READ: Bible Story // Matthew 25:14-28
Read through this passage with your parent(s). Answer these questions:
1) How did the master reward the servants who used his things wisely ?
Why do you think he did that ?
2) Who do you think knew their master better, the rst servants or the last one ? Why ?
3) When we get to know God, its easy to use things His way because we know He loves us
and that His way is best. What are 3 things God has given you that you can use for Him ?

FOLLOW GOD
Pray with your Mom/Dad before you go to School. Talk to your Mom/Dad if you have any
questions about God. Read your bible.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER
Call a sick friend to see how they are doing. Donate food to the homeless or your clothes
to Goodwill or Salvation Army.

Go to the bible whenever you are mad at a friend or having problems with a classmate.
Ask your Mom/Dad to help you see where the Bible talks about forgiving & loving others.

LOVE YOURSELF
Cover your EYES GATES & EAR GATES. Watch what you SEE and HEAR. What are some
things that are good to see ? What are some things you shouldnt see or hear ?

CHOOSE GOD AND DO RIGHT
Call a sick friend to see how they are doing. Donate food to the homeless or your clothes
to Goodwill or Salvation Army.

THE METER IS RUNNING
Make a checklist of everything you have to do. Ask your Mom/Dad to help you create one.

HANDLE WITH CARE
Make sure you take GOOD care of the things you have. Your parents love you and work
hard to provide you with the things you have. Return the love by taking care of things.

JUST DO IT FOR GOD
Do you play sports ? Cheerleader ? Do you like to sing, act, or dance ? Whatever you do,
God is pleased when you do these things with God in mind. Work hard & practice.

WHAT IS TITHING
TITHE= A TENTH IN THANKS to HIM for EVERYTHING

Tithe= 10% of our earnings

TITHE GAME
Give each child a paper plate and two paper bowls, one of which you have marked with
the word "Tithing" and one of which you have marked with the words "To Keep." Explain
that you are going to place a number of items on their paper plates. Their job is to count
them, decide what ten percent would be, and put that number of items in their "Tithing"
bowl. They can put the rest in their "To Keep" bowl to eat later. Use a variety of small
edible items, such as mini-marshmallows, chocolate chips and small candies.


CREATE A TITHE TANK
Get an empty jar or piggy bank and set aside money to give on Sunday. Every Sunday
(before heading to church) empty the jar and place your money into the offering basket.


GIVING TO GOD IS FUN
God has blessed you with so much. Hes given you clothes, food, family, friends, talents,
gifts, abilities, toys, and games. Tithing is your way of saying Thank You to God.
