THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE.

La construccin del presente simple (Present Simple) en ingls es realmente fcil,
La conjugacin es el verbo sin to.
En la 3 persona del singular lleva la desinencia -s.
1.- los verbos se le agrega s

Examples:

give-gives. eat-eats. see-sees.

segunda persona t comes ustedes comen
third person he, she, it eats they eat
tercera persona l, ella come ellos, ellas comen


Casos especiales:

2.-Para los verbos que terminan en -ch, -o, -s, -sh, o -x, hay que aadir -es a la tercera
persona singular.
Examples:
dress-dresses. wash-washes. wacth-wacthes. go-goes.

fix-fixes. focus-focuses. teach-teaches

3.- Los verbos acabados en -y cuando la y no sea precedida de una vocal.
Forman la tercera persona en -ies.
Examples:

try-tries. party-parties. copy- copies study-studies


Study = estudiar

4.-Los verbos que finalizan en f o FE cambian a VES.
Examples:
half-halves. knife-knives. wolf-wolves



5.El verbo HAVE es irregular en la tercera persona singular, el -ve se reemplaza con -s.

Uso del presente simple.

El presente simple se usa para:

expresar hbitos y rutinas como: trabajar, cantar, bailar, caminar, comer, rer,
llorar, tener, dormir, ensear, estudiar, etc.
I work in a hospital
trabajo en un hospital
Situaciones permanentes
She has a cat.
Ella tiene una gato.
Leyes naturales o fsicas.
The Sun appears in the East
el Sol sale por el este
