Ethical and legal constraints within the media

Why is it important to consider ethical issues when producing media?

There are laws in the Media Industry that prohibit minors to what certain content
under the age restriction such ; language, violence, sexual content or adult themes.
This is why it is important to consider the ethical issues so we do not offend the views
and as this would mean complaints will be sent in.

How is gender represented
in the film?

The effects of gender
stereotypes can not be
underestimated when it comes to
gender in films and television
shows.
Most females are represented as the more emotional and weaker character for
example; damsels in distress where as most men are represented as strong and
superior.
This is because most females prefer comedies and romance where men prefer
action and thriller.

fines, loss of property, loss of freedom, or loss of
employment this would most likely acure if the copyright owner should choose to file
a claim and take the accused to court other wise no legal action would take place.

Penalties of breaking copy right laws an often escalate as the monetary
compensation of time and resources spent tracking and prosecuting the violation swell
as additional money for consideration of wages lost by the copyright owner.
other penalties may include : jail time, community service hours, probation, loss
of job or education privileges, copyright breaking equipment might be confiscated.
