1. GENERAL


1.1. SCOPE

This specification sets out the minimum requirements and the inspection plans for the
supply of low voltage electric switchboards (up to 1000 V a.c., 1500 V d.c.) including bus
bar ducts whenever applicable.
Any other additional information not covered by this specification will be specified in the
rules and publications in force and in the project technical documentation, particularly:

Data Sheets
Inspection Data Sheets (I.D.S.)
Required Documentation Data Sheet (R.D.D.S.)

The technical requirements of this functional specification are based upon considerations
of performances and functionality, therefore the instructions contained in this document
are not meant to be discriminatory.
Any alternative suggestions will be considered, provided that the compliance with what
required in this document is satisfied both from functional and performance points of
view.

1.2. NORMATIVE REFERENCES

The main Normative References that entirely define the low voltage switchboards system
as a whole are herewith listed.
References are made to the Directives (when applicable) and European Normative
references (EN = CEI EN), in the absence of the above, National CEI/CEI UNEL
normative references and/or IEC publications relating to the place of installation and/or as
stated by the contract.
In any case, all the rules, fixed by the legislative provision acts and regulations in force, if
those exist, and under the jurisdiction of which the plants are installed, should be
respected.

1.2.1 Applicable European Directives


ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (EMC)

Electric systems and equipment shall be in conformity with Directive 89/336/CEE, revised
and supplemented with directives 92/31/CEE, 93/68/CEE and 93/97/CEE, implemented
with D.Lgs. 615/96.
The preceding D.Lgs. 476/92 was repealed with exception for art. 14, comma 2.

LOW VOLTAGE DIRECTIVE (LVD)

Directive 73/23 CEE for electric material intended to be utilised within such voltage limits
as (501000 Vac and 751500 Vdc), implemented with legislative act L.791/77.
Its subsequent revision with directive 93/68 CEE, was implemented with D.Lgs 626/96.

2. FUNCTIONAL NORMATIVE REQUIREMENTS


2.1. DEFINITIONS

As for definitions and terminologies reference will be made to the rules in paragraph 1.2.

In accordance with rule CEI EN 60439 this specification is applied to low voltage electric
switchboards, defined as protection and manoeuvre equipment in accordance with the
following typologies :

The definition of the type will be sole competence of the switchboard supplier, who will
assume the overall responsibility.

Moreover the following additional definition are given:

2.1.1. Prototype switchboard

It is a switchboard which has passed successfully the test type prescribed by
CEI EN 60439-1 Rules and has a predetermined construction system referred to by type
tested assemblies (TTA/AS).

2.1.2. Metal-enclosed switchboard

It is a switchboard enclosed on all sides (except for the openings for cables), fitted with
metallic enclosure.

2.1.3. Power Center

It is a switchboard used for the distribution of electric power to secondary switchboards
(i.e. Motor Control Centres, Auxiliary Services Switchboards, etc.) and sometimes for the
supply, control and protection of big power motors (i.e. higher than 75kW).

2.1.4. Motor Control Centre

Used to supply, control and protect motors.

2.1.5. Power Motor Control Centre

Used for the distribution of electric power and to supply, control and protect motors,
obtained by joining Power Centre and Motor Control Centre type compartments.

2.1.6. Auxiliary Services Switchboard

Used to distribute electric power to auxiliary services such as lighting, low power users,
control circuits, etc.

2.1.7. Light Switchboard

Used to feed light circuits.

2.2. SYMBOLS AND ABBREVIATIONS

For symbols and abbreviations reference is made to the Rules listed in 1.2.

Moreover the following items are defined:
PC : Power Center
MCC : Motor Control Centre
PMCC : Power Motor Control Centre
ASP : Auxiliary Services Switchboard
LP : Lighting Switchboard
SWR : Multi-box Switchboard (Module Batteries)

2.3. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

Low voltage switchboards will be designed and built according to the environmental
conditions of the installation site, that will be described in the Data Sheet, and according
to service conditions prescribed in CEI EN 60439-1 Rule.

Switchboards and single components will not be subject to harmonic vibrations and
violent shocks that can occur during normal service.

When the presence of H
2
S in the atmosphere is anticipated, the following concentrations
will be assumed, if not otherwise specified:

0.10 ppm of H
2
S continuously;
5 ppm of H
2
S and 2 ppm of SO
2
occasionally of short periods.

The Supplier shall adopt adequate protections and demonstrate the validity with test
certificates on the components.

2.4 FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

2.4.1. Functional Characteristics

2.4.1.1. Electric sizing

The switchboards in their whole, each single equipment and component will be sized in
accordance with the relevant codes, and assuming that:
normal service conditions are as prescribed in Rule CEI EN 60439-1 or otherwise
specified in the Data Sheet
the installed equipment and bars conform to the rated values prescribed in the Data
Sheet, considering the possible future loads;
bars for the supply of more circuits are referred to rated currents of loads plus 25% of
the rated current of loads of highest rated current loads.

When there is no information about earth fault currents, values equal to those of the short
circuit current between phases will be assumed for TN electric systems.

2.4.1.2. Possibility for Extension

Switchboards with compartments will be arranged to allow for extension on both sides.
Bars will also have holes to allow for future extensions.

Compartments or cells will be provided when specifically required, or when the
switchboard is completed.
These arrangement as functional units will be described in more detail by the Company in
the Data Sheet.

2.4.2. Construction Characteristics

2.4.2.1. General prescriptions on materials

Materials will be suitable for the installation site, service and transport conditions.
The use of series and standard materials available on the market will be recommended.
Boxes, windows and other plastic parts belonging to the external cover will be resilient to
mechanical shocks not lower than a 7 J friction energy.

2.4.2.2. Structure and enclosure

Switchboards will be built according to a mechanic design, with enclosure and protection
level in accordance with the provisions of Rule CEI EN 60439-1.

If not otherwise indicated in the Data Sheet, the following protection degrees will be
guaranteed:

IP 3X: vertical sides; air or drain openings (protected internally by nets or metal
sheets with holes to prevent the entry of insects)
IP 4X: upper side and non vertical surfaces
IP 2X: internal diaphragms

The structure will be self supporting with reinforcements where needed and that can be
easily fitted as indicated in the Data Sheet; the enclosure will be made with steel sheets
adequately treated and protected.
Cables can be inserted in the switchboard from below or above as indicated in the Data
Sheet. This can be achieved through withdrawable plates, or when required, with cable
glands or other sealing systems.
Plates for single core cables (i.e. for power supply) will be of non-magnetic material.

In particular cases of higher than usual short circuit currents ( = 50 kA) there might be
required implementation of internal arch sealing for switchboards of Power Center and
Motor Control Center.

2.4.2.3. Segregations

Switchboards will be built with internal subdivisions through barriers or diaphragms in
accordance with Rule CEI EN 60439-1, and identified in the typical form of segregation
specified in the Data sheet.

2.4.2.4. Bus bar systems

The bus bar system, including shunted bars, will be capable of withstanding electric and
mechanical stresses due to short circuit currents, for the time specified in the reference
codes.
Bars will be hinged taking into account expansions and possible vibrations.
If not otherwise indicated, bars will be made of electrolytic copper. Bars of different
material can be considered only if a technical documentation on thermal and electro-
dynamic calculations is given beside the normal required prescriptions.

Bus bars shall be insulated if required in the Data Sheet or if provided as typical by the
Supplier.
The type of insulating material and protection and its thickness will be defined by the
Supplier in relationship to the service conditions in the Data Sheet.
Sheaths and resins will be of a flame retardant type in accordance with the
CEI EN 50266-2 , and resistant to superficial discharges.

In bar-bar joints and bar-cable joints, bars shall be adequately protected against
oxidation.
In the connections between bars and clips of Withdrawable parts, clips and shanks of
fixed parts will be protected against oxidation by silver plating.

Connections between bars and the equipment pertaining to a single circuit will be sized
for the highest current adjustable on the equipment itself. Bolts and clamps will be
provided with anti-loosening systems.

Supports of bars can be obtained by insulators or printed or banded insulating supports;
they will be of non hygroscopic and non flammable material and designed so that they
can avoid superficial charges in case of dust or condense.

Bars and insulated power conductors will be labelled as indicated by the reference codes.

a) Neutral bar (N)

In three-phase systems with neutral, the neutral bar shall extend for the whole length
of the phase bars and will be:

of a section equal to phase bars up to 200 mm
2
, if copper;
if and with larger section, of a section half of the phase bars with a min. of
200 mm
2
, except for more restrictive prescriptions due to fault currents.

In three-phase circuits plus neutral supplied with three-pole circuit-breakers, the
neutral bar shall have a sectioned length with bolts near an outlet terminal.

b) Protection bar (PE)

A protection bar (PE) shall extend for the whole length of the switchboard and shall
be provided with connection bolts at both ends, and anywhere the connection of a
cable is expected.
The sizing of a protection bar (PE) will be in accordance with the provisions of Rule
CEI EN 60439-1 for protection conductors.

2.4.2.5. Main Circuit

Power equipment shall have electric and construction characteristics as defined in the
Data Sheet, and in accordance with the reference codes.
If not otherwise specified, they shall have a main circuit with insulation rated voltage
equal at least to the one of the switchboard, and breaking capacity higher than the
maximum acceptable value of the short circuit current.
It not otherwise indicated, maximum overtemperatures accepted will be as provided in
Rule CEI EN 60439-1.

a) Automatic circuit breakers

Automatic circuit breakers will conform to Rule CEI EN 60947-2
If not otherwise indicated in the Data Sheet, they will be provided with a service
breaking capacity (Ics) higher than the maximum value accepted of the assumed
short circuit current.
Circuit breakers will be proved for the "A" or "B" category of utilisation, as specified
in the Data Sheet; if not otherwise indicated, "A" category switches will be used.

b) Contactors

Contactors will be made according to Rule CEI EN 60947-4-1.
Contactors will be air and compact type; other types of contactors may be
considered according to each particular case.
The a.c. release voltage of the coil will not be higher than 65% and not lower than
30% of the rated voltage.

c) Protection relays will comply with Rule CEI EN 60255 and the prescription specified
in the Data Sheet, whereas those integrated with automatic circuit breakers will
respond to the rules of switches.

Overload thermal relays will be bimetallic, three-pole, provided with protection
against phase fault and manual reset.They will be adjusted by a graduated device
and will operated at least on an exchange contact.Intervention classes of thermal
relays for electric motor with normal and heavy start, will be referred to the relevant
coordination Tables, or otherwise responding to the prescriptions of Rule
CEI EN 60947-4-1.The intervention at steady condition (hot) will occur approximately
for current values higher or equal to 1/4 of the corresponding cold intervention value,
that is with relay at ambient temperature.
Thermic relays of electronic type shall be admitted for protection of specific loads
e.g. fans, coolers etc. and in any case a distinct indication in the data sheets is
required.


d) Current and voltage transformers (CT, VT)
Current transformers will comply with Rule CEI EN 60044-1 whereas voltage
transformers (VT) will conform to Rule CEI EN 60044-2.They will have a standard
insulation voltage (Ui) and rated operation voltage (Ue) equal to the one of the
switchboard; they will be enclosed type with air or resin insulation. Current
transformers will be able to withstand thermal and dynamic stresses related to the
switchboard short-circuit. For current transformers of motor supplies the time of short
circuit will be of at least 0.5 s.

e) Motor starters
Starters, that is devices to start, stop and protect against overloads, consisting of
contactors and direct thermal relays, will be made in accordance with Rule CEI EN
60947-4-1.If not otherwise specified, for all motor starters and where required, a
local and board control will be provided, with the possibility of remote signalling,
shutdown and permission.Direct protection devices will be with manual reset. Unless
otherwise indicated, protection against short circuits will be made by automatic
circuit breakers coordinated with motor starters, so as to achieve coordination type
"2" in accordance with Rule EN 60947-4-1.Automatic circuit breakers provided for
the coordination with motor starters, will be "A" category, in accordance with Rule
CEI EN 60947-2. Motor starters groups will be in accordance with Rule CEI EN
60947-4-1:

AC-3 for motors with cage rotor in continuous, discontinuous service, etc.
AC-4 for motors with cage rotor in intermittent service.

When required by Company, the coordination of electric motor starters will be
indicated in the Data Sheet, and referred to in the relevant tables.

In case variable speed electric drives are utilised, refer to the specification

f) Removable and withdrawable parts
Removable and withdrawable parts shall be made in a way so that their electric
equipment can be connected or disconnected from the main circuit under voltage,
under safety conditions and respecting the minimum values of air and superficial
distances specified in Rule CEI EN 60439-1.If not otherwise specified in the Data
Sheet, removable or withdrawable parts of operating units will assume the positions
specified in Rule CEI EN 60439-1.When provided, the test position will be made with
the opening and the sectioning of main circuits, while auxiliary circuits remain
connected.The withdrawable system will be provided with interlocks that allow for
the insertion or disinsertion only with the circuit breaker or contactor open and that
prevent closure if the withdrawn part is not exactly in one of the two positions of
service or test.Limit switch or mechanical locks will be provided with manual release
to prevent the part to be withdrawn beyond the sectioning position.The withdrawn
position can be obtained only by releasing the above mentioned locks.As defined in
Rule EN60439-1, an automatic safety shutter will be provided for the protection of
direct contacts in each withdrawn part; the shutter can be controlled from the
withdrawn position.Shutters will have danger indications with colours or with symbols
or writing, in accordance with the reference rules.When the manoeuvre device of the
power disconnector is provided with returning spring, an insulated diaphragm shall
be placed between the disconnector blades and the spring.

2.4.2.6. Auxiliary circuits
Auxiliary supplies are as indicated in the Data sheet, and in accordance with the relevant
codes.All auxiliary equipment will conform to Rule CEI EN 60947-5, suitable for
continuous service and with the following use groups:
a.c.: AC-14 or AC-15
d.c.: DC-13 or DC-14

Auxiliary connections between compartments will be made with cable ducts to facilitate
the insertion or removal in safety conditions of single conductors.In crossings points of
metal walls, the conductors will be protected with brushings or insulating sheaths.When
connections must be removed for deliveries they will be connected to terminal
boards.Conductors terminations shall have compression type cable terminals and shall
be identified in accordance with Rule IEC 391.Auxiliary equipment shall have an
insulation rated voltage equal to the one of the electric system where they are inserted;
equipment which comes directly from the electric power system, will have a insulation
rated voltage equal to the one of the switchboard.If not otherwise indicated in the Data
Sheet, the following minimum characteristics will be guaranteed:

rated use currents (Ie): 5A 220 V a.c..; 1A 120 V d.c.
reference charge service: 120 cycles / hour (each relay)
mechanical duration class: 1 (in millions of operation cycles)

Each derivation to single auxiliary users will be protected as indicated in the Data Sheet.
a) Auxiliary relays

They will comply with IEC 60255 -1 Rules and the prescriptions of the Data Sheet.
They will be provided with the necessary auxiliary contacts for the specified
schemes, and with 1NO + 1NC additional free contacts.
Unless otherwise specified, lock-out relays (86) will be in continuous service with
manual reset and the lock-out position clearly indicated.

b) Transducers

Transducers will comply with Rule CEI EN 60688 and will have characteristics as
indicated in the Data Sheet.

c) Push-buttons and switches

Push-buttons, when provided, will be positioned and coloured with regard to their
function according to the provisions of Rule CEI EN 60073.

d) Signalling lamps

Unless otherwise indicated in the Data Sheet, colours will be in accordance with CEI
EN 60073 Rules.
The lamps shall be preferably of LEDS type. In alternative, incandescent type lamps
with a dropping resistance in series might be used.

e) Supply transformers

Supply transformers for control circuits will be provided only if expressly required
and indicated in the Data Sheet.
When provided, they will have the characteristics specified in Rule CEI EN 60742 for
"insulation transformers".
Supply transformers of more circuits, will be sized in such a way that:

the highest rated contactor or breaker is closed;
all other contactors or breakers are closed and the relevant signal lamps are on;
the available voltage on the secondary is not lower than 95% of the rated
voltage.

2.4.2.7. Instruments

All instruments will have accuracy class equal to 1.5 or higher.
All the instruments to be assembled on the front panel of the switchboard will be flush-
mounted with rear connections; the case will have preferably square or rectangular case
and with the possibility of applying seals where necessary.
Generally, ammeters and voltmeters will have a deviation at the rated value of about 75%
of the full-scale value.
Motor ammeters will have a full-scale deviation equal to 5 times the rated current of the
instrument with reduced full-scale.
Blank zero instruments will have a doubled scale around the rated value.

If not otherwise specified in the Data Sheet, n. 2 ammeters will be provided with each
motor start:

No. 1 in field
No. 1 on the switchboard

If not otherwise specified, recording instruments will be of electronic type with memory.

The use of multifunctional electronic relays that totally or partially replace the functions of
instruments should be approved by the Customer in advance.

2.4.2.8. Conductors

Conductors, except those of control electronic logics, will have the main following

b) Specific Characteristics

The section of conductors used for connections will be sized in accordance with the
minimum and maximum values prescribed in Rule CEI EN 60439-1 and considering the
following minimum sections allowed:

The sizing of protection conductors will be made according to the systems prescribed by

2.4.2.9. Terminal blocks

Terminal blocks, both main and auxiliary, will be suitable for the type and material of the
prescribed conductors, and in accordance with Rule CEI EN 60947-1-1.
Terminals not belonging to single equipment, will be with the components assembled on
standardised strips and grouped in identified terminal blocks with a code reported on an
adequate label.
Terminals with the same function will be close to one another and connected with
connecting links or similar method, thus avoiding the use of wire connection as much as
possible.
The terminal insulator will be made of melanin or other high density plastic.
Spare terminals will be provided in the terminal blocks for external connections, of at
least 10%.
Terminals of amperometric circuits between CT, protection and control devices, and all
amperometric terminals of strips for external connections, will be short-circuitable,
disconnectable and with a socket for portable instrument prods.
Unused CT secondary circuits and additional connection sockets will be connected to the
exit terminal blocks.
Unused amperometric terminals will be short circuited.
Terminals of voltmetric circuits between VT, protection and control devices, and all
terminal blocks for external connections, will be sectionable.
All the terminals relevant to control and signalling circuits will be numbered with
progressive numbers; power, voltmetric and amperometric terminals will be labelled as
indicated in the reference rules.
In metal enclosed switchboards, both power and auxiliary terminal blocks will be
positioned with regard to the incoming for external connections.
In cell type switchboards, power and auxiliary terminal blocks can be placed in the single
compartments.

2.4.2.10. Accessories and auxiliaries

a) Nameplates
Beside the safety nameplates defined by the Supplier, and in accordance with Rule
CEI EN 60439-1, the following labels made with plastic material sheets fastened with
bolts and with the below inscriptions will be provided.

General data
Giving the identification data of the Supplier, and other data prescribed by Rule CEI
EN 60439-1.

2.4.2.11. Assembly accessories and equipment

a) Assembly accessories
For each switchboard at least the following accessories will be supplied:

lift padeyes or similar devices;
supporting section irons and accessories for the switchboard clamping;
materials necessary for mechanic and electric assembly of the switchboard;
any other accessories that may be indicated in the Data Sheet

b) Tools
For each switchboard a set of keys and special tools will be supplied in such a
quantity and type to allow complete installation and maintenance of the switchboard.
For switchboards having removable parts with unitary mass higher than 30 kg, lift
trucks will be supplied to allow for easy removal of these parts, in the quantity
indicated in the Data Sheet.

2.4.2.13. Protective treatments

2.4.3. Packing for transport

Transport arrangements will be defined by the Supplier according to the Company
modalities.

Switchboards will be sectioned in units suitable for transport and their reassembly will be
as simple and safe as possible.

The switchboard components and equipment will be fitted and fastened so as to
withstand vibrations and frictions due to transport (road, train, sea) and the necessary
loading, unloading and installation operations carried out with lifting equipment.

Accelerations will be particularly considered, such as:

axial, critical in train transport
transversal, critical in road transport
vertical, critical in sea transport

2.5. BOUNDARIES, LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS

2.5.1. Limits and exclusions

Particular limits and exclusions, if any, are indicated in the Data Sheet.


2.6. ERGONOMICS

2.6.1. Accessibility

The accessibility of components for the different activities of assembly, maintenance,
operation and service will conform to the recommendations of Rule CEI EN 60439-1 and
other reference rules.

2.7. SAFETY

2.7.1. General prescriptions

The Supplier will guarantee that low voltage switchboards, subject of this Functional
Specification will be designed to respect the safety prescriptions contained in the
Reference Rules.

2.7.2. Protection against direct contacts

Live parts of electric circuits will be placed and protected in the terms prescribed by Rule
CEI EN 60439-1, so that trained and authorised persons can carry out the following
operations with energised switchboard without danger of direct contacts:
visual inspection of manoeuvre equipment;
control and reset of relays and disconnecting switch, inspection of signalling devices
and instruments;
replacement of auxiliary fuses, lamps, etc.;
voltage measurements, current and location of failures, carried out with the proper
instruments adequately insulated;
connection of cables from outdoor;
removal, for maintenance reasons, of the components of each de-energised circuit

2.7.3. Protection against indirect contacts

In accordance with the prescriptions of Rule CEI EN 60439-1 and CEI 64/8-4, protection
against indirect contacts can be achieved:

with protection circuit;
with measurements not using protection circuits.

Except for exceptional cases indicated in the Data Sheet, protection adopted will be
achieved by using a protection circuit to be connected to the earthing system, with regard
to the neutral system specified in the data sheet and in accordance with CEI 17-43.

For this reason a "protection bar" (PE) will be installed in all switchboards. In case of
switchboards with complete insulation, the "protection bar" (PE) will connect the
protection conductors and the cables armouring from outside the switchboard, and will
remain insulated from live parts and masses.

Withdrawable equipment will be connected to the protection circuit with peg, wiping or
spring contact, both in service position and in test position.


2.7.4. Fire resistance

The materials characteristics will be so that when subjected to fire or heating, they will not
catch fire, burn, keep combustion and emit fumes.
Especially for plastic materials, the self-extinguishing requirements will be guaranteed in
accordance with one of the following test methods:

ANSI UL 94, Class V
CEI EN 60707, Class FV
CEI EN 60695

The Manufacturer of switchboards will therefore provide test certificates of reaction to fire
by an officially recognised laboratory.

2.8. REQUIREMENTS FOR QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND ASSURANCE

Any additional requirements for quality management and/or assurance are contained in
the management specification enclosed in the request for bid.

2.9. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR REVIEW

When required, they will be indicated in the Inspection Data Sheet (I.D.S.) and are
classified in:

Type test
Acceptance test
Special test

For any controls and tests not provided in the Rules and in this specification, and
required in the Inspection Data Sheet (I.D.S.), the criteria will be defined case by case.

2.9.1. Type Test

Purpose of the type test is to verify that a specific type of low voltage switchboard
conforms to the reference Rules.
The type test will be carried out by making separate tests for each type tested assemblies
(TTA / AS), and for partially type tested assemblies (PTTA / ANS), and its installation will
be entire responsibility of the Supplier.

2.9.2. Acceptance Test (individual)

Purpose of this acceptance test is to verify that the single switchboard complies with to
the Company's requirements and to detect any inherent defects of materials and
construction.
The acceptance test (individual) will be carried out on all switchboards of the scope of
supply, after assembly and by the Supplier, carrying out the tests specified by the Rule
CEI EN 60439-1 and classified in type tested assemblies (TTA / AS) and partially type
tested assemblies (PTTA / ANS).

2.9.3. Special Test

It includes tests and inspections not provided in the type and acceptance tests, that the
Company may require time to time.
The list of tests and inspections and any criteria of execution will be indicated in the
Inspection Data Sheet (I.D.S.)

2.10. DOCUMENTATION

The Supplier will deliver to the Company all the documents indicated in the Requested
Document Data Sheet (R.D.D.S.), in accordance with the agreed terms and schedule.
The technical documentation will be written in the official language indicated in the Data
Sheet and using the symbols indicated in the Rules applied.

2.10.1. Bid Documentation

The Supplier will include in his bid all the information and documentation required in the
Data Sheet (R.D.D.S.).

2.10.2. Documents Subjected to Approval

The approval of the documentation by the Company, if necessary, will refer to the formal
verification of the parameters indicated in the design's documents only.

2.10.3. Documentation used by the Company for the system design

The Supplier will deliver to the Company all the documentation necessary to the
execution of the system design and to the installation of the supplied system.

2.10.4. Test Documents

The Supplier will deliver to the Company, within the schedule and in the way indicated in
the Data Sheet, all the certificates relating to the type, acceptance and special tests.

2.10.5. Final Technical Documentation

The final technical documentation, comprising the Supplier and Subsuppliers catalogues
and publications will include the following references:
name of the Supplier
name of the Company
identification tag of the switchboard, as indicated by the Company
title of the document
data of the Company's order

and will consist of:

a) Design and Installation instructions

b) Operations instructions

c) Maintenance instructions

The description and drawings can be contained in catalogues and documents of the
Supplier, as long as they satisfy the following conditions:
they contain all data and information required in their final form
they are relevant to the type supplied and the materials included in the supply are
clearly identified amongst those in the document.

The documentation subject to approval will be integral part of the final documentation
approved by the Company.
