New Functionality
Update bootloader for PB50, PB51, and PW50 printers
PrintSet 4 can update the bootloader for the PB50, PB51 and PW50 printers if they are running
Fingerprint, IPL, or ESC/P. You can find this option in the Firmware Update Wizard.

To download a new bootloader
1. Visit the Intermec website (http://www.intermec.com) and then navigate to your printer
product page.
2. Click the Downloads tab.
3. Download and install the new bootloader.

After updating the bootloader, you must restart your printer in order to complete its installation.
You have two options:

If you are also upgrading your printer to a new firmware version, perform the firmware
upgrade immediately after the bootloader upgrade. Your printer will automatically restart
after the firmware is downloaded.

If you are not upgrading your printer's firmware, manually restart the printer by removing
all power, then restoring power.

Run PrintSet in USB diagnostics mode
You can run PrintSet 4 in a USB diagnostics mode that displays progress and information dialog
boxes as it attempts to add a printer through a USB connection. During normal startup this
diagnostic mode is disabled.

To enable USB diagnostics mode
