Royal Girl Week
(Jan 27th-feb 1st)
[theme: the quickening]
I was in the car on the way home from an event in Philadelphia. I couldnt help but
think about the great time I had with Alyssia, our Instagram Admin. We had just left an
amazing 1 year celebration for a ministry located in Philadelphia: Pretty Girls Praise
God. The crazy thing was that even before we got to the event, our spirits were talking
back and forth. When we got lunch, our talk went from personal matters to purpose
matters. We joked, laughed, thought, and went back and forth in conversation about
Girls of Royalty. We even talked about our own personal goals outside of GOR. I was
praying to God about having girlfriends who concerned themselves about the work of
God. I want to be around people of purpose. Im not talking about a self-concerned
purpose that wasnt even set by God. Im talking about being around people who
desired to live that Royal Lifestyle that God decreed for his children. I was fascinated
as I drove home by how tired I was. I was tired because of all the fun I had.
It was Godly fun. I was happy.

I think what made me happy was because my inner spirit became quickened when
Alyssia began to speak about what she wanted to do for God and for her life period.
Have you ever been around someone that fed your flesh but not your spirit. When
they came around, it was to gossip or make fun of another sister. Maybe it was to talk
about their ambitions that were not glorifying God. Maybe they wanted to discourage
you about how you couldnt fulfill what God told you to. These are people that just
make the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you shake His head. I dont know about you
but if you cant quicken my spiritual self, you cant stay in my circle. I honestly
believe, that many of us compromise our values and morals for the companionship of
other people. Thats human nature. As humans, we desire comfort and support from
others. However, it matters who these others are, if you want to fulfill your God-
given purpose. I believe in one of our previous packets, I stated that a person can kill
your purpose before you even get it off the ground, if you let them. I know many
purpose killers. I believe another week we talked about Mary, the mother of Jesus,
and how important it was to have a Joseph in your corner. However, today were
going to focus on Elizabeth, the cousin of Mary. Id like to think of Elizabeth as Marys
girlfriend. Mary was younger than Elizabeth but it doesnt matter your age-is God

living on the inside of you ? We all need that quickening. What does it mean to be
quickened ?


I found these denitions to be my favorite:
1. spring to life; become animated
2. stimulate
3. give or restore life to
4. woman) reach a stage in pregnancy when movements of the fetus can be felt.
5. (of a fetus) begin to show signs of life.

Do your friends do this to your spirit ? Definition 4 speaks to the movement within the
belly of a mother. One our packets recently was called the Delivery Room where we
talked about giving birth to the purpose inside of us. However, this weeks post is
really a focus on your spirit man. Maybe you have several ideas that you want to give
birth to. Maybe its personal goals you want to reach. Whatever it may be, the people
who surround you should make you even more happy and more excited to go and get
whatever you desire. Lets look at the interaction between Mary and Elizabeth, her
cousin.

Luke 1:39-45 (Message Version)
Mary didnt waste a minute. She got up and traveled to a town in Judah in the hill
country, straight to Zachariahs house, and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard
Marys greeting, the baby in her womb leaped. She was filled with the Holy Spirit, and
sang out exuberantly,
Youre so blessed among women,
and the babe in your womb, also blessed!
And why am I so blessed that
the mother of my Lord visits me?
The moment the sound of your
greeting entered my ears,
The babe in my womb
skipped like a lamb for sheer joy.
Blessed woman, who believed what God said,
believed every word would come true!

To me, this is an extremely powerful moment. Mary had just heard from the angel and
she immediately went to go see her cousin Elizabeth. When you get around that
person, does your spirit leap with expectancy of what is to come ? Some women cant

celebrate another womans purpose coming to pass. You know why ? They arent
operating in the power of the Holy Spirit. They are operating according to their flesh-
to how they feel, their emotion. They dont want to understand the power of God
working in their life. They are like this because they cant recognize the power of God
working in their OWN lives. Elizabeth rejoiced for Mary because she knew the purpose
that Mary was fulfilling. Can you recognize the power in another persons purpose ? I
believe that Girls of Royalty is different than any other womens ministry. As I began to
talk to Alyssia, I recognized that the purpose of Girls of Royalty was why we even met.
Purpose & joining together for the goal of impacting others while developing
ourselves. A Royal Girl is well-rounded in all that she does. Girls of Royalty seeks to
empower, educate, and spread the message of the Gospel. We will pray for you, we
will talk about fashion, and how to grow that business you own at the same time. We
will talk about the importance of your credit, while also talking bout different skin care
regimens for your body. We will talk about single parenting as well as how to pray
yourself through a divorce. Being Royal is also knowing how to treat my fellow sister
and how to help each other get to where we need to be individually and collectively.

When I get around you, my creative juices should start flowing. I want to be around
people that could fall asleep talking about our dreams and the things that we love. My
inner Spirit should be filled with joy when we begin to talk. Thats why I love the 3rd
definition, to give/restore life to. Sisters, lets give life to one another. Lets push one
another to become all that we can be. I will NOT let you fall to the side. You may have
fallen, but Im going to put you on my back and carry you to the finish line. You may
have strayed away, but Im going out there to find you and bring you back to life. You
may be crying in the corner, but Im going to bring you a tissue and give you my
listening ear. We may be from different backgrounds but we serve the same Jesus. If
Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever then I need to love you-
yesterday,today, and forever !!!


REMEMBER

Previously, we have prayed for ourselves and for the Holy Spirit to work in our lives.
However, during this time, we will intercede on behalf of our sisters. If we cant cover

Scriptures to Meditate on this Week:
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall,
one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not
another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one
keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will
withstand hima threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 ESV)
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been
born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because
God is love. (1 John 4:8 ESV)

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting
to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the
more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV)

humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint

Daily Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I boldly confess that I am ROYALTY. I am the righteousness of
you. This means that my day has already been determined as VICTORIOUS. I will not
worry or doubt about anything. I operate upon my faith and NOT on what I see. The
word of God declares that faith without works is dead. Therefore, I will begin to walk
according to what YOU have said. I possess my healing, deliverance, and favor. I thank
you for the Godly relationships you have and are setting up in my life. I thank you for
the Body of Christ and for all of the women across the world who love You. I declare
that you are unifying women all over the world for Your purpose. I decree and I declare
that favor not only follows me but it also follows my sisters. I pray for healing,
deliverance, and favor for all of my sisters. In the name of Jesus, I cover every single
and married mothers household in the Blood of Jesus. I cover every single, engaged,
married, divorced, and widowed woman in the Name of Jesus. God, get the Glory
today. Have your way in me today. I submit to you Holy Spirit.
