PAMITAJ!: There are two Polish verbs that correspond to the English verb TO GO - I and
CHODZI. The two are not interchangeable, so you should learn which verb is used in which
situations.

The following exercises will help you to learn when to use the verb I (To go). Fill in the
blanks with the proper form of the verb. Use the "special character" buttons below as

PODOBA SI (to like) - present tense 1
Polish has 2 verbs that correspond to the English verb "TO LIKE": PODOBA SI and LUBI.
The two are often interchangeable, but not always. For instance, "She likes you" (as a friend,
etc.) = "Lubi ci", whereas "She likes you" (she thinks you're cute) = "Podobasz jej si".

The following exercise is to help you practice conjugating the verb PODOBA SI. Fill in the
blanks with the proper form of the verb, as required in the context of each sentence. Use the

I or CHODZI? 1
PAMITAJ!: There are two Polish verbs that correspond to the English verb TO GO - I and
CHODZI. The two are not interchangeable. I is used more for specific examples of going
somewhere, while CHODZI is used to talk about general patterns.
