Lexus is one of the
sponsors of the 2014
Senior Open, said Doug
Berryhill with Lexus. We
will be providing 234 new
Lexus to be used as cour-
tesy vehicles for players
and officials.
Eskridge Lexus has a
VIP Hospitality Villa on
Hole 15 and we are distrib-
uting tickets for it at this
time.
Berryhill said Lexus also
has a tent open to the pub-
lic at the entrance of the
golf course with two new
car models that will be
available to the public this
fall.
In 2008 we had 11 ven-
ues which were corporate
sponsored and this year we
have 25 venues, Ewing
said. He added there is a
shared hospitality venue
called the Champions Club
that a business can still
help sponsor.
The air conditioned villas
(venues) sponsored by cor-
porations are decorated
according to the sponsor-
ing companys wishes.
They may provide furni-
ture, televisions, food or
drinks, and they will be
used for entertaining
employees and clients,
Ewing said. Each company
will decide what type of
service they want to pro-
vide and guests must have
special passes to enter.
There is a Trophy Club
on the 16th hole, which
has a sports bar theme and
attendees can upgrade
their ticket to go inside.
Our goal is to have
everyone show up and
enjoy a great community
event for Oklahoma,
Ewing said.

ter, a person of honor and integrity,
Ricks said, and when interviewed each
one of them had said, I want to make a
difference.
Before taking their oath of office and
receiving their badges, Jeff Richardson,
coordinator of the academy said, The
best thing we are providing the citizens
of Edmond is you.
Four awards were presented. Andrew
Miller received the Academic Award,
the Top Gun Award went to Dakota
Seales, the Leadership Award went to
Andrew Deyager and the Physical
Fitness Award went to Michael
Kennemer.
Kennemer beat Jon Zachary Horn by
one point for the fitness award.
Miller said the hardest part of the
academy was learning to come together
and succeed as a group.
The survival course was a real gut
check, Deyager said. It was a stressful
week but now we know we can be
pushed beyond our limits and survive.
Richardson told audience members
that since they started the academy 20
weeks ago, 48 policemen had been
killed across the United States, making
the training these police officers
received paramount for their future.
Other policemen in charge of the
academy include Kyle Stoy, Randy
Payne and Bryan Weathers.
