Italeaf to list on NASDAQ OMX First North in Stockholm, seeks EUR 2m in pre-listing round
Proprietary Intelligence
Main body :
Italeaf, private Italian holding company in the sector of cleantech and smart innovation, is looking
to raise EUR 2m funds before its listing in Stockholm, Federico Zacaglioni, head of development
and external relations, said.
The listing of Italeaf on NASDAQ OMX First North is expected to take place by the end of July,
the executive said, adding that it will not involve a capital increase.
For the listing, Italeaf is assisted by Mangold Fond Kommission AB as certified adviser. The
financing round is managed by Italeaf internally, Zacaglioni said.
Italeaf would look at Italian and international investors to raise EUR 2m representing approximately
5% of the capital, the executive said. He explained that founder Stefano Neri holds, through two
holding firms, 52% of Italeaf and after the round his share will reduce below 50%.
The raised funds will finance new investments in start-up companies in Italy and abroad and support
the growth of existing portfolio companies, Zacaglioni said. He explained that Italeaf is currently
looking at two investment opportunities one in the agri-food sector and the other in 3D printing.
Italeafs internationalisation will also be supported by the proceed of the round. The company has
two new offices in London and Hong Kong and looks with interest at opportunities in Asia,
Zacaglioni said.
The financing round would allow Italeaf to increase the number of its shareholders to 100 from 31
as required for the listing, the executive said.
Increasing of the financing channels and facilitation of exit strategy for the subsidiaries are among
the reasons for the listing, Zacaglioni said. He explained that Italeaf choose the Stock Exchange in
Stockholm as in Sweden the environment for cleantech and innovation companies is very advanced.
Italeaf, established in the year 2000, has revenues of approximately EUR 5m and 15 employees.
The revenues of the Italeaf group are approximately EUR 70m.
Italeaf's current investments are Italian companies TerniEnergia, GreenLed
Industry, SkyRobotic and WiSave.
