across re while driving, never attempt to drive through smoke or ames
but U-turn to safety. Always obey all trafc controls and road closures.

Victoria has many magnificent natural attractions to explore, however many of these areas are also
prone to bushfire in the summer months.
The Department of Sustainability & Environment and Parks Victoria urge visitors to parks, forests
and reserves to observe a few simple precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.
Check the weather forecast. Fire Danger is greatest when it is hot, dry and windy.
Modify your activities to suit the weather conditions. On days of high fire danger
consider attractions in less remote or isolated locations.
Be aware of local fire restrictions and in particular if it has been declared a day of
Total Fire Ban.
Listen to the local ABC radio station for weather and fire information.
Let someone know what your plans are and where you are going.
If there is a fire in the area, leave using the main roads. Or if you come across fire
while driving, never attempt to drive through smoke or flames but U-turn to safety.
Always obey all traffic controls and road closures.

at Kangaroo Ground. Turn right and after 100m, turn left into

Main Hurstbridge Road (46), pass through Diamond Creek and
head towards Greensborough. Turn right at the roundabout to
access the Metropolitan Ring Road (M80) and follow the airport
signs. Exit at the Tullamarine Freeway (43) interchange.
