Misuse of Grace

The nature of fallen man—misuse of what is given to him. The Word, Elohiym’s grace.

2 Peter 3:16 “As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which
they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

Isaiah 4:1 “And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel:
only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.”
Women in scriptures. “Bread” – doctrine. Our own apparel – filthy rags. (“But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our
righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64:6)

(Where is your faith? Yeshua asks.)

Two groups in Isaiah 4.

There will be a shaking – tribulation and fire will cleanse Jerusalem (the church).

A remnant saved (“Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a
remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut [it] short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon
the earth. And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto
Gomorrha.” Romans 9:27-29) (Noah, Lot, Elijah)

“revivalist movement” – converted from one deceit to another.

Souls wrest scriptures because they don’t want to deny self, love of sin.

1 Peter 2:7,8 “Unto you therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders
disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, [even to them] which stumble at
the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.”

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of
the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause Elohiym shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That
they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

2 Corinthians 3:6-8 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter
killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of
Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away: How shall
not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?”

(Romans 8)

2 Corinthians 3:2,3 “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared
to be the epistle of Mashiyach ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living Elohiym; not in tables of stone,
but in fleshy tables of the heart.”

Ezekiel 36:25-27 “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols,
will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of
your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall
keep my judgments, and do [them].”

Zechariah 4:6 “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of Yahveh unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might,
nor by power, but by my spirit, saith Yahveh of hosts.”

Luke 24:32 “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened
to us the scriptures?”

Hebrews 8:7 “For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.”

Hebrews ch. 9 & 10

Ephesians 2:8,9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any
man should boast.”
A cornerstone of false Christianity/(“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much
more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12)

Jude 1:5 “I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the
land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.”

1 Corinthians 10:1-12 “Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud,
and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Mashiyach. But
with many of them Elohiym was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to
the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as [were] some of them; as it is written, The
people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one
day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Mashiyach, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them
for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh
he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

Titus 2:11,12 “For the grace of Elohiym that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and
worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”
John 1:17 “For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Yeshua ha Mashiyach.” (“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come.” John 16:13) (“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but
under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? Elohiym forbid. Know ye not, that to whom
ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto
righteousness?” Romans 6:14-16)
Many say, “We’re not under the law.” True, we are under the New Testament. But there still is a law: the law of the Spirit. (“For the
law of the Spirit of life in Mashiyach Yeshua hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2)
The law is written on our hearts. The carnal mind cannot receive the truth. (“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit
of Elohiym: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians
2:14) (“Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against Elohiym: for it is not subject to the law of Elohiym, neither indeed can be.”
Romans 8:7)

Jude 1:4 “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning
the grace of Eloheynu into lasciviousness, and denying the only Adon Elohiym, and Adoneynu Yeshua ha Mashiyach.”
Grace is not divine permission to sin. It is divine deliverance from sin.

“… the wages of sin is death …” (Romans 6:23), separation from Elohiym. (“Behold, Yahveh’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot
save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid
[his] face from you, that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:1,2) (“And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea,
when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.” Isaiah 1:15) (“Wash you, make you clean; put away the
evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the
fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith Yahveh: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as
white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of Yahveh hath spoken [it].” Isaiah 1:16-20)
Elohiym is not winking at ignorance, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. (“And the times of this ignorance Elohiym
winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” Acts 17:30) (“But when the righteous turneth away from his
righteousness, and committeth iniquity, [and] doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked [man] doeth, shall he live? All
his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned,
in them shall he die. Yet ye say, The way of Adonai is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways
unequal? When a righteous [man] turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity
that he hath done shall he die.” Ezekiel 18:24-26) (“Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but
yield yourselves unto Elohiym, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto
Elohiym.” Romans 6:13,19)

(“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Yeshua ha Mashiyach.” Romans 5:17)

If we do not yield to our convictions, we will lose them.
