DESIGN PROJECTS
JEWELLERY BASED
• Jewellery collection for Indian contemporary women inspired from the traditional jewellery.
• Jewellery collection for American market based on forecasted trends.
• Designed four ranges following the form language of the international company Cartier.
Range 1: Jewellery range based on current form language of company.
Range 2: Futuristic jewellery range by studding past and present form language of the company.
Range 3: Designed Indian range if company is launched in India.
Range 4: Range of jewellery designed by combining form language of two international companies –
Cartier and Kaira.
• ‘neo YANTRA’ collection of costume jewellery based on Promostyle trends-04.
• Designed and executed retail window display for the above costume jewellery range.
• Silver neckpiece, pendent, earrings and chains of various types based on traditional techniques like rawa.
• Designed a ramp accessory based on forecasted trends.
• Designed a jewellery piece for unusual body part (collar bone).
PRODUCT BASED
• Designed range of products using glass fussing, slumping and bending.
• Designed a tool kit for mechanics.
• Designed salt and pepper shakers.
• Kinetic module of 15 days for NIFT campus.
SELF INITIATED:
• Range of ramp accessories for final design collection for NIFT fashion design students.
• Wire jewellery workshop at NIFT fest SPECTRUM & ECLIPSE 2004.

INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
• Six months diploma project in Orocraft Pvt. Ltd. (parent co. KBS Designs) to acquire practical
experience in designing jwellery and getting them produced.
Projects handled:
- Designed collection of cocktail rings. Amongst the one of the piece was semifinalist for
“Solitaire” awards 05’.
- Designed collection of sets using semiprecious beads and diamonds.
- Designed collection of bridal jewellery.
- Designed customized pieces keeping clients requirements in mind.
- Designed three advertisements for the company, which was published in Mumbai express.
- Designed advertisement for the ‘solitaire’ magazine issue June-July 05’.
- Designed invitation card for the company’s private exhibition.
- Designed booth for KBS designs and Orocraft for IIJS 05’.
• Two months internship in Renaissance Pvt. Ltd seepz, Mumbai to acquire knowledge about
jewellery industry and to understand production, marketing, merchandising and design.
• Manufacturing process documentation of 15 days in local jewellery industry of Ahmedabad.
• Industrial visits: K.A.R.P. (Surat): for learning diamond cutting and polishing process.
Solsons Exim: for investment casting,
Indo-German Tool Room (IGTR): for basics of CNC machines.
CIPET : To learn about Injection molding ,Blow molding.
Gujarat Gold Centre: to understand the process of Hallmarking.
Kalptaru: To understand the process of angle and tower making.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Diploma in Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories Design from NIFT Gandhinagar, 2002-2005 batch.
• 10+2 Gujarat board, science stream from Vidyakung high school, Vadodara, Gujarat.
