Abstract: The mind mapping method has not long been applied in teaching, especially in language teaching in ju
nior high school and few teachers have conducted a research on it or practiced it. Based on the practice of mind
mapping method in the teaching process, the author of this paper points out that the mind map teaching method
can both help teachers have the organized thinking, and help students to summarize the main points, deepen their
understanding, and compose their compositions with the aim of helping them improve their language performance.
