2. The promotion
of officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 has been made under Regulations 10.9 of Erstwhile PSEB
Service of Engineers (Elect.) Regulations, 1965.
3. The above officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 on promotion may not be allowed to
join
at their new assignment
without obtaining the clearance chit from their controlling officers.
4' Promotion of officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 has been made without prejudice to the outcome of pending/ new
disciplinary cases, if any, and that punishment pertaining
to the period
of lower post shail continue to
have its effect during the higher post on promotion.
5. Promotion of officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 has been made without prejudice to the outcome of the Court
Cases/ Civil Writ Petitions which might be going on in any Lower CourU High CourU Supreme Court and
that the decision of any such Court case shall be applicable to them.
6. The officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 shall be on probation for one year as per Regulation 13.1 of Erstwhile
PSEB Service of Engineers (Elect.) Regulations, 1965.
7. The otficials at Sr. No. 1 &2 would have continued to work as JS/Mech. had they not been promoted as
Afl (Elect.).
8. The above officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 on promotion
shall not be entitled to seniority as AE (Elect.) over
those who are otherwise senior to them but whose cases are not complete for want of certain
formalities.
9. In case if any of the otficials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 on promotion
does not join
at his new station of posting
within the stipulated period, his pay should not be released.
10. lf any of the officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 fails to
join,
on promotion,
at the proposed posting station, within
one month, his promotion
will be automatically considered as foregone without any notice as per
instructions circulated vide memo No. 1928771 1944271 ENG/ G-212tVol. 8/ Loose dt.22.10.93 further
clarified vide UO No. 47222l ENG/ G-512 dl.7.04.95 and memo no. 139998/ 141648t ENG-212t Vot-Bt
Loose dt.23.10.98.
11. The officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 shall submit return of movable/ immovable property, debits and other
liabilities on the prescribed form as required under Regulation 19 (1)

Employees Conduct Regulation, 1971 to the Controlling Officer who shall forward the same to the Under
Secretary/ Secret (Gazetted), Patiala.
12. The promotion
of the officials at Sr. No. 1 & 2 has been made on the basis of disciplinary cases report
received upto July, 2013 from their respective Chief Engineers and if any new case (s) ihereafter has
been instituted, the decision of which affects the promotion
then the official shall be liable to be reverted
without any notice etc. as per instructions circulated vide memo No. 110682t 111402t EB-49S/ SE/
Elect. 2004-05 dt 30.08.04.
13. The promotion
of official at Sr No t has been made subject to the condition that his case for
continuation in service beyond 50/55 years of age is cleared by HElc.
