International Postgraduate Institute Excellence PolyTech of Kazakh National Technical University, 22 Satpaev, 050013 Almaty, Kazakhstan *e-mail: zvezda.s.a@gmail.com One promising application of increasing amounts of sulfur (a product of oil and gas processing) is to obtain a fungicidal drug to combat fungal diseases of plants for growing vegetables, fruit and industrial crops. For the spraying of plants required aggregation stable sulfur suspension hydrophobized. The purpose of the work-to develop a method of obtaining hydrophobized sulfur adsorption by modification the surfactant (sulphanol, CTABr), water soluble polymers (metatsid, NaCMC), mineral supplements (diatomite) and their compositions. To obtain a hydrophilic (colloidal) of sulfur "wet-milling" lump sulfur Duration 2 hours spent in a ball mill with a speed of 1,200 rpm. at a ratio of solid / liquid is equal to 2:1 (liquid- aqueous surfactant, WSP). This kind of dispersion provided the adsorption of surfactant molecules and WSP on the surface of sulfur. After drying, pre-shredded sulfur powder "dry milling" was carried out in mills and abrasive blade type with a speed of 22,500 rpm. It was established that the optimum milling time 1 min content in the mixture with sulfur 0.5% (by weight sulfur) sulphanol and 30 seconds if they contain 0.25% CTABr. Increasing the milling time to 10 minutes led to coalescence of particles of sulfur (hydrophobic interaction) and the formation of "clumps", "records" marked by visual observation. With gentle agitation brush clumps, the plates were destroyed and the sulfur particles is fully passed through a sieve with a pore diameter of 0.035 mm (3,5.10 -3 cm). And even with the use of palladium grids (d = 0,392-0,1064 microns) 40% of the powder to pass through such fine pores. This superfine powder, sulfur can be used for soil treatment. Hydrophobic interactions manifest themselves in the preparation of 0,5% aqueous suspension of colloidal sulfur for the analysis of variance. Were obtained by differential curves of particle size distribution, representing the dependence of the mass distribution function (F(r)) on the particle radius. For optimum grinding time minimum radii of particles are (0,6-0,8) .10 -3 cm
see Note greater efficiency CTABr - large quantities F (r) 38.10 4 and the displacement of the maximum on the distribution of fine area (r = 4.10 -4 cm ). Modification of sulfur metatsid yields dispersed system with a particle size 4,5.10 -4 cm increase in concentrations of up to 5% does not affect the degree of dispersion, but also reduces the content of fine fraction. Composite additive metatsid plus diatomaceous promotes dispersion (2,5.10 -3 cm) and increases the stability of a suspension of sulfur. When dispersed in the presence of NaCMC and diatomite was obtained aggregation stable for a long time (time of observation more than 5 days) suspension of hydrophilic sulfur.
