A. Rationale : This lesson is designed for 30 students, and using the
Communicative Approach with Silent Way method and Multiple
Intelligence. Some techniques like showing students a picture
and using word chart so that students can make sentences. By
using the approach, method, and technique mentioned above,
I expect that the students will be able to demonstrate their
speaking ability and improve their speaking performance.
B. Goal : Students will be able to demonstrate speaking ability by talking
about occupation and workplace and use the target language in
the daily life.
C. Objectives : By the end of the lesson:
Students will be able to identify some occupations and
workplace by showing some pictures and words chart to
make sentences in the target language with 85% fluency and
accuracy.

- Opening the lesson
The teacher opens the lesson by greeting the students:

The Teacher then introduces the material they will learn by

Activity
Teacher shows some pictures of occupation. (appendix 1)
T : shows some pictures of occupation one by one and gives
signal to the students to say the pictures.
T: shows the pictures randomly and gives signal to the
students to say the pictures.
Then, teacher uses words chart to teach the students to make
sentences. (appendix 3)
T: appoints one by one the words of words chart to guide
students to make sentences
Ss: say the sentences based on teachers guide
Teachers shows some pictures of workplace. (appendix 2)
T : shows some pictures of workplace one by one and gives
signal to the students to say the pictures.
T : shows the pictures randomly and gives signal to the
students to say the pictures.
Teacher uses words chart again to teach the students to
make sentences. (appendix 3)
T: appoints one by one the words of words chart to guide
students to make sentences
Ss: say the sentences based on teachers guide
Then, teacher relates between occupation and workplace.
Teacher gives signal to the students to make sentences by
showing the pictures of occupation first and then showing
the pictures of workplace.

Activity
- Concluding and closing the lesson
The teacher is ready to close the lesson due to the time and
asks students whether they have question or not.

show with his gesture.
