I had a wish to be close to my grandmother after her untimely passing. I thought of ways to feel her near me...In 2007, I found a way to do this; "Annie Hodge TSC." My grandmother, Annie L. Hodge Haire, used to feed everyone. I remember the Hodge women each had a special talent in cooking but it seemed my grandmother could do it all; Prepare the most mouthwatering dishes, and end the dinner with one of her famous show stopping desserts. This is what I wanted to do as well; I remember all dishes from the PR Lasagna to those famous Collards. I can even make those Southern Desserts from Sweet Potato Pie to that ever-moist Sour Cream Pound Cake.
If this is what you remember of your family or if you are just interested to know...come and try me, I promise you will understand the love I felt for my Grandmother each time I sat down to eat her meals. The best thing about my Grandmother is that she left me with so much to do and I am so grateful for this opportunity to share my love of her with the world & those that protect this world. From my heart and hers we say thank you...I can really thank you with one of her fabulous meals.
