1.OBJECTIVE:
To pursue M.Sc. and PhD degree in the field of Civil Engineering specially in Geotechnical
Engineering under the supervision of any proactive researcher and to do researches in the same field
so that can be able to contribute to the welfare of my country being an adroit Soil Engineer.
2.EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
I have completed B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology
with a CGPA 3.68 out of 4.00 with final year thesis namely Seismic Performance Analysis of
Bahaddarhat Flyover. My class rank in Bachelor program was 4
th
out of 111 students.
i. M.Sc in Civil Engineering (continuing), Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology
ii. Passed B.Sc. (2012) in Civil Engineering with CGPA 3.68 out of 4.00.
iii. Passed H.S.C. (2007) from CUET Campus School & College with GPA 4.40 out of 5.00.
iv. Passed S.S.C. (2005) from Noapara High School, Chittagong, with GPA 4.56 out of 5.0.

3.EXPERIENCE:
a) From January 1, 2013, to till now serving as a full-time lecturer at the Department of Civil
Engineering, Southern University Bangladesh.
b) Analyzed the feasibility of ready mix concrete in the Chittagong city under the sponsorship
of Confidence Cement Ltd. from January 15 to March 15, 2012.

Course Conducting: Design of Concrete Structures, Geotechnical Engineering and
Prestressed Concrete Structures.
Supervision: At present supervising four students of undergraduate program with thesis works
in geotechnical engineering.
4.My B.Sc. Thesis: Seismic Performance Analysis of Bahaddarhat Flyover
In this paper seismic performance of Bahaddarhat Flyover situated in Chittagong city has been carried out for a
strong earthquake ground motion record. A single pier along with the elastomeric bearing, bridge deck and
girder is considered in the study. With the help of the analytical software DRAIN-2D, the time history analysis
of the pier and elastomeric rubber bearing is carried out. Fromthe analysis it has been found that the pier is
more susceptible to failure than the bearing for the given earthquake ground motion records. A careful selection
of bearing type is needed while designing a bridge with isolation bearing.

a) Study of the Suitability of Rolling Mill Slag as a Soil Stabilizing Material.
