Welcome Back. By now you may have received your recertifcation notice. You have
90 days prior to your anniversary date to begin the Select re-certifcation process
and you will notice your status has moved from Approved to Re-Cert. Once you
complete the SMB Specialization exams, please submit your application in the CSApp
tool. Your company will be automatically approved if all of the requirements are met.
As a reminder, here are the easy steps for you to renew your Select Certifcation.
1. You should already have one, however, if for any
reason you do not, now is the time to apply for a
Cisco.com user ID

https://tools.cisco.com/RPF/register/register.do.

You will receive an automated response with the
assigned ID.

A Cisco.com ID allows you access to all of the partner
tools, resources, and events available on Cisco.com and
Partner Central.

Step 6. Checklist for Successful Renewal
This is one of the most important steps to ensure
that you and your company gain access to all
partner tools and resources.
1. Visit Partner Self Service (PSS) at http://tools.cisco.
com/WWChannels/GETLOG/login.do to associate your-
self with your company. Being associated with a partner
company grants you partner-level access to tools and
resources. You may also update your profle information
here.
2. You can download a Partner Self Service User Guide
from within the application, or view a Quick Reference
Guide at http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/765/tools/
pss/Reference.html.

Step 6. Checklist for Successful Renewal
The same individual can fll both the account
manager and engineer roles. Once an individual
has passed an exam, it can take up to ten business
days for the results to appear in the Partner Self
Service (PSS) (http://tools.cisco.com/WWChannels/
GETLOG/login.do) and CSApp tools (http://tools.
cisco.com/WWChannels/cpapp/selectGeo.do).
Both exams must be passed before the SMB
Specialization application can be submitted. See
Step 4: Renew Your SMB Specialization to learn
how to complete the Certifcation and Specialization
Application.

Here are two tips to ensure that the exam
data moves quickly from the testing center
into Ciscos databases:
Ensure that all people taking exams are
associated with your company in Partner
Self Service (PSS).
Each individual needs to sign the Cisco
Career Certifcation and Confdentiality
Agreement in order for the exam to show
as completed. This agreement can be
signed online.

If the partner has validated that the individual is
associated with the company and the certifcation
agreement has been signed, however, individuals
who have passed tests are still not showing in the
system, open a case with the Partner Relationship
Team (PRT) online at www.cisco.com/go/prt.

1. Visit SMB University at http://www.cisco.com/go/
smbuniversity to review learning maps for the Cisco

SMB Specialization role.
2. Plan which people will fll the required roles (account-
manager and engineer), and create a training plan for
them to ensure that they meet any prerequisites and
know which courses and exams they must take.
3. Prepare for the required exams by taking the recom-
mended SMB Specialization training courses, avail-
able in e-learning format. Instructor-led training is
also available in some areas.
4. Once desired training is complete, register
for the online exams, administered globally by
PearsonVue at http://www.pearsonvue.com/cisco/
online/. You can access the exams at www.testrac.
com/pvuecisco.
This website includes easy-to-follow information on
how to register and schedule exams. If the test taker
already has a Cisco.com user ID, they should have
it available. If the individual does not have a Cisco.
com ID, one will be sent upon completion of their frst
exam. A TesTrac ID is also required and will be issued
the frst time the person registers for an exam. The
same TesTrac ID is used for all exams taken by that
individual. If the test taker has not previously tested
with Cisco, they will need to create an account on the
TesTrac site where the ID will be issued.
The Cisco SMB Specialization requires two roles:
one account manager (AM) and one engineer (EN).
The two required SMB Specialization exams are:

650-175 SMBAM: SMB Specialization
for Account Managers

650-180 SMBEN: SMB Specialization
for Engineers
