GEOGRAPHICAL DATA
The AD is situated 13.5nm NE of the
capital. Terrain around the AD is flat and
partially covered with fine sand. High
terrain rises about 12nm NW of the AD.

WEATHER
WINTER (OCT-MAR):
Dry continental climate dominated by the
continental high and the dry NW-monsoon
with passages of depressions from Central
China and Siberia which may bring moderate snowfalls from NOV-MAR.

Dry Monsoon:
In early SEP pressure rises rapidly over
northern China and Mongolia which
causes sudden strong cold winds from
NNW for some days/month with calm
periods in between. This monsoon is not a
constant flow but a periodical outbreak of
cold air reflecting the changes of position
and strength of the continental anticyclone
in winter, which persists until early APR.
Weather associated with the NNW
monsoon: Generally clear, cold (mean
temperature -3C, DEC-FEB) and
extremely dry (mean relative humidity
below 50%).

GENERAL

De-icing Instructions
11.3 Contact TWR before push-back and then
follow the ATC instructions to taxi to the
deicing holding position.
11.4 When the LED board of FOLLOW ME
vehicle is lighted, aircraft shall follow the
vehicle to the de-icing position.
11.5 Before deicing stop aircraft following
marshalmans instructions: shut down
engines: then loosen brake upon the
notification of having been blocked from
maintenance person.
11.6 After de-icing fill the document and sign the
record, and then contact TWR for start-up
clearance.

ACFT arriving must not exit via
TWY A0 and A1.
HS5 Intersection TWY M, Z4 and D3)
ACFT taxiing from TWY S4 and F to
D3 avoid turning early and entering
stands 816, 817 by mistake.
HS6 (TWY F between TWY W3 and A1)
ACFT must not stay in this area
when exiting via W3, as may result
in conflict with ACFT taxiing from
