General Conditions:
1. Only pass out candidates in their respective course need to apply. Candidates who have passed their
qualifying course before 2011 need not apply.
2. All qualifications must be from a Recognized Institutes / Universities.
3. The duration of the training will be one year.
4. Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for which they should execute a
contract.
5. The trainees will not confer any right whatsoever on the Recruitee for any regular appointment in C-DAC
Thiruvananthapuram or any other unit.
6. Ex-Apprentices or current Apprentices in any organization/firm are not eligible.
7. Those candidates with one year or more job experience either in Govt./Public/Private sectors are not
eligible for Graduate/Technician Apprenticeship.
8. Upper age limit is 30 years. (33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST, 40 years for PH candidates.
9. Reservation to SC/ST/OBC/PH applicable.
10. Candidates should attach true copies of certificates of their qualifications acquired from
SSLC/SSC/AISSC onwards. Copy of community certificate (if belongs to SC/ST), Non-Creamy layer
certificate (if belongs to OBC), Disability certificate (if PH candidate) also to be furnished.
11. Sandwich degrees/diplomas, private degree/diploma, short term courses are not acceptable.
12. Only Indian nationals need apply.
13. Candidates are required to apply ONLINE between May 30, 2014 and June 13, 2014.

14. Applications are to be submitted ONLINE only through Internet. Other modes are not accepted.
