Clear and fieldstrip your
firearm according to the
instructions in your GLOCK
owners manual. Remove the
factory spring guide and
store for future use.
Please note that the battery pack and
cap come preassembled and are shown
separately for illustration purposes
only.
Make sure that your LaserMax
sight is correctly installed in
the GLOCK slide assembly
before proceeding.
The guiderod must be parallel
with the barrel and the wedge-
shaped fin on the battery cap
should be positioned away
from the barrel.
Insert LaserMax unit, lens first,
into the circular opening in
the front of slide.
Note the correct orientation of the
wedge-shaped fin on the battery cap
(inset).
Applying forward pressure to
compress spring, seat battery
cap end by placing it into the
semi-circle shaped notch on
the barrel lug and allowing
the spring to retract, pushing
the sight into place.
Fin should point
straight up and
be centered

Before proceeding with this step:
Note the correct orientation of the installed
GLOCK slide lock spring. In the next step, the
LaserMax spring will be installed identically.
After you have familiarized
yourself with proper positioning
of the GLOCK slide lock spring,
use the supplied tool to depress
it until you are able to easily
remove the slide lock from the
frame (a).
Remove the GLOCK slide lock
spring: Turn the GLOCK frame
upside-down and gently rap on
table. If the slide lock spring does
not come out, use the supplied
tool to lift it out (b).
Store the GLOCK slide lock and
GLOCK slide lock spring for future
use.
Gently depress the LaserMax
spring while simultaneously
sliding the LaserMax switch in
from either side (a, b).
Reassemble as usual. Thats it!
Your slide lock is now also the
activation switch for your
LaserMax!
The red indicators on the
LaserMax switch must face
back toward the shooter,
and the two pointed
bumps must face down
into the frame.
Insert the LaserMax slide lock
spring into the frame by placing
the long curve of the spring into
the slot first (a).
Using the supplied tool, press
down firmly on the spring to seat
it in the frame (b).
In its final position, the top of the
spring should never extend
above the surrounding polymer
slot (c).
1141P, 1141LP, 1151P, 1151PFGR:
The top of the spring should
be about 1/8 below the top
of the polymer slot that
surrounds it.
1131P:
The top of the spring
should be slightly below
the top of the polymer
slot that surrounds it.

Using the tool,
depress the spring
at the rear, closest
to the slide lock.
Insert the tool under spring and
slide it all the way to the back of
the spring. Lift up carefully, tool
roughly parallel to spring.
NOTE: Spring is under tension!
You may want to shield the spring so
that it does not fly out unexpectedly
upon being dislodged.
