Letuce: Prices contnue to stay low on these leafy greens just in tme for a surge in salad consumpton. Mangos: We contnue to get really nice tropical mangos with good prices. Heirloom Tomatoes: We have no local heirlooms and the producton has been waning in Canada. Orders are being pro-rated, keeping our supply very unpredictable. Blackberries: Prices on blackberries are high and the market is tght. The transiton from Mexico to Arkansas and Georgia is not going well. Raspberries: The cool days they are having in California is impactng producton and the plants are not yielding their typical volumes. We are experiencing some pro-rated orders. Cantaloupe & Honeydews: The market on cantaloupe has eased of a bit with more producton out of California and honeydews are much beter due to sourcing from Texas, California and Mexico. Lemons: Early summer price hike in efect. Will go up from here. Figs: The Black Mission fgs from Arizona have jumped up in price but the demand has not relented. KEEP IN MIND Cherries: Bing cherries from both Washington State and from our local Crown Orchard in Virginia are great tastng and fnally somewhat more afordable. Blueberries: North Carolina is shipping plump and sweet ber- ries in full pints now. Price is stable. Clementne's: Back in stock now from South Africa. Avocados: Same outstanding butery, smooth consistency and prices stll reasonable. Cilantro, Leeks & Green Onions: Nice fresh quality and steady prices. Broccoli & Broccoli Crowns: Same price levels as last week and good availability. Iceberg & Romaine Hearts: These are the two leafy green items that are not bargain-priced this week. Green Peppers: Coming down in nice orderly steps as Georgia producton gradually improves. Crate Basil: Has been spoty in availability but okay now from N.J.
