sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be
slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who

law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his
own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in
order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk
not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according

God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the
Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is
from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the
spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is
greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak
from the world, and the world listens to them.

our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this

endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put
us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy
Spirit who has been given to us.

Jesus answered him, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot
see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to him, How can a man be born when he
is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus
answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he
cannot enter the kingdom of God.

up, but they have rebelled against me. The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its
master's crib, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand. Ah, sinful
nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal
corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel,
they are utterly estranged. Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue
to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
