Partner Pointer: Overview of Community Partner Accounts

Perhaps the most common question Community Partners have is for help with one of their
Community Partner accounts. As you know, we provide Community Partners different accounts
for different purposes. The accounts are not connected to each other, so changes to one
account (such as changing a password) do not affect another. These accounts do, however,
work together to ensure a Community Partner can perform all of its services and
responsibilities.

There are four types of accounts:

Site Manager Account
Navigator Accounts
Organizational Accounts
Reports Account

(ctrl+click links to skip to section)

Site Manager Account:

Website: TexasCommunityPartnerProgram.com

Purpose: Navigator management
o Approve Navigators registration requests
o Site Manager can also use the account to certify as a Your Texas Benefits
Navigator, if they choose to (this becomes a requirement, though, if the Site
Manager is the ONLY person at their Application Assistance site that can provide
application assistance)

CPP creates Site Manager account for the Site Manager at the end of the onboarding
process
o If Site Manager has a pre-existing Navigator account, however, it gets upgraded
to a Site Manager account instead; this preserves any Navigator training the Site
Manager may have done

User ID: Site Managers email address

Initial password: temporary password provided via automated email by the website
o These automated emails sometimes get sent to a spam/junk folder; this can be
avoided by labeling OCA_CPP_Website_Alert@hhsc.state.tx.us a safe sender
o A new temporary password can be requested anytime using the I forgot/change
your password link

An account never locks out due to inactivity or unsuccessful login attempts

To reset password: I forgot/change your password link on Login page

Navigator Accounts:

NOTE: at this time, it is possible for Site Managers to log into
www.yourtexasbenefits.com with this Reports Account. But since it doesnt have any
use there, we dont promote this (Reports Accounts do NOT track assistance provided
like Organizational Accounts do). After 80 days of not using the Reports Account to log
in at www.yourtexasbenefits.com, Site Managers may receive an automated email from
www.yourtexasbenefits.com letting them know that they have not logged in with the
Reports Account. Site Managers can ignore this message.
