WEBPRO, one of SSAs OSS/BSS Client Systems, handles user
interfaces and manages service provisioning & mediation
activities between NSO and Service Providers
NSO/SP management
Manage user accounts and authorization of NSO/SP
Keep track of bandwidth usage, user activity history
User interface for Service Provisioning and Mediation
GUI for NSO/SP users to manage automatic service provisioning
requests and CDR delivery. It then performs system interfaces to
IBOSS-MD.
WEBPRO is also a portal site for accessing other IPSTAR service support
system such as Corrective maintenance, Service desk and reporting
servers.

Nominal Digital Bandwidth (NDB)
IPSTAR bandwidth is commercially sold or leased out to customers (NSO & SP) on the basis
of NDB
NDB is the IPSTAR capacity which is unitized and normalized with a standard parameters
(Traffic, Performance, Link and UTs ODU)
Traffic:
Normal Broadband Internet Access (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, etc)
Performance: IPSTAR Standard Dynamic Bandwidth Management
Dynamic Capacity Allocation (DCA)
Dynamic Link Allocation (DLA)
Slotted-Aloha and TDMA (131KHz) dynamic control on the return channel

Clear Sky with following operating conditions:
Typical Satellite Payload Operating Level: -6dB-OBO and 9.5dB-OBO for
forward and return links in ALC (automatic level control) mode
Optimum Gateway EIRP level meets the flux density requirement of the
satellite payload input

IPSTAR Product ID (PID)
A PID characterizes a service configuration in IPSTAR broadband service link to
each user
Each PID indicates the amounts of Usage Capacity and its ENC together with
Class of Service (Cos)
Max/GMod/Min and Sharing (or Contention ratio; users per Mbps)
Type of Services (ToS) & Quality of Service (QoS)
Applications or Services with different service level of provision
Link of Services (LoS)
Size of UTs ODU on specific beam/coverage with specific installation quality and parameters
Equivalent NDB Capacity (ENC) is defined based on Adjustment Factors from its
underlying XoS as follows:
ENC (of each PID) = Usage Capacity x XoS Adjustment Factor(s)
= Usage Capacity x LoS AF x ToS AF
ENC represents average satellite bandwidth/NDB planned per PID
