[Theme: The Holy Spirit: Part 1]

One of the greatest benefits of being a Christian is the revelation

knowledge given through the Holy Spirit. Some of you may be new in your
relationship with Jesus Christ. Some of you may have been saved for many
years. No matter where we are in our walk, the Holy Spirit is critical in the
life of the those who love Jesus Christ. This week is going to be very
special. Many discussions among large groups dont include the Holy
Spirit. People love to talk about Purity, Peer Pressure, Relationships, and
being one with Jesus Christ. However, without the Holy Spirit it is truly
difficult to achieve or overcome things that we face in the world. We were
not meant to face it alone. The Holy Spirit is ESSENTIAL. This week we
will be grabbing our highlighters and pens and getting DEEP in Gods
Word. This weeks bible study will be like none other. We as an entire
group of sisters all over the world, will be seeking Gods face like never
before. We are declaring a purification of mind,body,and soul. This week
will be a week of SHIFTING. Are you ready to get DEEP ? Lets go.

Do you remember in last weeks packet how we spoke on the fade that
happened in Jesus life ? We dont see any written scripture of those 18
years between 12 and 30 years old ? However, when Jesus does reappear,
BEFORE he goes into his ministry, the Holy Spirit comes upon him.
Everything that Jesus did was guided by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is
Gods spirit living on the inside of us. The Holy Spirit was leading Jesus as
he began to do the work of his Father. I believe that the number one
reason why many Christians do not live up to their full potential is because
they are trying to do the work of God WITHOUT the HOLY SPIRIT. Once
we realize that the Holy Spirit is literally Gods Spirit moving and working
on the inside of us, we wont do anything without the Holy Spirit. We are
going to be sisters moving based upon the Holy Spirit and not ourselves.

Matthew 3:16
And Jesus when he was baptized, went up straightway from the water:and
lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God
descending as a dove, and coming upon him; and lo, a voice out of the
heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased

"

This week we will be focusing on 3 key points:

A) The Holy Spirit is my Comforter.
B) The Holy Spirit is FREELY given to the believer
C) The Holy Spirit provides wisdom & revelation

A) The Holy Spirit is my Comforter

(DEFINITION) Comforter: a person or thing that provides consolation

"

When Jesus was about to leave the earth, his disciples were concerned.
They pondered on the fact of who was going to be with them after Jesus
left. The same thing that led Jesus while he was here on earth, was what
he was leaving them with: THE HOLY SPIRIT. Lets look at John 14.

"

16-17) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth:whom the world
cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him:ye know
him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.

"

26) But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in
my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all
that I said unto you.

"

The Holy Spirit is noted here as the Comforter. He is JUST for the
believer (those who believe in Jesus Christ). From this passage we learn
several things. 1) Holy Spirit= Comforter, Spirit of Truth 2) He lives inside
of us and with us 3) He is a teacher and reminds us of Jesus words.

The Holy Spirit is that voice in our ear guiding us to do Gods will.

B) The Holy Spirit is FREELY given to the believer

When we decided to give our lives to Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit became
available to us. However, many dont take advantage of what has been
provided to us. I dont know about you, but I want to use everything that
God has provided for me so I can be victorious in this life on earth. Lets
make this clear: THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US.

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access
by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the
glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that
suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and
character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because
God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who
has been given to us.

Titus 3:4-7
But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man,
appeared, not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves,
but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of
regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, which he poured out upon
us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour; that, being justified by his
grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

C) The Holy Spirit provides wisdom & revelation

The Holy Spirit helps us live everyday life according to Gods will. He is the
one that gives us revelation. What is revelation ?
(DEFINITION) Revelation: the divine or supernatural disclosure to
humans of something relating to human existence or the world, the
making known of something that was previously secret or unknown"

Have you ever watched a movie several times and every time you watch it,
you see something new or something you missed ? This is similar to how
revelation works with the Holy Spirit and us. When we begin to read our
word and seek Gods face, things begin to come to us that only the Holy
Spirit could show us. You may read a scripture and all of a sudden
something becomes clear in your life. Its like the Holy Spirit draws back
the curtains and shows us deeper things. Surface Christians dont receive
revelation. Revelation comes from spending time with the Holy Spirit and
dwelling in Gods presence. Lets look at John 16 below.

shall hear, these shall he speak:and he shall declare unto you the things

6-10 We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get
your feet on firm spiritual ground, but its not popular wisdom, the
fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a
year or so. Gods wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the
interior of his purposes. You dont find it lying around on the surface. Its
not the latest message, but more like the oldestwhat God determined as
the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the
scene. The experts of our day havent a clue about what this eternal plan
is. If they had, they wouldnt have killed the Master of the God-designed
life on a cross. Thats why we have this Scripture text:

What God has arranged for those who love him.

But youve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all
out into the open before you.

10-13 The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the
depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along. Who ever
knows what youre thinking and planning except you yourself? The same
with Godexcept that he not only knows what hes thinking, but he lets us
in on it. God offers a full report on the gifts of life and salvation that he is
giving us. We dont have to rely on the worlds guesses and opinions. We
didnt learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from
God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus, and were passing it
on to you in the same firsthand, personal way.

14-16 The unspiritual self, just as it is by nature, cant receive the gifts of
Gods Spirit. Theres no capacity for them. They seem like so much silliness.
Spirit can be known only by spiritGods Spirit and our spirits in open
communion. Spiritually alive, we have access to everything Gods Spirit is
doing, and cant be judged by unspiritual critics. Isaiahs question, Is there
anyone around who knows Gods Spirit, anyone who knows what he is
doing? has been answered: Christ knows, and we have Christs Spirit.

Daily Confession (Confess this EVERY morning for this week)

Good Morning Holy Spirit. Thank you for being my comforter and
revealing the will of God within me. I declare that TODAY will be a GREAT
DAY. I declare that FAVOR, BLESSINGS, AND PEACE are walking by my
side today. I declare that every aspect of my life is COMPLETE and there is
no lack. I declare that you are opening up doors for me and shutting doors
that are not needed in my life. Holy Spirit guide me today. Show me how
to operate completely in Gods will. Help me to spread the love of God
today. I will not be discouraged or feel defeated. I know that because You,
Holy Spirit, are working in me, I have the victory because of the
AWESOME God that I have. I am grateful for you, Holy Spirit. Thank you
for your daily revelation and knowledge that you give me.

a) Eat ONLY fruits,vegetables,nuts,unsweetened tea & water
b) Stay away from sugar, flour, junk food, dairy, coffee
c) Ask for the Holy Spirit to reveal to us how we should govern our
