Introduction
Educational Institutes are challenged to drive student admission, enrollment, attendance, and
secure students and employee files, enhance program quality, meet internal accountability
requirements, while working under intense economic and competitive pressure. Proposed
Educational Institute Management System (EIMS) is an integrated solution which takes care of
the various activities of an educational institution.

The solution is available as a basic integrated application upgradeable to an Intranet / Internet
system. The total system will acting as like fully paper less system. The web based features
enables the faculty, students as well as the management to interact actively. Students services is
enhanced by allocating user name and password whereby they can view their mark lists,
attendance, syllabus, SMS Notification, important notes and other information related to their
course on the browser.

The application generates various reports useful to the management, faculty or an end user each
module separately. Any specific report can be customized as per client requirement. Depending
on the type of user access, provision is given on the Intranet to view reports for student, faculty,
management or general staff.
Provision for Internet reports for parents/guardians to view their student status on fees,
schedules, exams results, internal and external marks, attendance is provided and can be viewed
on the internet.

Advantages of EIMS:
The EIMS is more effective in the education institution as it provide certain advantages over the
conventional software solutions available now-a-days.
Technologically EIMS is more beneficial as it does not require any Licence Software other than
EIMS. Developed in Linux Apache MySQL and PHP EIMS can run under Linux Environment
or Windows Environment as well.
EIMS runs under Web Browser hence any device having a web browser can use EIMS.
