1. Pleasing aesthetics.
2. Automatic ignition, just turn the water flow knob on, to
get hot water from the out let. Turn the water flow knob
back, to switch off the unit.
3. Independent control of water flow and gas flow makes
water temperature easy to regulate.
4. A burner selector knob allows selection of 1 or 2 or both
burners, depending on the ambient temperatures,
thus saving energy cost.
5. A built in gas regulator, makes combustion more stable
6. A built in oxygen depletion monitor automatically shirts
off the unit, when low residual oxygen levels
(60% of normal) is detected in the room
(Only Selected Model)

After initial installation or a change of gas cylinder, air

g
may remain in the gas pipe and it requires several
ignition attempts to push the air out of the pipe before
the gas can be ignited. If a problem comes up after
normal operation, turn off the water immediately. Try to
re-ignite after 10-20 seconds
Turn the water flow knob to regulate the water flow and

therefore the temperature. Turn the flame control knob
to regulate the flame of the burner and also thus control
the hot water temperature.

After use and turning off the gas valve, drain out

Dealing with the Abnormal Conditions

Put off heater when strong adverse wind blow into the
g
bathroom from outside, causing the flame to be
unstable. In case of abnormal burning (e.g. back fire ,
flame out, yellow flame or black smoke, etc.), unusual
smell, noise etc., keep calm and turn off the gas valve
and contact the service center or the gas dealer.
Replacement of batteries
The normal life of a pair of batteries is 6 months in
g
normal working conditions.
Preventing overheating scald
During or immediately after use, do not touch any part
g
of the heater other than the knobs, especially the
parts around the flame check window.
The following things are normal
When the water pressure is lower than 0.03Mpa,
g
(Less than 5 PSI) the heater cannot be ignited.
The drain valve dripping, When the water pressure is
g
too high, the drain valve will release the water so as to
reduce the pressure to protect the heater.
When the heater is supplying hot water to several
g
points at the same time, the hot water flow would be
reduced,
During use, the heater will automatically be turned
g
off after 20 minutes of continuous use. This is a safety
feature.
When the heater shuts off due to over temperature it
g
will not ignite immediately. Shut off the gas supply,
allow the cold water to flow out for about 30 seconds
(to cool and reset the thermal cut out) before
attempting to reignite.
When the voltage of the battery is less than 2.1V, the
g
heater will not ignite, replace the batteries.
Maintenance
Check the gas tube / pipe regularly for any defects.
g
Contact service center/ gas agency for any doubt.
Clean the water filter mesh regularly.
g
Check for gas / water leak regularly.
g
When the flame turns from blue to yellow with black
g
smoke, contact the service center immediately for
help
It is recommended that, every six months, the heat
g
exchanger and burners are checked and serviced by
a qualified technician to ensure efficient working of
the heater. Contact our authorised service center.
Clean the soot on the ignition electrode regularly to
g
ensure the successful ignition.
Always keep the cover of the heater clean.
