Nava Durga

Ma Durga is most powerful form of Shakti. She holds the powers of all gods as she was created with gods highest form of Chi. She holds all the
weapons of Gods too. Ma Durga is mother Prakriti. She is highest form of Shakti and her shakti prime place is Manipur Dipa as ma Lalita
Tripurasundari or Sodashi. Ma Durga has nine forms and all of her forms have different powers and significance. These nine forms of Durga is

Shailaputri
Shailputri first Nava Durga.Goddess Shakti after leaving the form of Sati Devi, takes birth as daughter of mountain king. His name
was Saila and as her daughter is called as Shailputri. She had to born again because existence is based on Shiva and Shakti.
Without presence of Shakti Shiva is like death.
Worship and Puja of Shailaputri has special significance. On the first day of navaratri Yogi and practicer of Tantra, Sadhak concentrates
their energy on Muladhar Chakra. For non-yogi this is the day when his journey towards yoga begins.
By doing puja and Sadhana of Shailputri one can get various powerful results. Sometime family life became impossible due to lack of

Kushmanda
With her very light smile she created Cosmos so she is known as Kusmanda. When there was no existence of Cosmos and living

the Sun.
She is the goddess who can tolerate heat of the Sun. From her body light flows in all the ten directions. The Aura or attractive elements of
whole living being is because of her. She has eight hands so she is also known as Astabhuja Devi.
On her seven hands she carry respectively bow, arrow, Lotus flower, Kalash filed with Aamrit, Chankra and Gadha. On her eighth hand she
carries Jaap Mala which can give all the Siddhis and powers.
On the fourth day of Navaratri while worshiping Ma Kusmanda Yogi and practicer of Tantra, Sadhak concentrates their energy on Anahat
Chakra.

Bisudha Chakra. She is holding God Skand on the her right part lower hand. On her right part upper hand she is holding lotus which
symbolize knowledge. On her left part lower hand she is holding another Lotus flower and her upper hand is on Boon position known as
Bara Mudra.
Goddess Skanda Mata meditates by sitting on Lotus flower so she is also called as Padmamasana Devi. She rides lion. On the fifth day of

from her nose like dragon. She rides donkey.
Ma Kaalratri has four hands. Her right part upper hand is on Bara Mudra position which is capable for fulfilling all types of wishes. Her right
part lower hand is on Aabhaya Mudra position which is capable to fight any type of evil forces. On her left part upper hand she is holding
weapon build of metal and has thrones on it and her lower hand she is holding Khadka.

Maha Gauri
Maha Gauri complexion is fully white. Her form is eight years old. All of her stuffs are white even her jewelries and cloths are also
white. Mahagauri has four hands and she rides bull. She is holding trident on her right part upper hand and her lower hand is on
Bara Mudra position. On her left part upper hand is on Abhaya Mudra position and on her left part lower hand she is holding
Damaru.
On her Parvati form she did very hard meditation for millions of years to get lord Shiva as her husband. Due to her very hard meditation her
complexion turned into black and rough. She was very decided to only have Shiva as her husband.
Because of her very hard meditation lord Shiva finally got happy with her and speared Ganga Jaal on her body. Because of Ganga Jaal
her body turned into very bright in white complexion. Far that day on ward her named became Maha Gauri.
From Maha Gauri Puja and Sadhana devotee gets very powerful energy. All the pains and problems which would suppose come in future of
person will be destroyed. Her devotees other births will also be fruitful. All the dreams of would be true. Mahagauri puja is most fruitful puja.
Siddhidatri
On the ninth and final day of Navaratri Siddhidatri form of Maa Durga is worshiped. Siddhi means enlistment. As she is capable of
giving all types of Siddhi to her devotees her name became Siddhidatri.
According to Devi Purana Lord Shiva got Siddhis from her grace.She is complete form of Shakti which is power of Shiva. Without
Shakti Shiva will be Saab which means powerless.
To show the world Shakti and Shiva are essential to each other they took the form of Ardha Narishowra. It is duty of all human being to try

complexion turned into black and rough. She was very decided to only have Shiva as her husband.
Because of her very hard meditation lord Shiva finally got happy with her and speared Ganga Jaal on her body. Because of Ganga Jaal
her body turned into very bright in white complexion. Far that day on ward her named became Maha Gauri.
