Reflection Paper in Our Group

Planning
Planning is the most important factor that must be considered
prior to doing anything if you are known a possibility to present a
task for the benefit of teaching and learning process not only for
yourself but also for the sake of other people. Moreover, it is
necessary to come up with an organized and well done
presentation.
First, we have to create a lesson plan. This will serve as a
guide for us to complete the presentation well. We all know in our
group that the Lesson Plan must be semi-detailed and check by Dr.
Julie T. Valencia first for some editing.
Second, we have to search or find the appropriate book for our
topic. Maybe this would be an easy task because the Library is
there where we can borrow a book. In addition, we must find and
download other trivia or video to summarize our topic.
Lastly, we have to disseminate the topic to each member of the
group. It is needed to distribute the topic equally and suitable to
their capacity. So that, each member can be able to prepare
themselves and read furthermore.

Preparation

The second step subsequent to planning is presenting. In this
point, our readiness and attentiveness will be tested in front of the
class. This will proved if each member exerted their hundred
percent effort and time in preparing for the presentation.
We also believed in the saying Practice makes perfect like
what we do before our actual presentation. We read our assigned
topic for how many times, used dictionary for unfamiliar terms and
even asked opinions to our classmates.
First, we have to edit the lesson plan. These include the
checking of grammar and spelling errors. Editing the lesson plan
will serve as the final guide to be memorized and followed.
Second, we have to make hand-outs, evaluation and rubrics
for our other classmate. As a result, they can also follow into the
discussion and answer our possible question. This will serve as
their notes that must be review for the upcoming Final Exam.
Lastly, we have to prepare a PowerPoint Presentation. This will
serve as our visual aids and to make the presentation more
interactive. The font must be readable and precise for the presentor,
professor and classmates.

Presenting

Before we end our presentation, we let our student to ask
questions, clarify their doubts in mind and share their thought
about the topic assigned to us.

Our group decided to let the students do a meaningful message
based on the acronym Portfolio. We can test the creativity and
knowledge of our students on our discussion inside the four corners
of the classroom.

Finally, we did a great job especially to the presenters and to the
active participants. We want to acknowledge all the efforts of our
each member in the group North 1. We believe that every member
learned a lot from this unforgettable experience and used in our
future career.
