Wastewater
In addition to resolving water supply and potable water
treatment problems, Energoprojekt-Hidroinzenjering
successfully deals with the problems of used water
and stormwater collection and disposal, as well as
with treatment of urban and industrial wastewaters.
Based on the designs prepared by Energoprojekt-
Hidroinzenjering, dozens of such structures (around
30 wastewater treatment plants alone) have been
constructed or their construction is in progress.
Apart from the preparation of investment-technical
documents, Energoprojekt-Hidroinzenjering has pro-
vided special engineering-consulting services and
the majority of the wastewater treatment plants were
built as turn-key projects.

Environment
Energoprojekt-Hidroinzenjering has always considered
environment protection to be a key criterion in the plan-
ning and designing of structures within its scope of activi-
ties and made solving of environmental problems one of
its vital business and development interests.
Such an approach resulted in numerous environmental
impact studies and detailed analyses of infrastructure, hydro-
power and water management structures and systems.
Apart from that, a series of complete designs have been
prepared for the purpose of resolving the problems
related to solid household and industrial waste deposi-
tion, sanitary protection of water sources, reservoirs and
watercourses, soil pollution, expansion of open pit
coalmines etc.
