Study in tribute to Robert Amadou (1924-2006)

A highly-secret document, was travelling lodge in lodge [1], by manuscript
copies, exclusively [2]. It was not a book to be published, but a sort of doctrinal
statement, on a basis of Judaeo-Christian, developed by Martins of Pasqually,
thaumaturge and founder of a mysterious order: the Knight Masons elected
cons of the universe, rite Masonic high degree Freemasonry and angelic magic.

It is at the dawn of the 20th century that was published for the first time the
whole of the Treaty [3] by Henri Chacornac, 1899 very exactly. Previously, he
did y had that extracts "saucissonns" depending on the mood or the duty of
reserve: Jacques Matter, a few lines in 1862, four years later, Adolphe Frank
published 26 sheets [4] of the same book to Chacornac, or preference, that
retains the history under the name "of Edition Philippon [5]", we will return.

But moving forward with order. Before publishing, prefer manuscripts!

I - Manuscripts

Vigilance! We draw the attention of the reader on the existence of two versions
of the Treaty, listed long (A) and short (B) by a historian of martinism, therefore
Martins de Pasqually first and Louis-Claude de Saint Martin in particular, Robert
Amadou [6]. It is sure to accompany us throughout this article. Because with it,
the modern history of our Treaty has been upset, I'll even write transformed
both discoveries were abundant and rich.

There have been an original manuscript, although it is unlikely that it was
written of the hand Martins Pasqually, but rather dictated [7]. If were there
simply to a synopsis, notes, reflections, the art of the master being lead
making, leaving to his Secretary the ability to write under his control? You never
know! But we know the real title that gave him Martins de Pasqually as early
as 1770: the reintegration and reconciliation of all be spiritual with its first
virtues, strength and power in the personal enjoyment of which will be all be
granted distinctly in the presence of the creator [8].Curiously, this fact is rarely
reported.

The abb Fourni, so dedicated that he was did not have the stature to impose
the necessary corrections to his Dictation on the master. We know, Martins de
Pasqually spoke French with a strong focus [9] which could lead to confusion
[10], from which many barbarismes, errors of spelling and punctuation, slip, or
even of phonetic miscue by the Abbot. Consider without deciding that it is
probably the editor of version B (the short). This is the version circulating most
in the lodges. It is also the safest text because it offers a special property: it is
all copies, including the z Fund, and for cause, the closest version of the "gross"
thinking of Martins. We see poorly Fourni dare to intervene!
Certainly, this is not the case of his brother and successor. Excellent writer,
demanding, the unknown philosopher had EIR, inherent in its education
diplomatic skill, to act with caution and courtesy. The result is a longer text,
version, often explicit, without however raising all obscurities, far from it!
Corollary, according to Robert Amadou, the more finished text is certainly the
most perfect step, what paradox! But this is the best, we will see.
What is proven is more debatable: Saint-Martin in his letter of 4 March 1771 to
Willermoz indicates that "this book important was started by the master for the
advancement of his disciples." "The price is set at fifty ECU covering the salary
of the work of the master and the maintenance of a Secretary to make all
copies". The fact that Saint-Martin not identifies itself not himself as the
Secretary does not mean "to allow suggest or infer" that it is not! Quite the
contrary: a month earlier, he left the army, started full time at the disposal of
Martins of Pasqually The reverse indication of Willermoz, dating from 1821,
for the sole benefit of Grainville and Champolon seems suspicious, as produced
by a man advanced in age, bitter and resentful against the unknown
philosopher.
Confidential written has been seen and understood, was never published and is
therefore transmitted to the Reals-cross by copy. Will also not discuss we
hereinafter only those certified by strong safeguards, having received
observations, studies, and for the majority of their conservation. For the
purpose of simplifying an already well confused situation, we will hold the order
adopted (until the sixth) by Robert Amadou. [11]

1. The manuscript Matter
Manuscript ruled the Matter, Frank then
Philippon research, it does remains
unfortunately that the memory. Origin of first,
nothing other than the statement of its
inventor, Matter: "A rare good fortune brought
down between my hands, in a trip abroad, two
small volumes [12] of the Treaty of don
Martinez." Matter tells us that "form about a
fairly tight writing (sic) 355 pages". At least we
thus have the certainty that made the
acquisition, he did not received legacy of
Frdric Salzmann. Contrary to what has been
said and repeated by many biographers,
Jacques Matter is not the grandson of Frdric
Salzman. He is the grandfather (maternal
Branch) of his wife Marie, ne Goguel. There is
therefore no relationship. We thank Jean-Louis
Boutin for this precision to put an end to a long
series of misunderstandings.
The manuscript has been reduced to ashes
during the second world war. Meanwhile, Grard van Rijnberk has consulted him
since he published a comparative study between this version and the
manuscript Kloss that we soon turn on 16 pages [13]. This fact will be related
with more development in the second part of the study.
2 The referenced manuscript n/a th. 18
A second Treaty is identified in a Masonic private archives Fund, in Geneva, in
the Fund archives of the great independent Priory of Helvetia, or the order of
Chevaliers Bienfaisants of the Holy City. It occurs in two volumes, in the format
18 x 23 cm, 206 and 248 pages, respectively. Writing reveals that it is the work
of a single scribe, "drawn a small regular writing, end of 18th century, or more
likely beginning of the twentieth" [14]. In total, 454 pages.
3. The referenced manuscript n/a th. 19
The third, located in the same Fund than the previous, is recognized as "come a
copy from the copy of the Treaty of Saint-Martin Joseph Gilbert (1769-1841)."
"Partial copy in the State" [15]? It is organized in five paperback books, 20 x 22
cm format. Two copyists were this time executed. Special mention on the cover,
"Property of the order of the great professed of Geneva". [16] Joseph Gilbert,
heir of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin has offered it to his friend Captain Cunliffe
Owen in 1839, which offered him at the Metropolitan College of the Grand-
professed. Matter took knowledge and the tackled in his own copy. Detail to the
story, a different title, one of more, on the binding: Treaty on reinstatement
human beings in their first prerogatives: virtue and divine spiritual power.
4. The manuscript Letourneur, referenced L.T.
A few secrets on this copy quoted by Robert Amadou in his introduction to l'
edition of the bicentennial, but more in development it delivers in a special
study [17]. Volume in - 8 , a single word of title on the back of binding leather,
Treaty.Copyist unknown but unique, 489 pages.
The survey conducted by specialized historians, it is a certainty, he cannot be of
Trkheim. But is this copy quoted by Grard van Rinjberk, from the Ramon con
elected?
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings

This is not a copy of copy as discussed, the manuscript Kloss. It belongs to the
family A, very near long version of the manuscript Matter [18], and is found
mutilated pages 51 and 52.
His route is incredible: found publicly in the catalogue of the Durel bookseller in
November 1877, under number 3634; then found listed in the library of the
convent of the minor Capuchin of Lyon but forgotten during the move of the
latter to 1927. Recovered (the weight of the paper, wonderful time!) by the
bookseller Ebrard, quai Fulchiron (always in Lyon) is sold to a descendant of
Jean-Baptiste Willermoz. After the second world war, it will give - clearly
without a State of soul because it is not the copy of his grandfather - to the
Parisian bookseller Marcel Dommergues. It was while in 1950, Robert
Letourneur made blessed acquisition. Probably in 1970, he was in otherwise
without that we can locate
5. The manuscript Kloss, referenced L 2
The original of this copy of the Treaty is clear: it is that of prince Christian of
Hesse ceded by Carl Friedrich Tieman, a friend of Saint-Martin. According to Van
Rijnberk, it would be in form of a volume of 360 pages, in - 8 and bound full
leather. Scribe uncertified, possibly the Strasbourg Jean Frdric Kuhn [1] which
would have performed this version at Bordeaux, where he then resided. Then in
1830, at the death of the prince, transmitted to Andreas Schleiermacher.
Original? No, it was necessarily a copy. The death of Schleiermacher, in 1858, it
is classified in the archives of the Grand Duke, then the trace is damaged.
Fortunately, Dr. Georges Kloss the borrowed in 1848 to Schleiermacher, carried
out or did run a copy. The Kloss manuscript is a copy of copy... Inserting many
additions from the hand of George Kloss [2] (Introduction, tables, etc.). Current
property of the greater-East of Netherlands, in the Hague. 86 slips to format 25
x 34 cm. divided into three parts, plate inset drawing the universal table.

6. The fragment of Solesmes
It is a compilation of the final 26 chapters of the short version, referenced B) of
the hand of the petit-cousin of Saint-Martin, Tournyer. This is so and yet, a copy
of copy. It demonstrates many points of conjunction, and even add-in with the
manuscript Kloss, but without the two together produce the sum. Its official
name is very exactly Suite of the Grand Treaty. We the will appoint in the
future, preferably, the fragment of Solesmes.
A recent communication of Catherine Amadou invites us to qualify here:
"These are 259-284 - lacking in Kloss - B version and they were published
(traditional Renaissance, 101/102, April 95, 47-69).
Trigger a break.
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings
Manuscripts 1899

Indeed, before talking about the manuscript number 7, alert a few copies which
it alleged the existence without as formally certify it and lost all evidence,
making them even more suspicious. But in the matter, the history of those who
will follow must inspire caution, similarly to maintain hope of discovered
probable.
Call and quickly, then congdions:
-A manuscript that would have been in possession of a clergyman of Geneva,
Joux [3]. He claimed to be owner, in the years 1810, of "all the manuscripts of
Martins!"
-A copy of the count of Divonne, mentioned in correspondence from von Baader
[4]. If it existed, it will be destroyed with all the personal papers of the count.
Or could it be that in 1998 we shall see!
More seriously because necessarily:
-copies of Grainville, of Champolon.
-As it happened from that of Willermoz (1730-1824)? Not to be confused with
the Letourneur manuscript that has been seen, made his entry into the family of
the last buyer after a date that can be put around 1930!
Finally, there, the case is referenced [5], that is happened to the copy of the
marquis de Vaucroze, disciple of Dom Pernety, the illustrious INSPIRER of the
illuminated of Avignon. His friend Herbort [6], in a letter addressed to Meyer,
gives a first very important accuracy: "this Knight (sic) of Vaucrose has been
the intimate friend of Saint-Martin and he succeeded him in the translation of j.
Bhme ensuring of the Mysterium magnum ". In 1819, he informs Saltzmann "I
did, in recent years, very interesting knowledge, among others with a (sic)
French comte, former cavalry officer and chevalier de Saint-Louis, a researcher
zealous high truths, very kind and very valuable: he gave me the rare
manuscript of Dom Martinez de Pasqually, that one of my friends to copied.". "It
is curious and important, but I am not all for exact truth" [7]. So therefore
Vaucrose had a copy of the Treaty, which was in turn copied by a friend of
Herbort.

7. The manuscript of Saint-Martin, Fund Z
1978! MIL-neuf-cent-sixty eighteen will remain in the annals for all martinistes -
that they are heart, membership in a martiniste order or Freemason (in
particular), historians, researchers and University-1978 therefore, will remain as
an invaluable discovery year and always to explore (foul to know all the
identified elements), one of funds Z.The invention of this "treasure Martiniste" is
due to the tireless Robert Amadou, we would write "as per usual!" But it should
be simply the deliveries and confidences of the inventor, to grant our
confidence: no room is available, therefore searchable.
We can therefore study it, under section.Non-point that align off-topic, but
simply because we consider that it is not legitimate is to do so, in addition, we
would be incompetent for qualified. Wish a beautiful soul completes the task, as
well elements still remain to be publicly known.

Reasonably set our posts to describe.
The immense virtue that it produces and that does exceed the six versions
previously presented, it is that it is in hand, full, Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin,
became to the departure of the abb Fourni in 1771, the unique Martins de
Pasqually Secretary! Therefore, if not the original unlikely, a source document.
How is this?
It is extracted from the first volume of the nine [8] that bring together the
collection of the manuscripts reserved of the unknown philosopher either Fund
Z.
Thus saved game of Treaty on reinstatement human beings in their first
property, virtue and power spiritual divine essence consists of 116 pages of
format 22 by 24 centimetres, spread over 5 books, full autograph of Saint-
Martin seen, front and back, including following the text, the "story of an
experience" and an inset plank representing "the Figure universal".Similarly, a
"read Note" that is in doubt after!
The paper is watermarked, mysterious coincidence (?) "Saint-Martin"!
Saint-Martin are brought his hand a few adjustments and mentions in the
margin, but severely condemn the additions of three anonymous and
sacrilegious corrigeurs!
Finally, observe that the "manuscript of Saint-Martin" is revealed strong first
cousin of the "manuscript Letourneur" (including the explicit, the experience,
the figure, but also and especially the Variant title, Treaty on reintegration etc.).
From there to boldly that they come from the same matrice Similarly the n/a
18 & 19.

Above: Facsimile of the autograph manuscript of Saint-Martin (move your
mouse over the book to see the text).
8. The unknown to German or the reverting of Divonne?
The rumor run, then the confirmation fell: in Germany, at a sale organized by
Zisska & Kistner in Munich, on 6 and 7 November 1988 a copy of the Treaty

Manuscripts 1899

(registered under number 6523) was acquired by the Bibliotheca Philosophica
Hermetica to his private collection [1], where it is referenced Ms M388. The
copyist is ignored, the unknown provenance. But the precious notes in the
margin are the hand of Franz von Baader, Prof. Antoine Faivre well wanted to
confirm to Alain Marchiset.

When questioned, the current owner tells us about the number of pages is 98
(which the falls in the short version) and precise with reserves, adding in
German of Franz von Baader ratings. We remember the hypothetical copy of
Divonne, reported by von Baader only Could it be that it survived the
destruction of its archives?
Until now, the manuscript Kloss was the only copy known version B.
Again, Catherine Amadou liked to make us the following clarification:
"the sale catalog Announces 107 ff.; The BPH indicated once 211 p. (since
cataloguing includes only the pages with text). In any case the text stops with
the 229, as ms. Kloss, and it is for this that the ms. of Solesmes is important,
since it also goes further than the version. "Now we must find the 230 to
258"!
Can suggest, without too much advance us, that a delivery of twelve copies was
made at a minimum. Twelve is the figure announced by the forest of Rau-cross
ordins, who could not would not have received a copy of the Treaty [2]. This
figure, must of course add copies of copies mentioned in our article. We look
forward to future discoveries!
9. The manuscript Gaudard
With the valuable discovery of Jean-Louis Boutin, evocation of a "coming of Mr.
St-Martin's" manuscript, announced us the anonymous sieur d. in his letter of
September 25, 1851, in j. de Saint-Genois, teacher-librarian at the University,
editor of the journal Messenger of historic Sciences of arts and the Belgium
bibliography. It indicates having the hands (as it became owner or simple
consultant?) "A manuscript to the modest appearance but the title of which was
sufficient to excite strongly curious [...]" "book in - 4 149 pages, writing tight,
regular and very readable".
Book us, in addition to the title " Trait (sic) on the reintegration of human
beings, in their first property, virtue and divine spiritual power, by Dom
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings

Martinetz Pasqualis, Venant de Mr. de St. - Martin", a precision absolutely
crucial, since it identifies: "Started the copy on 19 July and finished 14 August
1818." "F. Gandard [sic for Gaudard] colonel, in Vevey in Switzerland". This
character and this copy, see the study provided by Dominique Clairembault on
this site: " A reference to the Treaty on the reinstatement in 1851".
In his letter, figure two extracts that highlight differences of omissions from the
manuscript of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin which make us doubt - personally,
but the floor is historians - be it of that for which we reference now, 7
previously mentioned, the z Fund. Note also that the copy Gaudard makes
mention of the famous notes: "the author was not later in the Treaty which was
to be much longer;" It is mainly for the coming of Christ that he should be the
most important, according to what he said himself to his friends.
Located on that date, that became? A track to search, surely! The case looks
difficult, because any trace is lost both at the University of Ghent and in the
communal house. Two fires ravaged the library and archives of the University,
the first during the last world war, the second in 1995! Same for the municipal
archives between 1944 and 1945
10. The manuscript Rigoulire Delard
Through the generous invention of Mariette Cyvard, discover this manuscript
deposited in 1930 or 1931 in the departmental archives of the Lot and Garonne
at Agen, by the marquis de Fayolle (1851-1933, Member of the French society
of archaeology), in direct origin of the Delard de Rigoulires family, which is
related to the Raffin of Hauterives in the Lusignan. Only serious genealogical
study would establish a formal link with Jean-Jacques of the Roy of Hauterive.
Can be in doubt and reject this trail: in the family tree of the family, published
by Robert Amadou in numbers 16 & 17/1997 of The spirit of things, can verify
that branch Raffin of Hauterives did not figure there. It is the generation of the
father of Jean-Jacques, Henri Du Roy de Fontenailles, surname Du Roy is
followed by a designation of seigneurerie. Thus of the Roy de Villiers, Du Roy de
Vinhais, Du Roy de Blicquy, when to Jean-Jacques, he had abandoned its rights
on the title and the Castle.

A working hypothesis proposes that the copyist was the Abb Fournier. Case to
follow!
> Enlarge this document (Pdf)
A working hypothesis, advanced by Alain Marchiset is proposing that the copyist
Abb Fournier. Another, supported by Michelle Nahon, advance the name of the
baron de Calvimont. Case to follow!
Note his specific title: Treaty on reintegration beings created, in their first
property, virtue and divine spiritual power, in the singular, in the same
manuscripts n/a or copy of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin, except for the word
created.
Both obtained documents (reduced) review said us:
As from page 66, the following were missing (removed?).
Anomaly in the pagination by absent-mindedness no doubt of the receiver which
having obtained this copy in two consignments, numbered 1 to 14 and 13 to 64.
That, this fragment of the Treaty interrupted Kan parricide by his son Booz,
which corresponds exactly to the chapter 77-page 152 of the edition made by
Robert Amadou dissemination Rosicrucienne (1995).
Fine, elegant, stylish, very typed entry. The copyist is certainly the abb
Fourni, according to Alain Marchiset, handwriting examination and confirmed
expertise by his colleague Thierry Bodin, expert in autograph.
The text begins on the original version (odd pages) of the bicentennial Edition,
but soon, is singularly detaches.
11. The manuscript of the BnF, NAF 22373
We, France and Paris! Let us not waste our pleasure, even cocardier.
The eleventh manuscript of the Treaty on the reintegration of people exhumed!
On information of Mariette Cyvard (repeat offender informed) who noted the
existence of this document referred to in the book: new acquisitions of the
Department of manuscripts of the National Library, 1913-1914 (library of the
school of the charters, year 1915, volume 76, number 1, p. 400), h. Omont.
From these data, Dominique Clairembault and Xavier Cuvelier-Roy are
reassembled at the source, the first being made on the spot.

Examination in situ, on 30 January 2010, at the BnF, has allowed the validation
of this information. The document is well archived under the NAF 22373 rating
(and microfilmed under MF 21257 reference). It is incorporated in a volume
related grouping several manuscripts under the General title of blends historical
and philosophic [3] The Treaty on the reintegration of human beings [and not
estres] in their first property, virtue and spiritual power figure at the top of this
volume.
Here are the main features:
The Treaty is the first 102 folios of this volume, pages 1-205. The text is the
same as that of the autograph manuscript of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin. It is
therefore of the Treaty in its long version, the typology of Robert Amadou. As
the latter, it ends with the story about Saul and the Pytonisse. It does not note
indicating that "the author has not been later in this trait." "placed at the end
of the manuscript of Saint-Martin. Similarly, "Experience to convince the truth of
the central fire axis", is absent. It is recalled that text is strikethrough on the
autograph manuscript of Saint-Martin and that it is possible that it is not for this
text.
A first study of the Treaty in the BnF, allows to make the following remarks:
There are several corrections noted in the margin by a # which show that the
text was read after its drafting [4]. The attention of the reviewer did however
not notice, page 41, the oversight of the paragraph on the numbers, text
contained on page 67 of the manuscript of Saint-Martin ( 66 of this text
typographie Edition). It is possible that this text was missing from the version
used by the copyist.
Many scribes seem to have worked on this document, because there are three,
even four different entries [5].
The schema of the universal table appears after page 159, i.e. in the "great
speeches of Moses", just before the description of this drawing. This position
seems more logical than that adopted in the manuscript of Saint-Martin, placing
it at the beginning of the speech (in pages 136-137, which is 215 publishing this
text typographie).
The great circle that starts in the "dnaire circle" and down to surround the
"universal creation" background in its lower part with the circle of the universal
creation. The legend "Immensity of incr light axis" is below these two fused
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings
Manuscripts 1899

rings on the design of the manuscript of Saint-Martin it is between circles,
knowing that in this version the circles do not mingle.
In the "land triangle" is a legend which is not on the drawing of Saint-Martin.
Indeed, above Hebrew letters can read "ame [sic for soul] land." The legend
"Celestial vastness", absent on the scheme of Saint-Martin, figure here on each
side of the "circle of Saturn". The vertical line connecting the centre of the
"dnaire circle" to the "land triangle" is well drawn, while she is invisible on the
design of Saint-Martin. Outside these differences the two drawings are very
similar and could almost be bunk.
No indication to know the origin of this document, or the name of its owner or
sponsor. Two notes, one listed at the top of the manuscript and the other at the
end and having a signature could probably tell us more. Unfortunately, we have
not yet managed to decrypt them.
The presence of two buffers to approximately date this document from the
Imperial era. It buffers the "Royal Library" and the "Imperial Library". After the
revolution, the Nation library becomes Imperial library under Napoleon to take
library Royal name with the return of the monarchy. Either way, the manuscript
of the Treaty seems to have left the Fund of the library as it is in the collections
of the BnF between 1913 and 1914, following an acquisition [6].
Conclusion:
The Treaty of Martines de Pasqually manuscript kept at the national library is
very comprehensive and can be surprising that nobody so far has been noted
the existence of this document. Very close to the version of the autograph
manuscript of the unknown philosopher and despite a few shortcomings, it is a
very nice copy of the famous text of Martins de Pasqually.

A preliminary note on the three following ms:
The manuscripts below were discovered in May 2010 by Alain Marchiset,
libraire-expert in Paris (the Intersigne). They are archives from the lodge of
friends-together (Philalthes, Savalette de Lange) with those of the elected
Con. With the concern for authentication and accuracy (especially in
handwriting expertise) he presented forward first, these three manuscripts to
the Colloquium of 300th anniversary of Martins de Pasqually held in Marseille
on 18 and 19 September 2010.
12. The manuscript (of Saint-Martin?), G.O.
The unthinkable has perhaps arrived, a second manuscript of the Treaty, would
be the hand of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin and dating from the end of the
1770s (actually, the paper subsequently used in its binding, date from 1780)!
We bet that this discovery will awaken many other hopes!
His recent invention by Alain Marchiset comes from the exhumation in May
2010, a part of the archives of the lodge of the friends-together (see above).
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings
Manuscripts 1899

It seems to be a working copy or test, unfinished, as are many the erasures and
corrections made Saint-Martin from the original version. In addition, we note
the absence of the universal table, the note on the experience and ends 229
according to the numbering proposed by Robert Amadou and which now serves
as a reference.
It is now part of the funds of the library of the Grand Orient de France (Paris).
13. The manuscript of Virieu, Fund G.L.N.F.
Manuscript of the hand of Count Franois-Henri de Virieu (1754-1793), Member
of the Scottish Rectifi Rite. His recent invention by Alain Marchiset comes from
the discovery in May 2010, a part of the archives of the lodge of friends -
together (see above).

This unfinished copy it also (and to 229) always conducted on paper
watermarked in the year 1767, which was the cause a light shudder at its
inventor! It consists of 8 books in 4 , is characterized by an interruption in the
narrative the mid, the absence of the universal table and the note on the
experience. We note also with temperatures and especially a long note in the
margin, from the hand of Virieu.

This manuscript is
now part of the funds of the library of the Grande Loge Nationale Franaise
(Paris).
14 Fragment Wukassovich, Fund G.O.
Jean Wukassovich, Butler St. Petersburg Philalthes and member of the lodge of
the gathered friends. It performs this copy in the beginning of the 1780s.
His recent invention by Alain Marchiset comes from the discovery in May 2010,
a part of the archives of the lodge of friends - together (see above).

It is composed of two books, titled "4.1.2.3.4.", the first correspondent to the
241 to 241 258 258 (according to the numbering proposed by Robert
Amadou) and the second to the 259 to 259 284 284. It includes the
"endnote."
Interesting note, this second book is therefore identical to that previously
studied at the number 6 says the Fragment of Solesmes (short version,
referenced (b) of the hand of the petit-cousin of Saint-Martin, Tournyer) and
missing in Kloss!

The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings
Manuscripts 1899

After the source, I turn to the various editions that has known our Treaty.
II - Editions
Our introduction warned that the first was announced was that of Philippon. In
fact, we would have the clarify: integral, because before 1899, some excerpts
have been published:
The first time the secular public could read an
extract of the Treaty, in 1851, by j. de Saint-
Genois, a Belgian academic who publishes a
letter addressed to him by an unidentified
correspondent. This letter includes two brief
passages, one extracted from the speeches of
Moses, the other on the virtue of the
numbers. .
Matter, in 1862, in his famous biography of
Saint-Martin, the philosopher unknown : 14
lines exactly! Matter is related by alliance to
Frdric-Rodolph Salzmann (1749-1820),
Grand-professed in the order of the C.B.C.S.
but first elected Cohen and friend of Saint-
Martin that he attended in Lyon and
Strasbourg. This is him (and Charlotte de
Boecklin) who know - and love - the unknown philosopher, Jacob Boehme
(1575-1624). Of Salzmann, Matter has inherited an important Fund.
-Adolphe Franck, in 1866, the first 26 slips, publishes in its philosophy Mystic in
France at the end of the 18th century. It is the son of Matter, the pastor Albert
Matter that presented her "two small volumes manuscripts Pasqually Martins".
-In 1935, Grard van Rijnberk, in turn, publishes 16 pages and the universal
table in A Wonderworker in the 18th century, Martines de Pasqually on two
columns, it compares a few extracts from the manuscript Matter with Kloss. It
specifies milling maonnisante, seeing with correctness of "differences of
expression" as the substitution of the word "Man" for example, by "Mason", or
"emanate" to create (serious mistake).
And then was published, finally, the complete edition which will remain until
1974, the reference for any historian, since the only published!

1 Edition Chacornac, so-called "of Philippon" 1899
This is a first in history, a fracture to the secret, a blessing to the address of all
researchers! Jean-Baptiste Willermoz, in his time, would be insurgent! For
imperfect is publication (many interpretation errors, typos, errors, etc.) - the
job was hardie - it will endure for eternity, historical Edition! And then, what do
we know the integrity of the Matter manuscript which was used in the
circumstances?
Disappeared since then, there is no evidence that it is not itself defective.
Without the representation of the universal table, the face is severely upset,
making it difficult and sometimes incomprehensible.
Published in 500 copies, 388 pages, this is Henri Chacornac which has ensured
the achievement in the collection of the library Rosicrucienne number 5. [Book
online at Gallica ]]
Before the text, a Historical record on the Martinsisme and the Martinism, a
Knight of the Rose growing or Albric Thomas. The researchers, for 75 years,
were finally disposed of the only Treaty printed book basic approach and serious
study of martinsisme and the martinism.
Between its release and its re-release, include:
2 Edition of the Martiniste order and Synarchique
Created in the 1950s by signature Gulion, this very
discrete order co-edited (with some other small
martinistes Obediences) Edition out-trade Treaty,
in the Pocket format, on the basis of the so-called
Philippon Edition (with the same title but without
reference to the precursor, Chacornac! first in a
series of unfortunate practice, should denounce).
These are the Athanor workshops in Montreal
which has ensured the Edition.
3. First reproduction of the Edition Chacornac, so-
called "Philippon", 1974
To the resumption of the library Chacornac, traditional editions fortunately
began a reissue typographic Treaty, disappeared from sales catalogues by
exhaustion since the second world war.
Teaches and address the new House. Reprinted in
1977 and 1984 in the same form and the same
typographical printing process, 235 pages.
4 Edition Robert Dumas called "Bicentennial", 1974
The same year, appears to be a voluminous work,
which for the first time, will dethrone the supra
Edition (at the level of encyclopedic interest). And
yet, she refers to it (pages version A) and (odd
pages) look at publishing Kloss, version B. All in a
juxtalinaire form.
The combat is unequal: on the one hand, the full
text, without fard but shell corrected, the other a
"Introduction", "Documents", "Notes" the hand of
Robert Amadou, complemented by the index of
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings

Schleiermacher, translated at the request of Robert Amadou by Pierre Deghaye.
The success was immediate, the most important broadcast. The rest, it
welcomes the introduction - to photographic representation - of the native Table
universal of the Kloss manuscript with its legends.
Beautiful cover toile, title and martiniste pentacle Golden on purple background
of beautiful effect, format 14 x 21.5, a total of 578 pages.
5. First edition in Portuguese, 1979
At the height of the salazariste regime and under the yoke
of a strict censorship, a courageous publisher undertakes to
publish sulphur judged texts by Catholic dignitaries Roman
of the Portugal. That is why Edies 70 will edit, in 1979, a
Tratado da Reintegraco dos seres Criados. Translation by
Antnio Sabler of ms. Kloss Edition, 1974 (Edition of the
bicentanire), (276 pages in the format 14 x 22 cm). Note: a
rare peculiarity: the author's name is spelled Swifts of
Pasquallys, and a preface by Manuel j. Gandra, Horsam,
that we have not been able to identify.
6 Trattato della Reintegrazione degli esseri nelle loro primitive proprit virt
e potenza divine e spirituali, 1982
Italian translation (Edition Philippon) of C.M. Aceti, with a presentation of
Francesco Brunelli, sovereign Grand Master of
theOrder Martiniste des elected Cohens of the
universe and of Memphis-Mizraim for the Italy
by the Amenothes editions.
7 Facsimile of the autograph manuscript of
Saint-Martin, Rosicrucienne Diffusion, 1993
31 x 43.5 cm in dimension to represent across
the pages of the autograph manuscript of
Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin! 500 Numbered
copies, 172 pages on high basis weight paper,
it is a masterpiece for bibliophiles, bibliomanes.
The Treasury Board Martiniste found a setting
worthy of the jewel it symbolizes. End of
volume, a double-page representing a second
time the universal table, thus allowing the
reader to have permanently under the eyes.
In the authentic, it cannot claim to be better! No retouching, reading notes
sheet is present. Cover simili leather, red grief, letters Golden fine gold on the
first dish.
8. First edition authentic from the manuscript of Louis-Claude de Saint - Martin,
established and presented by Robert AmadouRosicrucienne, 1995
We are arrived to the new and last Edition which is a reference. It returns all the
others to be classified on the shelf of the historical writings have earned but
exceeded. This Edition, 473 pages, is the necessary complement to the
previous.
Robert Amadou has taken two initiatives, which may shock some, delighted
others: it is used to make this publication a lecture by its rich introduction; a
work tool by dividing it into 11 sections, which are split in 284 articles:
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings
Manuscripts 1899

I Adam, 50 articles;
II Kan, 3 articles;
III Abel, 12 articles;
IV Enoch, 29 articles;
V Noah, 25 articles;
VI the wise Noachides, 22 articles.
VII Abraham, 6 articles;
VIII Isaac, 5 articles;
IX Jacob, 10 items;
X Moses, 92 articles;
XI Saul, 8 articles.
Similarly, by adding a table of concordance between this Edition, Philippon, and
the facsimile of the autograph. The text, in its entirety, was transcribed in
French modern.Assisted by his wife Catherine, supported by Christian Rebisse,
Robert Amadou continues across by three indexes: "People, places and
themes," and a "analytical Table!"
An independent sheet allows to observe during the reading, on the front of the
"universal table" according to a drawing of Saint-Martin (corrected) and on the
back, another from the Willermoz - L .a Fund.
The version edited by Diffusion Rosicrucienne gave birth to two translations. The
first is Spanish, Tratado de Reintegracin of los Seres, published in Barcelona in
2002. Regret that the cover of the book indicates that it was a book of... Louis-
Claude de Saint-Martin!
The second is a Portuguese version, Tratado Da Reintegrao dos seres,
published in 2007 in Curitiba, Brazil.

Then, as the practice moved badly, real hacks:
In 2000, in Genoa, translation C.M. Aceti.
In 2003, in Florence, translation O. The ERI. Libreria Chiari;
In 2007, to Schaffhausen (Switzerland), translated by r. Marthaler, Novalis.

Do not add to the confusion and depart from any promotion, it has deliberately
that we do not number these counterfeits.
9. An astonishing language Greek, from the manuscript of Saint-Martin, 2003
Edition
Here is a small feat: rather than simply to
translate one of multiple editions published to
date, Demetrius Polychronis to patiently
decrypted in turn (from the facsimile) Treaty in
the version that retains our favours, that of the
Z Fund and thus produced an original work!
Need to dare.
In his correspondence, Demetrius Polychronis
informs me having his own subdivision into
paragraphs (with the same intention that had
animated in his time Robert Amadou, but
differently, especially in the ignorant since
date, of Greece, Demetrius was not able to
obtain the Diffusion Rosicrucienne 1995
edition!)
Introduction of his own:
Martines de Pasqually and the theurgy of
elected cons;
The doctrine of reintegration;
The Theosophical nature of the order of the cons elected;
Martins and Saint-Martin (comparison of the two lanes);
Comment by Willermoz universal Figure.
Add to complete this description, the
unfortunate use of the famous faux-portrait of
Martines de Pasqually. A discharge of Demetrios
Polichronis, is that in the course of the month of
January 2009, the site of the unknown
philosopher, that he exposed the Sham!
Published in 2003 Editions Pyronos Kosmos in
Athens, Pragmateia peri tis aposkatastaseos ton
Cape has a volume of 390 pages, format 21 x
14, coated cover. These details are given to
me, and I would like to thank them, both by the
translator previously cited by its editor, Mr.
Emmanuel Gaitanos.
10. The first Digital Edition for purchase on
internet, 2006
Internet provides, on certain sites, editions
(based Philippon) the majority of which are
defective. It is a matter of professional and we
cannot too warn our readers to take custody.
The Treaty is not easy to "seize". ! [1]
Very particularly recommend:
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings
Manuscripts 1899

Gallica from the National Library of France presents a digital version of the
Edition Philippon (the 1899). Online date is not indicated, but the validity is
certain because it is a facsimile of the Edition
Philippon (the 1899).
Editions of the Golden tree offer for sale, a 208
pages Pdf file containing the (obsolete) edition
published in 1899 in Chacornac. Relinking
proposed here offers a double interest: research
tools that allows PDF format, it is indeed an
instrument of significant study for those who
wish to deepen the work of the first master of
Louis-Claude de St. Martin. The title is defective,
without reference to the source editor.
The interest is
that it offers
two important
texts in
relation to the
Treaty. The
first is the
"historical
record on the
martinsisme and the martinism, a Knight of
the Rose growing". This text was already
included in the introduction of the edition of
1899. Surprisingly however, to see in the
introduction, because it appears also in the
second text proposed in this volume, "Notes
on the martinsisme and the martinism. The
latter, which was published by Jacques Brieu
in the France mercury in April-June 1899, is a
critique of the text of Albric Thomas.
11. A disastrous English Edition, 2007
Septentrione Books, English Publisher, has just
published an English translation of the Treaty.
The cover alone, representing a false picture of
Martins de Pasqually we would discourage go
more forward if the objectivity of our research
we needed to make State.
Certainly, his translator Trevor Stewart is very
deserving for y "having spent seven years, says
he, from sources various (sic) which one
handwritten (not indicated).
Alas, it is is also authorized to sum up, delete,
and more importantly, at simplifier or at least,
think he naively. We believe sincere since his
stated desire was to make available to
researchers a tool more "clear and easy to
read, rather than faithful and precise".
Translate "quatriple" by "quad", or "dnaire" by
"two", although he admits have intended "open text for a wider public", this
appears to us to the less dangerous.
12. Finally, a German language edition!
The Treaty on the Reintegration of Human Beings
Manuscripts 1899

Notice even the translator, Roland Marthaler, it took until "237 years that this
book [appears in German] written in 1770 by Martins de Pasqually and one of
his students, Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin." If it will not resume to our account
this statement, it seems indeed that the Treaty has never been translated
before!
Editor, Novalis, produced us a resumption of editing Philippon of 1899, which he
reworked by cutting the text in paragraphs 438 with titles of its own (Robert
Amadou was merely 284) and modern punctuation.
A "translator's Introduction" briefly summarizes the biography [2] of Martins de
Pasqually, while as an "Appendix" exposes us interpretation Jean-Baptiste
Willermoz universal figure found at the end of volume. Not reading table, but
reproduction of the great seal of the order, the personal stamp of the grand-
master and a replica of his signature.
The Edition is cured film coverage with a vignette representing someone
phnix, paper quality, being in perfect page.
13. A surprising Japanese Edition, 2008
With the help of Mitsuaki HASEGAWA,
Professor Kiwahito KONNO, known for his work
on the illuminisme and its translation in
Japanese of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin, has
just published two fundamental texts together
in a single volume, the Treaty on the
reintegration of human beings, followed errors
and the truth.
This Japanese version of the Treaty is based on
the edition of 1899. It fixes the travers, with
notes and comments that refer to the most
recent editions of the Treaty, published by
Robert Amadou (Dumas, 1974 and
Rosicrucienne distribution, 1995).
14. Even more surprising, a Russian, 2008
Edition!
The vigilant attention of Michelle Nahon him discover in a trip, this edition
passed unnoticed until today!
We could get a copy (exhausted in a few weeks!) we must simply indicate that it
is published by Aenigma in Moscow, that
there are 271 pages, decorated vignettes that
are not all of the Treaty, far it since it is given
to be surprise, among others, once again and
too unfortunate false-Martins de Pasqually
portrait!
Note on the last page, a brief biographical
note of Robert Ambelain.
15. A comparative Edition of manuscript Kloss
and so-called Philippon Edition
The Castelli Editions, already known for its
"times-House" of the works of Louis-Claude
de Saint-Martin, today offers us an
"improved" version of the Treaty on the
presentation chosen by the bicentennial, but

in strict accordance with the opposite two-column, paragraph by paragraph. It is
very convenient to better distinguish the differences between the so-called
"original" version and that Philippon/Chacornac, or between a (short) (b) and a
version (long).
Following an analytical Table of Andreas Schleiermacher, translated by Pierre
Degaye. "Universal Figure" accompanied by the legend we is available at the
end of volume. This editor is working hard for the promotion of the literary
corpus of martinism and the martinzisme (if it is necessary and prudent to
distinguish them). By digital printing is quality, coated cover format 20.4 x 14,
366 pages. We will still do our customary reserves State soon that it is
improved and corrected times.
Summarize this second part: click on the image below (or here) to open the
table below.

Conclude, therefore, and we guarantee the notes to references to be delivered
to the suite. They are significant because they certify proposed developments.
If had to choose a manuscript, a response of normand requires us:
The manuscript Kloss for fidelity to Martins de Pasqually, the manuscript of the
Z Fund for scholarship to the doctrine of Martins de Pasqually!
For editing, no State of soul:
A detached single, l'Edition of Robert Amadou, executed by the distribution
Rosicrucienne!

Le Barcars, fall 2008 Equinox.
