DEMAND THE IMPOSSIBLE

Trouble comes not always because we have taken any wrong step but because we liv
e in a complex and contradictory world. When you cannot seem to get above your s
ituation, it is in your best interest to get above your fears. Use your faith to
put a demand. Faith does not ask for possible things, it demands the impossible
. Faith is in one sense a divine gift and in another sense a human act. You have
a part to play just as God has a part to play. It is not our mere wishful think
ing that brings our ambition to pass but a rightful focus. It takes focused acti
on, personal discipline and a lot of effort every day to make things happen. Avo
id the trap of fear which increases the size of your enemy mentally. When you co
nfess what you see, you are thus magnifying the problem above your Heavenly Fath
er. If you doubt Gods Word, you doubt God because you believe in something contra
ry to that Word. God is greater than all. There is no need He cannot meet. Mans c
ondition does not change Gods position. God still is who He says He is; just give
Him a chance to prove it.
Zechariah 8:6, This is what the Lord of Heavens Armies says: All this may seem imp
ossible to you now, a small remnant of Gods people. But is it impossible for me?
says the Lord of Heavens Armies.

HE CAN REBUILD YOU AGAIN
Jeremiah 31:3-4 "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with
unfailing kindness. I will build you up again, and you will be rebuilt
Is your life in a miserable state? Has everything fallen apart? Jesus Christ can
rebuild you again. The greatest love Jesus has given us is the opportunity to c
orrect our mistakes. Rebuilding you requires your attention. In John 5:5-14 ther
e was a man who was an invalid for 38 years. Jesus Christ came to him and said, D
o you want to get well? In other words, do you want to be rebuilt? Do you want to
remain in this deplorable state or be rebuilt and serve the living God? Jesus C
hrist knew the man was a free moral agent who could say, Yes or No and that was why
He asked him the question. The invalids attention was required for him to be rebu
ilt. After giving his attention to Jesus Christ as one who wanted to receive of
Him, Jesus Christ probed his mind and saw a willingness to change and said to hi
m, Get up! Pick up your mat and walk. At once the man picked up his mat and began
to do what he had not been able to do for over 38 years. He was rebuilt. Later J
esus found him at the temple and said to him, See, you are well again. Stop sinni
ng or something worse may happen to you. Sin no more means, the man must have made
mistakes, bad decisions and wrong choices with his life that brought about his 3
8 year predicament but Jesus Christ gave him the opportunity to correct his mist
akes and because he gave God his attention, he was forgiven, rebuilt and started
over. No matter how messed up your situation may look like, no matter how broke
n down your life is, when you give your attention to Jesus Christ, the author of
life, He will rebuild you and turn your mess into a message, your condition int
o a testimony and you will praise the living God.
Prayer: O Lord, you have loved me with everlasting love, you have drawn me with
unfailing kindness; build me up again and I will be rebuilt, in Jesus name.
