ANONYMOUS FUNCTIONALITY
The following features will be available regardless if the user is logged in or not:

Profiler
The Profiler will be made available to research requirements to starting a new license in Ajman. The user will
enter in, at a minimum, the Legal Type (Establishment, PJSC, LLC, etc.) as well as the business activities they are
interested in. They will receive steps, requirements, and fees necessary based on their selections. The user will
have the option to email the results if desired.
Map Based Functionality
Once the results are displayed, the user can choose to view the allowed Districts within Ajman for the requested
information. This assumes the Ajman ESRI ArcGIS has the necessary District GIS layers and that the activity data
provided by AM has mapped commercial activities with district information.

License Search
A user could search for a license based on its name. The returned results can display details about each licensed
business such as activities, business type, etc.
Map Based Functionality
Once the results are displayed the user can select to see a map view of the results. This assumes licenses and
permits are linked to parcels/plots and that the Ajman ESRI ArcGIS supports this.

Permit Search
A user could select a permit type to see where the current permit types are occurring. For example, seeing
sales, raffles or promotions and which licenses are having them. The ability to tweet or add a post about a result
could also be added.
Map Based Functionality
Once the results are displayed the user can select to see a map view of the results. This assumes licenses and
permits are linked to parcels/plots and that the Ajman ESRI ArcGIS supports this.

Fine Payment
The user will have the ability to enter in the Violation number and pay for that fine.

Push Notifications
Nearby Promotional Permits
This will be polled every 15 minutes. The system will identify the parcel/plot the user is located in and search for
these record types within that parcel/plot. Assuming the Ajman ESRI ArcGIS supports this and this data is
available on the permits/licenses.

REGISTERED USER FUNCTIONALITY

The following features will be available only once log in occurs:

Manage Applications
The user will see the list of all applications they have submitted with the ability to see the current status of those
application, both the overall status and the current workflow task the application is waiting on. The user can
trigger the following services from here:
Issue a Permit
Renew License
Amend License

Action Center
The user will see a list of items waiting on action for them. The following actions will be available:
Pay Fees Due
Pay Fines Due
Renew a License that is about to expire or expired
View Upcoming Inspections

New License
The user will be able to select creating a new license as a standalone service. The following sections will be
available for this record type:
License Type
o Commercial
o Industrial
o Professional
o Bidayat

Recommendations:
It is recommended document attachments not be utilized on the mobile platform to keep simplicity and
ease of use. Users can attach from the ACA portal or in person instead.
It is recommended Legal Types be limited to simpler types with regards to required fields and
Ownership. If a legal type were to add required field data as compared to other legal types or it would
have more than 3 required ownership details be added, it should be excluded from the list.

Renew License
The user will be able to select renew license from their alert center including commercial, industrial,
professional or Bidayat. The following sections will be available for this record type:

ease of use. Users can attach from the ACA portal or in person instead.

Amend License
The user will be able to select amend license from their management center. The following amendments were
selected to be exposed with the corresponding areas that will be shown to the user. It is recommended that
from the mobile application a user can only select 1 amendment type at a time to simplify the process.

Recommendations:
It is recommended document attachments not be utilized on the mobile platform to keep simplicity and
ease of use. Users can attach from the ACA portal or in person instead.
The following were not considered to be added to the amend process on mobile:
o Change Business Name due to the lengthy process and complexity with multiple rules
o Change Legal Entity due to the complex business rules
o Change Ownership (Partners) due to the need to manage multiple owner types, ownership
percentages, complex business rules

Issue a Permit
The user will be able to request to issue a permit based on a license they are registered to by triggering from the
management center. The following sections will be used:

Business Locator:
Business (Plot) Locator consider as a smart service where the client will be able to inquiry about properties
(shops, office, etc.)
The capability to provide what this site is eligible for and what services can be provide for.
The ability to provide the essential requirements for apply for any license (linked to the profiler service).
Allow public to access maps to identify licensed entities in and around location (current location, or a plot
located from the map).
Additionally, client will have direct access to official social media accounts on (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube).

Appointments Management:
Smart Services that covers requests to Appointment booking, withdrawal, and update appointment. This service
is available to online users through the SharePoint internet portal. the scope of this is only providing a Mobile
interface and integrate it with SharePoint.

To Whom It May Concern Letters

The process of submitted an application to Issue a TWIMC certification and TWIMC certification (free). Those
services are already available on AA, ACA and the mobile version of them will follow the same methodology of
mobilizing the other services (e.g. new licenses, renew licenses. Etc.)

Trade Name Query

Public Smart Services that covers requests to: Register Trade Name: Search to see if the trade name you would
like is available for use. the functionality of this service is already covered in the mobilization of the issuing new
licenses, yet, it has been requested to separate it as a standalone service for the mobile app.

Request to Re-Print a License

This function allows the Client to issue a replacement copy of a valid license, this is linked to Accelas related
process.

Service Agent Complaint

Smart Services that covers requests to: Complaint. The app will allow reporting a complaint for service agent
license.

Complaints & Suggestion

Smart Services that covers requests to: Complaint. The app will allow reporting complaints by scanning /
entering the license ID. Interface for registering consumer complaints related to commodities.

Business directory
Public Smart Services that covers requests to: search for business license, and share location over social
network. Allow public to access maps to identify licensed.

Delegates
Smart Services that covers requests to: Add a new delegate to the license, and renew the delegation

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The scope of the above mentioned services will be verified with the client by the mobile apps vendor. The backend
systems are available and provided by the client backend systems or Accelas under implementation system, with the
needed webservices and interfaces to develop the mobile applications.
The quotation has to provide two options, HTML 5.0 and Native applications (IOS and Android).
The Application must be in Arabic/English.
