Re-ordering paragraphs in the
correct order

Hiyun

Transition to #4 or Wrap-up:
Now that weve learned about
logical connectors and the
coherence of a text, we should
have a 2 minutes talk session to
practice for our oral presentation
on Monday.
3.1 Pre-Stage:
Ask Ss to shout out the terms for
logical connectors
T will explain that its important to
write sentences in a logical order
and connect them in a meaningful
way.
When a paragraph is coherent, it
is easier to find the main idea and
supporting details and see how
they are related.
We link the ideas with logical
connectors
The logical connectors used
within the paragraphs (example
Mozart article) can also be used
between paragraphs to make a
text coherent.

3.2. During Stage:
Ss will get slips of paper of the
letter in textbook p. 42 (the paper
slips will be inside an
envelope).The sequence of the
paragraphs will be mixed up and
Ss (in pairs) will put the
paragraphs in order.

3.3 Post-Stage:
Use these logical connectors in
your writing and in your oral
presentations
It will help you present your ideas
clearly both in writing and
speaking
