Description
A highly effective water-reducing compound and superplasticizer for
free flowing concrete.
Complies with ASTM C 494-81 Type G and IS 9103 1999
Uses Sikament

-581 B/6 as a superplasticizer to produce concrete in:

Floor Slabs
Foundation
Slender components with dense reinforcement
Walls and columns
Beams and ceilings

-581 B/6 as a water-reducer for the manufacture of:

Shelf -Life
12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged unopened,
original sealed packaging, in dry conditions at temperatures between +5C and
+30C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

Application Details
Consumption / Dosage 0.6 - 2.0% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of
effect sought, quality and quantity of cement, sand grading,
W/C ratio and ambient temperature. Actual dosage to be finalised on the basis of
site trials.

Dispensing Sikament

-581 B/6 can be added separately to the freshly mixed concrete.

When added separately to the freshly mixed concrete, further mixing should take
place for at least one minute.
Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.
Hardened / cured material can only be mechanically removed.
