The proposed website is a company website which purpose is to make the company be
known, connect to costumers through internet, and be accessible anytime, anywhere. It is to
make transactions much easier and faster through the use of a web application. The proposed
website will be using a web application for online ordering of products and reservation for
services.
New Emrian Hardware is a primary source of construction and hardware materials in the
locality of Gloria. It was established on January 1982 as single proprietorship owned by M.
Antonio S. Yang. After seeing the need for a local supplier of hardware items and construction
materials for developing municipality, Mr. Yang put up the hardware store at the very heart of
the municipality. It was the first and only hardware store established in the Municipality of
Gloria, Oriental Mindoro.
On 2007, the management of the hardware business was hands down by Mr. Yang to one
of his daughter, Karen Yang-Bernabe. Until now, the company has maintained to be one of the
major providers of all kinds of hardware and construction materials. Recent notable projects
supplied by the company include the supply of materials for the renovation of flying school at
Pinamalayan Airport by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, supply for the various
projects of Municipality of Gloria, supply for the construction of TESDA Bldg. by AS Yang
Construction, etc. Monthly, they have approximately more or less 300 customers and an estimate
of 3600 customers annually.
The proposed website is a commercial-site which offers information about the company
that will be shown through a Home tab. It will have a Whats New tab that would allow user
to see discounts, promos and other events on which the company will be involved. It would have
a Product List tab where web audience will be able to see the products the company is selling,
including a web application that will be developed where web audience can order online or
reserve a product/service. And a Contact Us tab where they can easily reach to the
managers/owners of the company. The proposed website can send e-mails to the customers,
reserve and transact products/services online. It will have a search box wherein viewers can
easily search through the whole page.
