1 Introduction
1.1 Overview
This document describes GSM-R 5.0 BTS3012.
1.2 Version Difference
BTS3012 V301R013C00 is the first BTS3012 version that matches GSM-R V100R005C00
(GSM-R 5.0).
GSM-R 5.0 is the solution version which maps BTS3012 V301R013C00.
1.3 Application Overview
The BTS3012 belongs Huawei double-transceiver BTS family. It has strong coverage
capacity and adopts the intelligent low-consumption design, which reduces the capital
expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expense (OPEX) of telecom operators. The BTS3012
provides solutions for the GSM-R radio access network, aiming at meeting telecom operators'
various requirements in different network environments.
