Mama Cuellar must buy her ingredients from el diablo,
said one man after tasting Mamas tamales in disbelief, theyre just too good.
Others said Mama had enchilada sauce in her blood. Some even attest to
witnessing Mama turn avocados into guacamole with a snap of her fingers.
These legends were justied: Mama had 12 children to raise, a house
to maintain & a tamale tienda to grow. So as the demand for Mamas cooking increased,
El Chico was born. Every now & then, youll hear these stories about Mama. Well leave it up
to you to decide whats fact & whats legend.
