Letter to Cardinals and Bishops


of the Catholic Church
Public opinion on the Focolare movement is even in the highest Church circles very positive. The
Focolare is seen by many as a renewal and a model of the tomorrow Church. Unfortunately, the reality
is different. Two papal authoriations from the past were gained by a cheat as it was !ept in silence
that there was a different gospel, a different spirit and different Christ "cf. #Cor $$%&' there.

,n the entrance hall of the -ariapoli Centre there was an unusual notice hanging% Bha!ti, way of
love. Unity with .od and universal brotherhood of /induism and Christianity "0ew City $12#11#'.
(nother article mentions that Chiara received several doctorates of honour from /induists and
Buddhists whereat she is also spea!ing about so3called unity and so3called love. 4hat is one to say as
for true love and unity with .od5
,n /induism there is not one /ighest .od, they have a plenty of gods with small g "demons'.
4hat !ind of god or deity is it with which Christianity, according to Chiara, is to ma!e unity5
b' Prem3yoga
Chiara L. has established a so3called prem3yoga "foco3yoga', which is a fruit of the spiritual
syncretism of the Focolare movement. +he pronounced that during her meditation with /induists she
had e6perienced spiritual vibrations. ,n /induism god is not a person but only some !ind of vibration.
,n case this 7vibratile spirit8, which Chiara Lubich received, has penetrated into the whole Focolare
movement which she founded and leads, then it is necessary to publicly repent of it9 "see Four 4ords

-any of those who left the Focolare movement give shoc!ing testimonies. The e63members of
Focolare studied the analysis by ..(. .alanti Ph.). who investigated into the -oon:s sect, a so3called
Unification Church "Church of unity', and in their study they came to a conclusion that over $1
different techni;ues of so3called <brainwashing: are used not only by the -oon:s sect but also by the
Focolare movement. These techni;ues have been described by *. =. Lifton in his boo! 7+tudy of
Brainwashing8.

The founder of the Focolare movement Chiara Lubich receives the *otary award of the Tridentine
(lto (dige +>dtirol #11$. The *otary Club is closely related with Free -asons. ( *otary
representative -r. -attarolo says% 74e have similar aims? we also want unity8 "0ew City @2#11$'.
4hich are those similar aims and what !ind of unity is it that the Focolare movement and this
organiation have in common5
,n Focolare one comes across a confusion of terms, confusion of truth, confusion of spirit.
Because for a false love and unity sin is not called as sin and truth as truth, therefore =esus cannot be
here as the only and e6clusive +aviour and the only way to salvation9 /ere we have to do with a
hidden spirit of the 0ew (ge inside the Catholic Church.
Warning:
The tactics of Focolare is to flee from a direct confrontation with the truth, to mas! heresies and
by means of phrases and psychological manipulation remove those who point at them. ,n this covert

fight every bishop of the Catholic Church has a responsibility to warn in his diocese against this latent
and guileful spirit of =eebel.

Thereby we are publicly calling the founder of the Focolare movement Chiara Lubich, all
bishops, priests, religious as well as believers who are members of this movement, for public
repentance9
ad B) Focolare rule in the Cech Republic
,n #11# the Focolarine Cardinal -. Al! by help of state authorities de facto li;uidated the
Catholic Theological Faculty in Prague. The faithful Catholic professors were dismissed% Fr. A. 4olf
Prof. Th)., Fr. =. Polc Prof. Th). and others. 0ow there are already heresies officially preached here
and immorality propagated. ,n #11B a certain student was twice failed by the e6aminers in his final
e6ams in dogmatic and moral theology because on the base of the /oly +cripture and Catechism of
the Catholic Church #CBD3B@ he said that homose6uality is a sin.
,n #11C Cardinal -. Al! and Cardinal (. +odano, despite a big resistance of the believers,
enforced a liberal Focolarine L. /uE!o as bishop to the forefront of our Byantine Church in Cech
*epublic "C*'. The Communist regime granted him a scientific degree 7professor8 which was granted
only to members of the Communist party, or to collaborators of secret police. ,n C* our Church was a
!ind of variant against the Focolarine liberal dictatorship. /ere @BF of believers are U!rainians and
these were claiming, according to the Gastern canon law, an establishment of a U!rainian Church sui
iuris with a true and faithful Catholic U!rainian bishop. Li;uidation of the orthodo6 spirituality and
usurpation of the rule in our Church was performed by the Focolare movement with an assistance of
state authorities. By help of state authorities li!ewise, Bishop L. /uE!o illegally li;uidated the H+B-
Hrder in Cech *epublic and then too! possession of "stole' all its property for the sa!e of his
e6archate. 0either the protest of the .eneral +uperior nor of the (postolic 0uncio -ons. =. Gnder
succeeded. Hne part of the property stolen from the H+B- Hrder consisted of two real estates
donated by a widow, )r. I.J. 4hen she came to !now that, she applied to Bishop L. /uE!o for a
return of the property. To his cynical attitude she reacted by an indignant letter addressed to the Cech
Gpiscopal Conference "CGC'. /ow was this affair settled by the Focolare leadership in C*5 Bishop L.
/uE!o sent his vicar general and his secretary to the widow, with them also coming the advocate of
Card. -. Al!. They were threatening the old widow and shouting at her that by her letter she offended
a representative of .od on earth and they forced her to dissociate herself from that letter. +he thus for
fear signed a 7declaration on word of honour8 prepared in advance by Bishop L. /uE!o. 4hen, after
they had left, she read in ;uiet a copy of the paper she had signed, she was horrified. (mong other
things it included 7her8 declaration that the property donated to the H+B- Hrder in #11$ and #11C
she wanted to donate to the e6archate and that the H+B- Hrder deceived her. Therefore in presence
of a notary she immediately wrote a declaration of invalidity of an enforced subscription and of a
criminal act "cheat and intimidation' committed by Bishop L. /uE!o and his accomplices. (ccording
to the state as well as ecclesiastical law this criminal offence is covered by sanctions.
Influence of the Focolare in CEC: The seat of chairman has continually been occupied by the
Focolarines only. CGC is thereby paralysed, so that it is unable to react ade;uately and in truth to
demoraliation and liberaliation of the Church. For all that time there has not been a single pastoral
letter written that would bring a clear word on actual problems "historic3critical theology, false respect
for other religions, spread of occultism in a mass measure, homose6uality, abortions, euthanasia,
demoraliation'. There was an art e6hibition in Prague which e6posed a cross with a na!ed woman on
it and also pictures of similar character. Believers as!ed CGC to protest against offending of the
Christian faith. The CGC spo!esman, who interpreted the attitude of Card. -. Al!, pronounced that
7this is a matter of worthful art and those who ta!e offence at it do not have Catholic faith8.
Bishop in the first place has responsibility for true Catholic teaching and sound Catholic morals.
Ket the Focolare leadership is doing ;uite the opposite. (n evidence of this is that at the beginning of
this year #11L C* approved an act of registered homose6ual partnership. The CGC leadership has not
seen to an ade;uate reaction of the Church concerning this moral issue, yet on the contrary, as early as
#11& Fr. =. BalM!, leader of the Pastoral Kouth Centre in Iunratice N Prague &, was withdrawn by

Card. -. Al! from that function as well as from the parish for the reason that he publicly e6pressed
himself against homose6uality. The conse;uence of this CGC "Focolare' policy is that within a period
of ten years the number of believers in C* has decreased from B to & millions.
4hat is most mean and wily about the Focolare movement is that the leading caste does not
follow the principles and the spirit of the .ospel, but it has the same spirit and methods as the Free
-asons movement. The Focolare movement abuses and deceives its common members who stand as
its base and in sincere faith blindly fulfil the instructions and orders of their superiors. These genuine
faithfuls have not the least idea of the aims and secret intrigues of the ruling caste. /owever, as soon
as one begins critically discerning "syncretism, moral la6ism covered behind the catchphrase about
love, en effort to usurp all power structures in the Church as well as in the state etc.', one is
immediately reproved by words% 7Brother, you are not in unity98 Ket if one still continues his
independent thin!ing, it is followed by sanctions. The spirit of Focolare is the spirit of the world
abusing the Christian terminology. This antichristian spirit which cannot bear genuine repentance and
truth is but displayed in its real loo!s not until some critical situation, and this is then in most cases
already by a sin against the /oly +pirit. The ;uestion here is a conscious denial of the saving truth9

*esponsibility for a li;uidation of the true faith, for a promotion of liberalism at theological
faculties and for a moral devastation of the Church and the nation falls above all on Focolarines Card.

4e propose the following solution towards the healing of CGC and of spiritual life in Cech

$'( rightful step in relation to Cech faithfuls would be a withdrawal of Card. -. Al! for

#'*elocating (rchb. =. .raubner e.g. to PleP as diocesan or au6iliary bishop, or as (postolic
0uncio to some country. ,n his place in Hlomouc appointing non3liberal Fr. A. 4olf Prof.
Th). and li!ewise appointing him cardinal. /ere through the theological faculty he can begin
a renewal of true Catholic faith in the Church. Hne can presuppose opposition and intrigues
from the side of liberal professors "who should be released afterwards'.
The aim of preparation for clerical service is not to form scientific wor!ers, who moreover
have heretic attitudes, but to form faithful and moral spiritual shepherds who will struggle for
eternal salvation of the sheep entrusted99

become a model of a true reform9
