Admission to the Ph.D. Programme of eligible !andidates shall be based on inter+ie*s and7or *ritten
e=amination e=!e(t !o#rse !ategory 1&. The !andidates of !ategory 1& shall be admitted after !he!>ing their
eligibility !riteria as s(e!ified in !la#se 2. These !andidates shall be e=em(ted from any Test7Inter+ie*.
In !ase a !andidate does not a!!e(t the offer by (aying the (res!ribed fee by the s(e!ified date, the offer of
admission shall stand a#tomati!ally *ithdra*n, and the admission may be offered to the !andidates in the
*aiting list, if any.
