SWOT Analysis is a strategic planning method used to evaluate the Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project or in a business venture.
It involves specifying the objective of the business venture or project and identifying
the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable to achieving that
objective.












Strengths refer to the competitive advantages and other distinctive Competencies to
get success in life.
Weaknesses are constraints that hinder movements in certain directions.
Opportunities primarily arise from the external environment, and refer to the chances
of gaining competitive advantages.
Threats are the external uncontrollable variables that can create problems on
organizational performances pose as to business firms.

In this assignment I will do the SWOT analysis of myself. I will find out my
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats considering my experience and daily
life.




I can swim, cook and take photo graphs
These are my skills which I was learnt during HRM370 with Mr.
Tajuddin Ahmed. These skills make me different form many of my
friends and my parents appreciate me to learn real life skills as
much as possible and I can teach some skills to others.

A hard working person
I can do a lot of hard work. I am also a member of North South
University Cine & Drama Club and I continue both my study and
extracurricular activities. I can do it because I can do hard work.

I can write very fast both Bengali and English
I am from Bengali medium academic system so it is very easy to read and write in
Bengali. But besides Bengali I can read and write English also. So it is strength.

Punctual and sincere student
I always come to class in time with decent dress and try to do all assignments and
other activities. I take part all exams and quizzes, I do all assignments and cases of all
other courses. I also try to help my friends and I discuss about difficult topic with my
friends.

I can manage everything with my time management technique
Club work teaches how to manage time and how to do task successfully in short time.
I can manage everything in time. I live here without my parents and I have to do many
things besides study and extracurricular activities. I have to do much family work in
my mess.

Habituated with various technologies
I know many technical activities. I have laptop and an internet modem. I can spend
whole day with these two. I know Microsoft office package and internet browsing.
And I am learning photo shop and auto cad. It is obviously my strength.

I have family support.
I have family support and it is the strongest strength in my life. I do not need to be
worried about money but I am very calculative in spending money. My parents are
my strength.






Not regular in prayer and reciting the holy Quran
It is a very bad thing that I am not regular in prayer in this age stage. I can recite the
holy Quran but I do not do it regularly. This is my weakness and I want to overcome
this weakness as soon as possible.

Do not have English speaking proficiency at high level
I was a Bengali medium student so sometimes I face problems in English speaking
fluently. This is very bad and a big weakness of mine. This skill is very necessary to
get success in future life.

Have the tendency to become individualistic
Sometimes I want to keep me individual which am very bad. I do not share my
personal things with others but I live here in a mess and the other students are not
same mentality. Then I feel some problem and I like to become individualistic in
some stage. This is a weakness and a barrier to manage people successful.

Tempered person
I have a very short temper. If there is something happens then I cannot control my
temper. It is my weakness. For that reason some of my friends do not like me. But I
will try to reduce this bad habit as quick as possible.

Cannot concentrate multi task at a time
In this competitive world multitasking capability is very important. But I cannot
concentrate on that. It is my weakness which is very essential to survive in
competitive world.





Chance to do better in academic career
As I am a punctual and hardworking student it is a great
opportunity for me to do well in all courses. I can do work in
time and I am sincere now. So I can say that it is great
opportunity for me to perform well and chance to increase the
CGPA also.

I believe that I will have more competitive advantage
I think I will get competitive advantages for having HRM major. It helps me to build
up a successful career. HRM makes a student different from others and they can
perform better than others. In the job sector I can get an opportunity to be success
earlier.

I am an extrovert so I hope that I will be able to fit in
any given situation in future
Like Mr. Tajuddin Ahmed I am also an extrovert but I do not have
any real life experience in this sector. But I try to learn many
nonacademic topics and foreign assignment. I want to learn many
new things. Extrovert mentality can increase my skills and make me
more potential for gaining success.

I can have the opportunity to go abroad for higher studies
Many of my relatives live in different foreign developed countries like USA, Canada,
England and Australia. The quality of higher education of these countries is very good
and these countries are very nice and rich. My relatives can help me to give me
opportunity to go abroad for higher education. So it is a great opportunity for getting a
foreign higher degree.

Doing my major in HRM from NSU
HRM major students are totally different from other students. I think I
will get competitive advantages for having HRM major. It helps me to
build up a successful career. HRM makes a student different from
others and they can perform better than others. In the job sector I can
get an opportunity to be success earlier. Besides that, I always come to
class in time with decent dress and try to do all assignments and other
activities. I take part all exams and quizzes, I do all assignments and

The job market is getting more and more competitive day by day
As a student my target is to get a suitable job after graduation. But the competitive job
market is the threat to get a suitable and perfect job after graduation. Every year many
young graduates enter into the job market so it is a threat for me.

Some of my weaknesses can become a threat as
thing things can appear seriously
I have many weaknesses which may also become threats in future if
I cannot overcome those weaknesses in time. I have to solve all
weaknesses before they become threats. So weaknesses are my own
threats.

I cant work perfectly without any suitable condition
This world is very challenging and I have to do work in any
situation. But I cannot work perfectly if I do not get the perfect
situation. It is a bad habit and a big barrier for getting success in
future. So it is a threat for me.
