The Numbers of the Words

Tehillim/Psalm 119 and the Chasid of hwhy

a Many of our readers will already be familiar with the various sects within Judaism
whose adherents are known as Hasidic Jews.

While these particular believers are
very committed to the paths of uprightness, it is still important to note that, even within
the Hasidic Jewish movements, there have been (and still are) various divisions and
persuasions regarding what should be set forth as the most important aspects of the
Torah (and what it means to serve Elohim with emunah/faithfulness).

Yet all sons and daughters of the Most High, all those who are sincerely walking in the
footsteps of our forefather, Abraham, are also qualified to be regarded as chasid
(Hasidic), even if they do not openly proclaim such a descriptor over their lives. In
the present study, we will look to Ruach haQodeshthe Set Apart Spiritfor
inspiration and guidance over this essential matter. In the Mind of our Creator (for that
is the only thing that ultimately counts), what really defines a Hasidic worshipper?

What makes someone a chasid

the Presence of hwhy, the Elohim of Yisrael?

The Scriptures provide the answers to this question. And we will see that all sincere
believersthose who walk in the Torah/Teaching of Mosheh and his Successor,

eSwhy the Mashiach

are also those who hwhy reckons to be chasid/dyox.

The Hebrew Word(s) Forming the Etymology of Hasidic
The etymology of a word shows us its origins and its historical transformation across a
period of time, often centuries. We briefly consider the Hebrew word(s) which have
resulted in the more modern-day term Hasidicthe adjective typically, though not
exclusively, used to describe those Jews who subscribe to certain rabbinic teachings.

When hwhy proclaimed His Name before Mosheh on Mount Sinai, it was His great
dox/chesed/lovingkindness to which He gave the most preeminence:

5 And hwhy descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and
proclaimed the Name of hwhy. 6 And hwhy passed by before him, and
proclaimed, hwhy, hwhy, an Elohim merciful and gracious, slow to
anger, and abundant in chesed and truth; 7 keeping chesed for

thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will
by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon
the children, and upon the childrens children, upon the third and
upon the fourth generation. 8 And Mosheh made haste, and bowed
his head toward the earth, and worshipped. Exodus 34:5-8

This is the lovingkindness/doxh/hachesed which Elohim has commanded to a
thousand generations. While many do not realize it, beginning with Abraham,

has commanded His Torah and His great chesed/lovingkindness across an immense
time span of 1000 generations:

9 Know, therefore, that hwhy your Elohim, He is Elohim, the faithful
El, who keeps the covenant and the chesed/lovingkindness with those
that love Him and keep His commandments to the thousandth
generation, 10 and repays those that hate him to their face, to
destroy them: He will not be slack to him that hates Him, He will
repay him to his face. 11 You shall therefore keep the commandment,
and the statutes, and the ordinances, which I command you this day,
to do them. 12 And it shall come to pass, because you hearken to
these ordinances, and guard, and do them, that hwhy your Elohim
will keep with you specifically the covenant and specifically the
chesed which He swore to your fathers. Deuteronomy 7:9-12

The ancient Hebrew words chesed/dox/kindness and dyox/chasid

/kind/reverent
one led to another form of this word in modern Hebrew: twdyox/chasidut. And this
is the family of words that gave rise to the term Hasidic, as it is now used in the
various groups composing the Hasidic Jewish movement.

Which Psalm Proclaims the Ultimate Amein Over the Word of hwhy?
We will momentarily embark on a meditation which may appear to be diverging from
the topic. However, when all is said and done, it will be seen that this aspect of our
study is quite relevant to the subject at hand. We begin with a question:

Which Psalm proclaims the ultimate amein
the so be itthe certainty over the Word of hwhy?

Which of the Psalms speaks more than any other about the special place we are to give
to the Word of Elohim? Or which of the Psalms speaks more than any other about the
certainty the Word of hwhy gives us in the midst of the many uncertainties we must all
face in this present life? Would that psalm not be Tehillim/Psalm 119? Not only is it
the longest of all 150 Psalms, but nearly every line of Tehillim 119 has something to

say about the Word of hwhy and/or the relationship which we should have with our
Creator in/through His enduring Torah. And as we turn to the inspired Hebrew
misparim/numbers, still more instruction (and confirmation) comes forth over the
matter. We see that the word Nma/amein has a full value (fv)

of 119:

(pv) 28 = (14) N + (13) m + (1) a = Nma = amein = so be it/surely/verily

(mv) 91 = (50) N + (40) m + (1) a = Nma = amein
=========
(fv) 119

This result is far from coincidental: the full value of Nma/amein is 119 and displays
the Inspired and Sovereign Design woven into the very fabric of the Word of hwhy.
The Hebrew word Nma/amein has a full value of 119 and the psalm which proclaims
the ultimate ameinthe ultimate certaintyover His Word is Tehillim 119. This
shows us just how marvelously inspired is the Word of hwhy. This is amazement
beyond description because it comes from the Elohim-breathed Word of hwhy. The
word amein (and its number values) emanated from the very Essence and Being of
our Creator apart from any effort on His part to so formulate it. Blessed be His
Qadosh Name.

The Chasid of hwhy and the 119
th
Psalm
The importance of Tehillim 119 must be seen in light of The Shemawhat the
Messiah teaches to be the greatest commandment

in all of the Torah. That
commandment is found in the Book of Debarim/Deuteronomy:

Shema Yisrael, hwhy is our Elohim, hwhy is one.
And you shall love hwhy your Elohim with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Shema means to hear and to do. The Messiah was the Torah made Flesh

and He
has declared The Shema to be the most preeminent commandment

in all of the Torah:

28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning
together, and perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, Which
is the first commandment of all? 29 And eSwhy answered him, The first
of all the commandments is: Shema, Yisrael, hwhy our Elohim, hwhy is one.

Jewish tradition divides this Commandment into two separate parts: The Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4) and the
Vhavta (Deuteronomy 6:5). Since the Messiah made no such division (teaching the entire text embodies the single,
greatest commandment), we will refer to both verses as the Shema.

The Shema is the most preeminent and overarching commandment in all of the Torah,
so that those whose hearts move towards fulfilling this command will also be found
doing the other things which hwhy hasin His great love and wisdomset forth for
our ultimate health and well being. Those who seek to fulfill The Shemawho, like
our forefather Abraham, continually listen for His Voice

will express love for hwhy
that is displayed by loving, guarding, and daily applying His age-abiding Word. The
love for the Torah seen in Tehillim 119 is nothing less than love for hwhy who uttered
those Timeless Words. Yet what do we see when studying the misparim (numbers) for
the Hebrew word dyox/chasid?

= dyox = chasid = kind/reverent one

The Hebrew word dyox / chasid has a full value of 119, while Tehillim 119 most
emphatically shows us the heart and nephesh (soul) of one who is a chasid.
Tehillim/Psalm 119 mentions the various synonyms for the Torah, along with its
numerous subdivisions. And the thing of absolute preeminence seen throughout this
great psalm is the love for hwhy expressed by the reverence and delight with which the
chasid holds forth the Word of hwhy, the Torah.

The Hebrew misparim/numbers, then, have revealed
the key to learning how we might number among
those qualified to be classified before hwhy
with the descriptor dyox / chasid.

Anyone who reverently upholds The Shema loves hwhy and the Word/Torah which He
has spoken; and these are those who number among His dyox/chasid. Living a life
which is based on the certainty (amein/119) of His Eternal Word makes the believer a
chasid before the Throne of hwhy El Elyon.

And it was in reference to the Torah that
the psalmist wrote these world-famous lines:

Psalm 119:105

When Mosheh was on Mount Sinai, great light came forth from the Presence of the
Most High. And in Shemot/Exodus 31, we see the text indicating where Mosheh was,
and what he had been given, while communing with hwhy on Mount Sinai. Through
the Hebrew misparim/numbers, the Spirit reveals more about by the light which
Mosheh was given while communing with hwhy on the mountain:

And when He had made and end of speaking with him
on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh Two Tables of the Testimony,
Tablets of stone, written with the Finger of Elohim.
Exodus 31:18

When once reading this text in English, the Spirit led me to inquire about a greater
meaning behind the phrase on Mount Sinai: Was there more to these words when
seen in the original Hebrew Scriptures? And what might their connection be to the
absolutely profound things that took place at that locale? So the phrase was later
studied in the Hebrew text and the results were simply stunning. On Mount Sinai is
a phrase consisting of only two words in the Hebrew language:

We immediately see there is a significant connection between the light of hwhy and
Mosheh being on Mount Sinai. Both the place value and misparim value of the
Hebrew word for on Mount, or on the Mount, are identical to the place value and
misparim value for the Hebrew word rwa/ur/light:

(mv) 207 = (200) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur/light

The Hebrew misparim/numbers clearly show us why the Torah is called the light of
hwhy. Mosheh was on Mount (27/207) Sinai, when he received the light of hwhy given
through the Torah. The light (27/207) given to Mosheh on the mountain (27/207) is
the very light which the Spirit of hwhy writes on our hearts and minds as we abide in
His Presence during times of reverent prayer and meditation. No wonder the psalmist
could write about the Torah being the light of hwhy:

So we will proceed to study some of the major topics in Tehillim/Psalm 119 in light of
how this great song of worship identifies the life and the heart of anyone who is a
dyox/chasid in the Courts and Presence of hwhy.

The Chasid Seeks hwhy While He May be Found
Through the prophet Isaiah, hwhy said this about the need for all to seek Him while He
may still be found:

6 Seek hwhy while He may be found; call upon Him
while He is near: 7 let the lawless forsake his way, and the
unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to hwhy,
and He will have chesed upon him; and to our Elohim,
for He will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7

There are many who are only inclined to seek hwhy earnestly during times of severe
affliction and extreme difficulty. When things are going well, their thoughts of loving
and serving the Most High may only be kindled for few hours at a weekly worship
service. Our Creator and Redeemer deserves far better. And the problem with waiting
until times get bad before seeking hwhy is that He is often not truly or fully found when
things finally get rough. And more than one warning indicates that this may well be
the case;

it is possible that waiting to seek hwhy will result in one being too late to
avail any spiritual benefit. In contrast to those who largely have no thoughts of Elohim
(unless there are dire needs and circumstances), the chasid earnestly seeks hwhy daily
without broken stride. These are believers who seek hwhy from a heart which hungers
and thirsts for the Presence of the Living Elohim; such a heart cries out to Him through
times of continual and consistent prayer, fasting, and worship. Psalm 32 indicates this
is the heartbeat of the chasid:

Because of this, let every one that is dyox / chasid
pray to You at a time when You may be found: surely
in the flood of great waters they will not reach him.
Tehillim/Psalm 32:6

The chasid prays to hwhy in a time when He may be foundmeaning, regularly and
long before anything occurs that could be classified as an emergency, a disaster, or
a tragedy. For those who love hwhy, seeking Him really has nothing to do with the
difficulties of life. The chasid prays to hwhy and seeks Him on a regular, daily basis
because that person desires the Awesome and Light-Filled Presence of hwhy El
Shaddai above all else. Readers are encouraged to confirm the Hebrew word

translated as seek/seeking is closely associated with fasting and prayer.

righteousness (that is, to seek Him with the whole heart)

consistent fasting with prayer. Tehillim 119 speaks of the chasid who authentically
seeks hwhy with a whole heart:

Blessed are they that keep His testimonies,
that seek Him with the whole heart.
Tehillim / Psalm 119:2

With my whole heart have I sought You:
let me not wander from Your commandments.
Tehillim / Psalm 119:10

Numerous other Scriptures in Tehillim 119 indicate the chasid consistently seeks hwhy
with special and essential times of fasting (with prayer):

My nephesh cleaves to the dust:
give me life, according to Your Word.
Tehillim / Psalm 119:25

Due to the psalmists mention of the word dust, we believe this last text also refers to
fasting and prayer. During their times of seeking hwhy with fasting-derived humility,
men of old almost always incorporated laying down in the dust and ashes.

And there are still other fasting-related texts seen in Tehillim 119. While fasting is an
essential part of personal repentance, it further pleases hwhy when we have grown to

the point of expressing concern over the lawlessness of those who do not walk in the
commandments of His Torah:

Streams of water run down mine eyes,
because they keep not Your Torah.
Tehillim / Psalm 119:136

This particular text (i.e., verse 136) shows one result of the fasting-derived humility

which will spring forth from the life of the dyox / chasid. Not only does this reveal
something that goes far beyond personal repentance, but the Hebrew misparim
(numbers) do not leave us without the Commentary of hwhy on this verse. The
Hebrew word for fast/fasting is Mwu/tsme. And the misparim value (mv) of
Mwu/tsme/fast/fasting has the very same value as the number of the verse (136) in
which reference to fasting appears:

(mv) 136 = (40) M + (6) w + (90) u = Mwu/tsme/fast/fasting

We know this is an Inspired result since the verse numbers in Tehillim 119an
acrostic psalmhave actually been numbered in the Hebrew by Inspired Design. Each
of the twenty-two sections (one for each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew ALEPH-BET)
has eight verses. The first section of eight verses is ALEPH ( a ), and in Hebrew, all
eight of these verses begin with words which themselves begin with ALEPH ( a ); the
second section of eight verses is BET ( b ), and in Hebrew, all eight of these verses
begin with words which themselves begin with BET ( b ); the third section of eight
verses is GIMEL ( g ), and in Hebrew, all eight of these verses begin with words which
themselves begin with GIMEL ( g ); of course, this continues through all 22 letters of the
ALEPH-BET, resulting in 8 x 22 = 176 total verses for Tehillim 119.

But back to fasting and the chasid of hwhy: That there is a direct connection between
fasting and the chasid is yet more evident when we see that both words (dyox / chasid
and Mwu/tsme/fast/fasting) have an identical place value (of 37):

37 = (13) M + (6) w + (18) u = Mwu/tsme/fast/fasting


37 = (4) d + (10) y + (15) o + (8) x = dyox = chasid/reverent one
Fasting-derived affliction and humility will transform the heart, the mind, and the life
of the sincere seeker. In the Hand of the Sovereign Potter, those who, thus, seek Him
will become something they would have never been otherwise. We will later revisit
these values and see additional evidence that fasting-derived wisdom and humility are
very real, inspired, and tangible results which the Spirit produces in the lives of all
those who seek hwhy.

Moving onward, yet another fasting-related text is found in verse 83 of Psalm 119:

Though I have been like a wineskin in the smoke,
Your statutes I have not forgotten.
Tehillim/Psalm 119:83

In his afflictions, the chasid sought hwhy through much fasting and prayerwith the
result that even his skin had become shriveled and dry (as would an animal skin in the
smoke). That the context here (Psalm 119:83) is fasting-related may be seen from the
suffering of Job and well as from Psalm 102. The entire context of the Book of Job is
fasting-related

and we see the prophet earnestly sought for the Presence of hwhy
across the duration of his extended afflictions as recorded in that account. And we
recount what Job said in the midst of his fasting and trials:

My skin is turned black, and peeled off me,
and my bones are burned with heat. 31 Thus, my lyre is attuned
to mourning, and my flute to the noise of those who weep.
Iyob/Job 30:30-31

Those were times of great affliction for the prophet, and Iyob (Job) sought hwhy by
fasting across a deeply trying period of time. The psalmist, likewise, spoke of the
physical effects which fasting had upon him as he sought hwhy during an immense trial
(note the similarities between this and the previous two texts):

1 hwhy, may You hear my prayer, and let, my cry for help, to You,
enter in. 2 Do not hide Your face from me, in the day when I am in
distressbend down to me Your ear; in the day when I call, speedily
answer me. 3 For consumed in smoke are my days, and my bones,
like a burning mass, are scorched through; 4 smitten like herbage, so
is my heart dried up, for I have forgotten to eat my food. 5 At the
noise of my groaning, my bone, has cleaved, to my flesh: 6 I am like
the pelican of the desert, I have become as an owl among ruins. 7 I
have watched and have become like a bird sitting alone upon a
housetop. 8 All the day have my enemies reproached me, and they
who are mad against me, by me, have sworn. 9 For I have eaten
ashes like bread and my drink, I have mingled with my tears. 10
Because of Your indignation and Your wrath: for You have lifted me
up, and cast me down. 11 My days are like a shadow extended, and I
wither as green herbage. Psalm 102:1-11

The chasid responds to trials and difficulties before hwhy with the affliction and
humility that may only be brought about through times of fasting (with prayer). The
chasid will allow no difficulty to divert him from seeking the Face of the Most High.
And as we fast and pray, Ruach hwhy

abides with increasing powergiving

increasing wisdom and revelation to all who seek Elohim. Because of all this, the
chasid is personally taught by the Spirit of the Most High.

The Chasid is Personally Taught by hwhy
Those who seek hwhy by fasting and prayer are also blessed to know and receive His
personal instruction from the Age-Abiding Word. In numerous places, the psalmist
wrote of the secret counsel which the chasid obtains from the Presence and Spirit of
hwhy:
From Your judgments, I have not
turned aside, for You have taught me.
Tehillim/Psalm 119:102

My lips will pour forth praise,
for You have taught me Your statutes.
Tehillim/Psalm 119:171

And the chasid who wrote Tehillim 119 also offered many prayers which indicate (or
clearly imply) he was continually being taught by the Most High Himself. One such
prayer is seen beginning in verse 124:

124 Deal with Your servant according to Your
lovingkindness/chesed, and teach me Your statutes.
125 I am Your servant: give me understanding,
that I may know Your testimonies.
Psalm 119:124-125

In many other places, the chasid is either seen offering petitions to be taught by hwhy
or making requests to be given yet more understanding in the Torah:

Teach me, hwhy, the way of Your statutes, and I will
keep it unto the end. 34 Give me understanding, and I will
guard Your Torah; yes, I will observe it with my whole heart.
Psalm 119:33-34

Blessed are You, hwhy: teach me Your statutes.
Psalm 119:12

Open my eyes, and I will behold
wonderful things out of Your Torah.
Psalm 119:18

upright, but we can be sure that such inspired petitions for understanding and

revelation will be marvelously answered in the life of any chasid who makes his
requests known before hwhy.

The Chasid Values the Word/Torah of hwhy Far Above the Greatest of Riches
What would readers do if given an ancient map pinpointing the location of a large
treasurea massive find of gold, silver, and jewels having immense value? For the
sake of the analogy, let us imagine the discovery would bring its finder $50,000,000.
Thats right; fifty million dollars. To what lengths might any of us go to travel abroad
and to locate such a life-changing find? Yet as much good as we might imagine
ourselves to be able to do with such riches, there are indescribable treasures of
wisdom and knowledge hidden in the Word of hwhy which have a value that is vastly
beyond the meager amount of temporal wealth just quantified at 50 million dollars. So
which riches would you rather mine in this short lifetime? Which are of the greatest
value? The temporal richesas great as they might bemay be of benefit in this
short lifetime, but the spiritual riches of wisdom and knowledgetreasures waiting to
be found in His Wordwill yield a reward across many eons of time in the
approaching Kingdom of hwhy. Yet the spiritual riches hidden in the Word of hwhy
may only be accessed by those who walk with the Mashiach.

Hidden within the
Word of hwhyand waiting for kings-in-the-making to discover them

are the
Infinite Riches of Wisdom and Knowledge

emanating from the Presence of the Most
High. And to what lengths should a person go to assure the fullest access to such
indescribably profound treasures of absolutely inestimable spiritual worth? If you
have never expressed itto yourself, to others, and to the Most High Himselfa faith-
filled acknowledgement

of these indescribable riches would be an excellent
beginning. Then (as we must all do) proceed with times of reverent fasting and prayer
as you seek hwhy for better understanding and for a greater leading of His Spirit.

The chasid knows there is simply no comparison between the eternal, vertical riches
hidden in the Word of hwhy and the temporal, horizontal treasures of gold, silver, and
precious stones:
I have rejoiced in the way of
Your testimonies, as over all riches.
Tehillim/Psalm 119:14

The Torah of Your mouth is better
to me than thousands of gold and silver.

The Chasid is Blessed by the Wisdom of the Torah/Hebrew Language
We earlier mentioned the relationship between fasting and the chasid; and we saw that
both words have a place value of 37:

Yet the fasting-derived wisdom of the chasid is herein revealed: for 37 is also the place

This provides us an amazing link to the wisdom which hwhy gives to those who are

Fasting-derived humility will eventually lead to fasting-derived wisdom:

from His Word, He promises to honor us by shining upon us yet more of His light and
splendor. Blessed be His Name who is worthy of all praise and honor.

The Chasid Has a Heart Lifted in Continual Worship, Awe, and Thanksgiving
Walking before hwhy and being taught of Elohim leaves the chasid in awe of Elohim,
whose Spirit fills our hearts with joy, thanksgiving, and worship. When properly
understood, we begin to realize no New Covenant Scripture nullifies the Teachings of
the Torah.

While the giving of thanks from a heart filled with the Torah is nothing
less than what we see in Tehillim 119, Shaul wrote of the very same thing in his letter
to the Colossians:

Let the word of the Messiah dwell in you richly;
in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another

In the midst of an ever-changing world, the believer can always sing and rejoice in the
unchanging Word and the unchanging character of the Most High. The Scriptures give
us true hope because the Word of Elohim is a certainty (amein/119), and in this
certainty we can trust with hearts that are always rejoicing.

The Mashiach: The Ultimate Chasid and Our Enduring Example
This section is easily regarded to be the Grand Finale of the present study. All that we
have spoken about the chasid of hwhy was exemplified by the Mashiach:

eSwhy the Messiah upheld the Torah and He loved
the Word of Elohim above all others. He prayed to hwhy
continuallyin a time when He could be found. And being
without sin, the Messiah had a perfectly whole and circumcised heart.

In Hebrew, the word for circumcise/circumcised is lwm/mol, and it has a full value of

It is important to establish this value of 107 before we study the first mention in
Scripture of the Urim (meaning Lights) and Thummim (meaning Perfections). In
Shemot/Exodus, Mosheh was directed to prepare Aharon for wearing the Urim and
Thummim on his heart before he went into the presence of hwhy to intercede for
Yisrael:
And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim
and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aharons heart in his
going in before hwhy: and Aharon shall bear the judgment of the
children of Yisrael upon his heart before hwhy continually.

For now, we take special note of two things; first, that the Urim and the Thummim
were to be upon Aharons heart when he prayed; and secondly, Aharon was haCohen
haGadol, the Great Priest (a title often translated as the High Priest). Through
the Hebrew misparim/numbers, the Spirit teaches us that being a chasidoffering
ministry-service before hwhy with a circumcised heartis also the key (and the
prerequisite) to believers reflecting the light and the perfection embodied by the Urim
and the Thummim. Because of His circumcised heart, it is the Messiahthe Great
Priest after the order of Melchi-tzedekwho now possesses the Urim and Thummim
above all other priests who were before Him. In the above Scripture, the Hebrew text

We move onward to another text related to the Urim an the Thummim. This is the
blessing of Mosheh over Levi and the Thummim is mentioned first:

And of Levi, he said, Your Thummim and
your Urim are for the man who is your chasid
Deuteronomy 28:30

Is the Mashiach (the Messiah) the Man who is the Chasid of Levi? The Great Priest
(High Priest) near the outset of the Exodus from Egypt was Aharon. And the above
text certainly speaks of haCohen haGadol, the Levitical High Priest. He would have
been a chasid among the of Tribe of Levi. Yet Mosheh (a Levite) was also named a
priest;

and not only so, he was a priest with even more authority than Aharon, his
brother. And this is the testimony which hwhy spoke over Mosheh:

than his brother, Aharon, we believe the prophet Mosheh was of another priesthood
altogether. All evidence, then, indicates Mosheh was a Melchi-tzedek/King Priest.

And this is fitting since Mosheh was a prophetic picture/forerunner of the Messiah

Who has the ultimate right, as the High Priest, to wear/bear the Breastplate before the
Face of hwhy? And of whom did this Breastplate speak/foretell/prophesy? The Urim
and Thummim were set within the Breastplate worn by the Great Priest. This is the
Scripture that recounts Mosheh placing the breastplate on Aharon:

Thummim. In this age, believers abiding under the authority of eSwhy haMashiach
the High Priest after the Order of Melchi-tzedekare given gifts of the Spirit to
further manifest the Name of hwhy. All evidence indicates these spiritual gifts are the
earthly manifestation, at this present time, of the Urim and the Thummim.
Yaacov/James wrote every good and perfect gift (Thummim) comes down from the
Father of Lights (Urim):
Every good giving, and every perfect gift is from
above coming down from the Father of lightswith
whom is no alternation, nor shadow cast by turning:
James 1:17

And in yet another place, we are taught the gifts of the Spirit are provided to equip
believers for better service as we all contribute towards growth in the favor and
knowledge of hwhy:

11 And He gave some apostles, and some, prophets, and some,
evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers; 12 for the perfecting
of the set apart ones, for the work of ministering, for the building up of
the body of the Messiah: 13 till we all attain to the unity of the faith,
and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a full grown man,
to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Messiah

Such gifts, if they are authentic, shine forth the great Light of hwhy from above; and
the goal/result of such light is the perfection of the believers. These light-filled gifts
are evidence that the Messiah now shines forth in the presence of the Father with the
Urim and the Thummim. In the opening lines of this contemplation over gifts of the
Spirit, it was said that these miraculous workings are bestowed upon believers to
manifest the Name of hwhy. This is in keeping with the promise of the Messiah to
continue declaring the Fathers Name to His talmudim/taught ones

death, resurrection, and ascension. There are many who still imagine the prayer for
our daily bread

is a petition for physical, earthly sustenance. But the context of the
Messiahs teaching indicates otherwise. For eSwhy teaches us not to take concern over
what we will eat, or drink, or wear:

Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or,
What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:31

So a prayer for our daily bread has nothing to do with physical food. That the Spirit
imparts loaves of spiritual bread (based on the petition for our daily bread) becomes
clear when we see the context of praying in the Spirit:

5 And He said to them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall
go to him at midnight, and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have
nothing to set before him; 7 and he from within shall answer and
say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with
me in bed; I cannot rise and give you? 8 I say to you, Though he will
not rise and give him because he is his friend, yet because of his
importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needs. 9 And I
say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened to you. 10 For every one that asks
receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be
opened. 11 And of which of you that is a father shall his son ask a
loaf, and he give him a stone? or a fish, and he, for a fish, gives him

Messiah? We recall that the Lechem Panimtranslated as Bread of the Presence
was something which always remained before hwhy:

And you shall set upon the table bread of
the Presence before Me always.

This was bread that could be partaken of by those who drew near. But could this bread
possibly be related to the daily bread for which the Messiah teaches us to pray as we
seek first the Kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness? In Hebrew, the Presence
Bread is two words, and they appear as seen below:

Bread Faces is typically translated as Bread of the Presence; but we also point out
the plural aspect of this word. And what does the Spirit reveal from the numbers of
this phrase?

The full value of Presence Bread is 345. This is a most significant number since the
Hebrew for haShem/the Name has a misparim value of 345:

As we draw near in prayer, we are blessed to partake of the Presence Bread (345):
hwhy imparts to us His Spirit and the gifts we need to serve Him. Is there any
question, then, that these gifts will manifest more of the Name (345), His Qadosh
Name, to the world? The Bread which we need above all other things is the Bread of
His Presence; this Bread may only be found before the Face of the Most High as we
draw near in reverent prayer. During our times of drawing near to Elohim in prayer,
we must seek and find that Bread. And if we have acquired this Bread while abiding
in His Presence, hwhy will give us all other things as well.
