(20 minutes)
1. Teacher tells pupils that
they will read a story
entitled Jumbo the Little
Elephant.
2. Teacher divides pupils into
groups and gives them the
text of the story.
3. Teacher divides the story
for each group.
4. Teacher and pupils read the
story together.
5. Teacher asks a volunteer to
tell the summary of the
story.

each group a paragraph that

the elephants ears.
4. Pupils cut out and combine
the paper to produce The
Enormous Elephants Ear.
