Way definition of the password a card memory Siemens MC

Demanded programs and tools:

- Siemens Step7 v5.2
You require this version of the program.
Since v5.3 at any operations with cards the password is requested.
Version 5.0 (the oldest version from available me) does not see a folder System Data where the
configuration of the controller and the ciphered password is stored.
I.e. using this version it is possible to make only operations with program blocks (copying, change,
viewing)

- Programmer memory-cards Siemens Simatic USB-PROMMER (6ES7 792-0AA0-0XA0)
Probably, it is possible to use also other devices Siemens includes MC and MMC-slots .


- Any empty card Siemens MMC.
I used a card Simatic MMC 64KB (6ES7 953-8LF11-0AA0)

- Usual card-reader which can read cards MMC (MultiMediaCard).
It is better to use external USB card-reader. Built in notebook not always suit.

- Program Unlock_and_converter_MMC_Image_S7.exe

- Program CompuApps OnBelay V2 or WinHex.

- Memory-card Siemens MC on which it is necessary to learn the password.

Made operations:
1. Open in Simatic Manager memory card and copy folder System Data.
2. Creation by means of the master project in Simatic Manager and paste folder System Data.
3. Extraction the card MC, installation the card MMC in programmer slot, copy folder System Data in
card MMC.
4. Installation the card MMC in any card-reader MMC (MultiMediaCard) and removal image from
card.

More detail.
After installation Siemens Step7 v5.2 and drivers Simatic USB-PROMMER, start Simatic Manager.
In programmer we insert a card MC.

Select in menu File / S7 Memory Card / Open.


Make copy folder System Data.

Using the menu File / New Project Wizard create the project with any processor and paste folder System
Data.



Make copy folder System Data.
From programmer we pull out a card MC and insert a card MMC.


Select menu File / S7 Memory Card / Open and we insert the copied folder System Data.


Further we go already known by definition of the password card MMC:
Let's pull out a card MMC and we insert it in card-reader (MultiMediaCard).
We consider an image card MMC in file, using the program OnBelay V2:


Let's start the program Unlock_and_converter_MMC_Image_S7, let's choose our file-image pass1.fmb, also
we define the password, select in the menu Password / S7-300.
