Put on the board images of celebrations such as wedding, karaoke, pub, discotheque, barbeque, dinner, Christmas, new years eve, pool party, beach party. Ask students what they plan to do this weekend or at the end of the year or if they are going to a party. If they do, ask where, when and how they plan to have everything they need, if there is going to be any food or drinking.

Put on the board images of food that you generally eat in celebrations Say the name of each of them and make students repeat them. After that, choose a student that goes to the front and you give him/her, a flashcard with the name of the food. The student has to put it under the image that corresponds to that word.
