The project purpose was to illustrate a mini-collection an-
ticipating the May 2014 summer collection for the lab. Every
Thursday of April, I would attend sample fttings, learn about
the garment and design process to incorporate into the illus-
trations. It was necessary to stay true to drape, colour, and
detail in the illustration.
The models faces are blank because although lulu has a def-
nite target/brand muse, we didnt want the customer to feel
this was targeted to a specifc appearance since this is still
an athletic and lifestyle brand.

In January 2014, Vancouver street-style photographer
Streetcheek and I partnered up as a collaboration. Streetcheek
takes the photos and every month I illustrate content they post,
as a result my work being posted on their Instagram feed.
Initially we are trying to build enough content together to create
stationary in the future, as their platform of followers and fans
are constantly growing.
