If you are picking up this publication for the rst time and
wondering what we are all about, the answer is freedom.

proxy wars carried out in our names. We oppose the persecu-
tion of people for religious or cultural reasons.
We are not left or right. We are constitutionalists. Because
Obama is currently the titular head of the global empire and
crime syndicate, a lot of this publication will be about his actions.
In the past, we were critical of Bush. We will also examine Rom-
ney and others who may replace Obama and his administration.

News via print is dying as a result of a perfect storm. People are
abandoning corporate newspapers and print publications and
instead are ocking to the web as so-called mainstream newspa-
pers just regurgitate corporate and government talking points.
Mainstream news is also dying online this is why we are able to
dominate them with lm, videos, and our news websites.
Print is impervious to a government kill switch and any other
electronic scheme designed to shut down areas of the web the
government wants censored. Digital and networked technology
make it easy for corporate control freaks to track down dissi-
dents, delete their words and even kill audio les of their voic-
es, as they have done with my voice on YouTube. Corporations
have gone so far as to claim copyright on voices, including that
of Optimus Prime, a character from the Transformers franchise.
Thats right YouTube is now adhering to third party claims of
ownership many of them erroneous to peoples own voices,
and using this as a pretext to delete content representing a
new frontier of censorship via copyright.
Automated software bots are now being used to preemptively
censor content with no due process whatsoever.
Kindle recently demonstrated how it is possible to remove
content when it invaded privately owned devices without
permission or warning and deleted ebooks. As Apple co-found-
er Steve Wozniak recently warned, the very idea of cloud
computing poses a threat to the existence of digital material
and the idea of individual ownership. The director of the CIA
has admitted that the Internet is a surveillance tool that even
gives smart appliances the ability to spy on you.
This censorship war amounts to nothing less than electronic
book burning, where words and ideas can be digitally erased
from the cloud. The automated bots will now do the work of
the remen in Ray Bradburys dystopian classic "Fahrenheit 451."

legislation is little different from what the state is doing to the
freedom of expression in Russia. More and more, the web is
darkening as our authoritarian government expands its reach.
While we continue to ght for Internet and cyber freedom, it
is important to embrace print at a time when everyone is aban-
doning it. Print media is important because it is not dependent
on a device that can be controlled, disabled or turned off by a
government kill switch or at the whim of a corporation. All you
need are your eyes; print gives the power to the reader.

he senseless and horric killings at the movie
theater in Colorado reminded Americans that
life is fragile and beautiful, and we should not
take family, friends, and loved ones for granted.
Our prayers go out to the injured victims and the
families of those killed. As a nation we should
use this terrible event to come together
with the resolve to create a society that
better values life.
We should also face the sober real-
ity that government cannot protect
us from all possible harm. No matter
how many laws we pass, no matter
how many police or federal agents
we put on the streets, no matter how
routinely we monitor Internet com-
munications, a determined individual
or group can still cause great harm. We
as individuals are responsible for our
safety and the safety of our families.
Furthermore, it is the role of civil society
rather than government to build a culture of
responsible, peaceful, productive individuals.
Government cannot mandate morality or instill
hope in troubled individuals. External
controls on our behavior imposed
by government through
laws, police, and jails
usually apply only
after a terrible crime
has occurred.
Internal self
governance, by
contrast, is a much
more powerful regulator of human behavior than any law.
This self-governance must be developed from birth, rst
by parents but later also through the positive inuence of
relatives and adult role models. Beyond childhood, char-
acter development can occur through religious, civic, and
social institutions. Ultimately, self-governance cannot be
developed without an underlying foundation of morality.
Government, however, is not a moral actor. The
state should protect our rights, but it cannot develop
our character. Whenever terrible crimes occur, many
Americans understandably demand that government
do something to prevent similar crimes in the future.
But this reexive impulse almost always leads to bad
laws and the loss of liberty.
Do we really want to live in a world of police check-
points, surveillance cameras, and metal detectors? Do
we really believe government can provide total security?
Do we want to involuntarily commit every disaffected,
disturbed, or alienated person who fantasizes about vio-
lence? Or can we accept that liberty is more important
than the illusion of state-provided security?
Freedom is not dened by safety. Freedom is dened by
the ability of citizens to live without government inter-
ference. Government cannot create a world without risks,
nor would we really wish to live in such a ctional place.
Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute
safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total
state control over its citizens lives. Liberty has meaning
only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen
and a false government security blanket beckons.

costs are counted the Iraq invasion cost U.S. taxpayers
$3 trillion. Ditto for the Afghan war. In other words,
the two gratuitous wars doubled the U.S. public debt.
This is the reason there is no money for Social Security,
Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, the environment and
the social safety net.
Americans got nothing out of the wars, but as the
war debt will never be paid off, U.S. citizens and their
descendants will have to pay interest on $6,000 billion
of war debt in perpetuity.
Not content with these wars, the Bush/Obama
regime is conducting military operations in violation
of international law in Pakistan, Yemen and Africa,
organized the overthrow by armed conict of the gov-
ernment in Libya, is currently working to overthrow
the Syrian government and continues to marshal mil-
itary forces against Iran.
Finding the Muslim adversaries that Washington
created insufcient for its energies and budget,
Washington has encircled Russia with military bases
and has begun the encirclement of China. Washington
has announced that the bulk of its naval forces will
be shifted to the Pacic over the next few years, and
Washington is working to reestablish its naval base
in the Philippines, construct a new one on a South
Korean island, acquire a naval base in Vietnam and air
and troop bases elsewhere in Asia.
In Thailand, Washington is attempting to purchase
with the usual bribes an air base used in the Vietnam
War. There is opposition as the country does not wish
to be drawn into Washingtons orchestrated conict
with China. Downplaying the real reason for the
airbase, Washington, according to Thai newspapers,
told the Thai government that the base was needed
for humanitarian missions. This didnt y. So
Washington had NASA ask for the air base in order to
conduct weather experiments. Whether this ruse is
sufcient cover remains to be seen.
U.S. Marines have been sent to Australia and else-
where in Asia.
To corral China and Russia (and Iran) is a massive
undertaking for a country that is nancially busted.
With wars and bankster bailouts, Bush and Obama
have doubled the U.S. national debt while failing to
address the disintegration of the U.S. economy and ris-
ing hardships of U.S. citizens.
The annual U.S. budget decit is adding to the accu-
mulated debt at about $1.5 trillion per year with no

Washingtons Hubris, I promised to examine
whether the U.S. economy will collapse before
Washington in its pursuit of world hegemony brings
us into military confrontation with Russia and China.
This is likely to be an ongoing subject, so this column
will not be the nal word.
Washington has been at war since October 2001,
when President George W. Bush concocted an excuse to
order the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan. This war took a
back seat when Bush concocted another excuse to order
the invasion of Iraq in 2003, a war that went on with-
out signicant success for eight years and has left Iraq
in chaos with dozens more killed and wounded every
day, a new strong man in place of the illegally executed
former strongman and the likelihood of the ongoing
violence becoming civil war.
Upon his election, President Obama foolishly
sent more troops to Afghanistan and renewed the
intensity of that war, now in its eleventh year, to no
successful effect.
These two wars have been expensive. According to
estimates by Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes, when all

move away from its use to settle their balance of payments, could set off
ination that would take interest rates out of the Feds control. As interest
rates rise, bond prices fall.
In other words, bonds are now the bubble that real estate, stocks, and
derivatives were. When this bubble pops, Americans will take another
big hit to their remaining wealth.
It makes no sense to invest in long-term bonds at negative interest
rates when the federal government is piling up debt that the Federal
Reserve is monetizing and when other countries are moving away
from the ood of dollars. The potential for a rising rate of ination is
high from debt monetization and from a drop in the dollars exchange
value. Yet, bond fund portfolio managers have to follow the herd into
longer term maturities or see their performance relative to their peers
drop to the bottom of the rankings.
Some individual investors and foreign central banks, anticipating the
dollars loss of value, are accumulating gold and silver bullion. Realizing
the danger to the dollar and its policy from the rapid rise in the price of
bullion during 2011, the Federal Reserve has arranged offsetting action.
When the demand for physical bullion drives up the price, short sales of
bullion in the paper market are used to drive the price back down.
Similarly, when investors begin to ee Treasuries, thus causing interest
rates to rise, J.P. Morgan and other dependencies of the Federal
Reserve sell interest-rate swaps, thus offsetting the effect on
interest rates of the bond sales. (Keep in mind that
interest rates rise when bond prices
fall and vice versa.)
The point of all this
information is to e s t a b l i s h
that except for the 1 percent, the
incomes and wealth of Americans
are being cut back across the
board. From 2002 through 2011
the economy lost 3.5 million
manufacturing jobs. These jobs
were replaced with lower-paying
waitress and bar- tender jobs
(1.2 million), ambu- latory health
care service jobs (1.5 million) and
social assistance jobs (578,000).
These replacement jobs in
domestic services mean that
on a net basis U.S. c o n s u m e r
income was moved out of the
country. Potential a g g r e g a t e
demand in the U.S. dropped by
the differences in pay in the job cat-
egories. Clearly and u n a mbi g u-
ously, job-offshoring lowered U.S.
disposable income and U.S. GDP
and, thereby, employment.
Despite the lack of an economic
base, Washingtons hegemonic aspirations continue unabated. Other coun-
tries are amused at Washingtons unawareness. Russia, China, India, Brazil
and South Africa are forming an agreement to abandon the U.S. dollar as
the currency for international settlement between themselves.
On July 4 the China Daily reported, Japanese politicians and promi-
nent academics from China and Japan urged Tokyo on Tuesday to aban-
don its outdated foreign policy of leaning on the West and accept China
as a key partner as important as the United States. The Tokyo Consensus,
a joint statement issued at the end of the Beijing-Tokyo Forum, also called
on both countries to expand trade and promote a free-trade agreement
for China, Japan and South Korea.
This means that Japan is in play.
The Chinese government, more intelligent than Washington, is
prospect of declining. The nancial system
is broken and requires ongoing bailouts. The
economy is busted and has been unable to cre-
ate high-paying jobs, indeed any jobs. Despite
years of population growth, payroll employ-
ment as of mid-2012 is the same as in 2005 and
substantially below 2008. Yet, the government
and nancial presstitute media tell us that we
have a recovery.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor
Statistics, employment in 2011 was only 1
million more than in 2002. As it takes about
150,000 new jobs each month to stay even
with population growth, that leaves a decade
long job decit of 15 million jobs.
The U.S. unemployment and ination rates
are far higher than reported. In previous col-
umns I have explained, based on statistician
John Williams work, the reasons that the gov-
ernments headline numbers are serious under-
statements. The headline (U3) unemployment
rate of 8.2 percent counts no discouraged
workers who have given up on nding a job.
The government has a second unemployment
rate (U6), seldom reported, which includes
short-term discouraged workers. That rate
is 15 percent. When the long-term discour-
aged workers are added in, the current U.S.
unemployment rate is 22 percent, a number
closer to the unemployment rate of the Great
Depression than to the unemployment rates of
postwar recessions.
Changes in the way ination is measured
have destroyed the Consumer Price Index
(CPI) as a measure of the cost of living. The
new methodology is substitution based. If the
price of an item in the index rises, a lower
priced alternative takes its place. In addition,
some price rises are labeled quality improve-
ments whether they are or not and thus do not
show up in the CPI. People still have to pay the
higher price, but it is not counted as ination.
Currently, the substitution-based rate of
ination is about 2 percent. However, when
ination is measured as the actual cost of liv-
ing, the rate of ination is 5 percent.
The Misery Index is the sum of the ination
and unemployment rates. The level of the cur-
rent Misery Index depends on whether the new
rigged measures are used, which understate
the misery, or the former methodology that
accurately measures it.
Prior to the November 1980 election, the
Misery Index hit 22 percent, which was one
reason for Reagans victory over President
Carter. Today if we use previous methodology,
the Misery Index stands at 27 percent. But
if we use the new rigged methodology, the
Misery Index is 10 percent.
The understatement of ination serves to
boost Gross Domestic Product (GDP). GDP is
calculated in current dollars. To be able to
determine whether GDP rose because of price
rises or because of increases in real output,
GDP is deated by the CPI. The higher the
ination rate, the less the growth in real output
and vice versa. When the substitution based
methodology is used to measure ination, the
U.S. economy experienced real growth in the
21st century except for the sharp dip during
2008 to 2010. However, if the cost-of-living
based methodology is used, except for a short
period during 2004, the U.S. economy has
experienced no real growth since 2000.
In the chart above, the lower measure (blue)
of real GDP is deated with the ination meth-
odology that measured cost-of-living. The
higher GDP measure (red) deates GDP with
the new substitution based methodology.
The lack of employment and real GDP growth
go together with the decline in real household
median income. The growth in consumer debt
substituted for the lack of income growth
and kept the economy going until consumers
exhausted their ability to take on more debt.
With the consumer dead in the water, the out-
look for economic recovery is poor.
Politicians and the Federal Reserve are mak-
ing the outlook even worse. At a time of high
unemployment and debt-stressed households,
politicians at local, state and federal levels
are cutting back on government provision of
health care, pensions, food stamps, housing
subsidies and every other element of the social
safety net. These cutbacks, of course, further
reduce aggregate demand and the ability of
income-stressed Americans to survive.
The Federal Reserve has interest rates so low
that retirees and others living on their savings
can earn nothing on their money. The inter-
est rates paid on bank CDs and government
and corporate bonds are lower than the rate
of ination. To live on interest income, a per-
son has to purchase Greek, Spanish, or Italian
bonds and run the risk of capital loss. The
Federal Reserves policy of negative interest
rates forces retirees to spend down their cap-
ital in order to live. In other words, the Feds
policy is destroying personal savings as people
are forced to spend their capital in order to
cover living expenses.
In June, the Federal Reserve announced that
it was going to continue its policy of driving
nominal interest rates even lower, this time
focusing on long-term Treasury bonds. The Fed
said it would be purchasing $400 billion of the
Treasurys 30-year bonds.
Driving interest rates down means driving
bond prices up. With 5-year Treasury bonds
paying only seven-tenths of 1 percent and
10-year Treasury bonds paying only 1.6 per-
cent, below even the ofcial rate of ination,

However, the high bond prices mean that the
risk of capital loss is very high.
The Feds debt monetization, or a drop in the
exchange value of the dollar as other countries

killing American troops, and a government whose mil-
itary has been unable to subdue a few thousand lightly
armed Taliban after 11 years, is over the top when it
organizes war against Iran, Russia and China.
The only prospect Washington has of prevailing in
such an undertaking is rst use of nuclear weapons,
catching its demonized opponents off guard by nuking
them out of the bluein other words, by the elimina-
tion of life on earth.
Is this Washingtons program revealed by the neocon-
servative warmonger, Bill Kristol, who had no shame
to ask publicly, Whats the good of nuclear weapons if
you cant use them?

responding to Washingtons military threats by entic-
ing away Washingtons two key Asian allies. As the
Chinese economy is now as large as the U.S. and on far
rmer footing, and as Japan now has more trade with
China than with the U.S., the enticement is appealing.
Moreover, China is next door, and Washington is dis-
tant and drowning in its hubris.
Washington, which icked its middle nger to inter-
national law and to its own law and Constitution with
its arrogance and gratuitous and illegal wars and with
its assertion of the right to murder its own citizens
and those of its allies, such as Pakistan, has made the
United States a pariah state.
Washington still controls its bought-and-paid-for
NATO puppets, but these puppet states are overwhelmed
with derivative debt problems brought to them by Wall
Street and by sovereign debt problems, some of which

Europe is on the ropes and has no money with which
to subsidize Washingtons wars of hegemony.
Washington is becoming an isolated and despised
element of the world community. Washington has pur-
chased Europe, Canada, Australia, the former Soviet
state of Georgia (and almost Ukraine), Columbia and
continues its effort to purchase the entire world, but
sentiment is turning against the rising Gestapo state
that has shown itself to be lawless, ruthless and indif-
ferent, even hostile, to human life and human rights.

ow is money created? If you ask average people on the street this
question, most of them have absolutely no idea. This is rather odd,
because we all use money constantly.
You would think that it would only be natural for all of us to know
where it comes from. So where does money come from? A lot of people assume
that the federal government creates our money, but that is not the case. If the
federal government could just print and spend more money whenever it wanted
to, our national debt would be zero. But instead, our national debt is now nearly
$16 trillion. So why does our government (or any sovereign government for that
matter) have to borrow money from anybody? That is a very good question.
The truth is that in theory the U.S. government does not have to borrow a
single penny from anyone. But under the Federal Reserve system, the U.S.
government has purposely allowed itself to be subjugated to a nancial system
in which it will be constantly borrowing larger and larger amounts of money.
In fact, this is how it works in the vast majority of the countries on the planet
at this point. As you will see, this kind of system is not sustainable, and the
structural problems caused by such a system are at the very heart of our debt
problems today.
So where does money come from? In the United States, it comes from the
Federal Reserve.
When the U.S. government decides that it wants to spend another billion
dollars that it does not have, it does not print up a billion dollars.
Rather, the U.S. government creates a bunch of U.S. Treasury bonds (debt)
and takes them over to the Federal Reserve.
The Federal Reserve creates a billion dollars out of thin air and exchanges
them for the U.S. Treasury bonds.
So why does the U.S. government go to all this trouble? Why doesnt the U.S.
government create the money itself?
Those are very good questions.
One of the primary reasons why our system is structured this way is so that
wealthy people can get even wealthier by lending money to the U.S. government
and other national governments.
For example, last year the U.S. government spent more than $454 billion just
on interest on the national debt.
Over the centuries, the ultra-wealthy have found lending to national
governments to be a very, very protable enterprise.
The U.S. Treasury bonds that the Federal Reserve receives in exchange for
the money it has created out of nothing
are auctioned off through the Federal
Reserve system.
But wait. There is a problem.
Because the U.S. government must
pay interest on the treasury bonds, the
amount of debt that has been created
by this transaction is greater than the
amount of money that has been created.
So where will the U.S. government get
the money to pay that debt?
Well, the theory is that we can
get money to circulate through the
economy really, really fast and tax it at
a high enough rate that the government
will be able to collect enough taxes to
pay the debt.
But that never actually happens, does it?
And the creators of the Federal
Reserve understood this as well. They
understood that the government would
not have enough money to both run the
government and service the national
debt. They knew that the government
would have to keep borrowing even
more money in an attempt to keep up
with the game.
That is why I call the Federal Reserve
a perpetual debt machine. The Federal
Reserve was created to trap the
government in an endlessly expanding
debt spiral from which there is no escape.
And the Federal Reserve is doing a great
job at what it was designed to do. Today,
the US national debt is more than 5,000
times larger than it was when the Federal
Reserve was rst created.
Another way that money comes into
existence in our economy is through the
process of fractional reserve banking.
I originally pulled the following
simplied explanation of fractional
reserve banking off of the website of the
Federal Reserve Bank of New York, but
it has been pulled down since then. But
I still think it is helpful in understanding
the basics of how fractional reserve
banking works.
If the reserve requirement is 10 percent,
for example, a bank that receives a $100
deposit may lend out $90 of that deposit.
If the borrower then writes a check to
someone who deposits the $90, the bank
receiving that deposit can lend out $81.

($100+$90+81+$72.90+=$1,000).
When you put your money into the
bank, it does not say there. The bank only
keeps a relatively small amount of money
sitting around to satisfy the withdrawal
demands of account holders. If all of us
went down to the banks right now and
demanded our money, that would create
a major problem.
If I put $100 into the bank and the bank
lends out 90 of those dollars to you, now it
looks like there are $190 oating around.
I have $100 in my bank account and you
have $90 that you just borrowed.
The new debt that you have taken on
($90) has created more money. But of
course you are going to end up paying
back more than $90 to the bank, so more
debt has been created than the amount of
money that has been created.
And that is one of the big problems with
our nancial system. It is designed so
that the amount of debt and the amount
of money are supposed to be perpetually
expanding, and the amount of debt
created is always greater than the amount
of money that is created.
So is it any wonder that our society is
swamped with nearly $55 trillion of total
debt at this point?
A debt-based nancial system is
unsustainable by nature because it will
always create debt bubbles that will
inevitably burst.
Are you starting to see why so many
Americans are saying that we need to
abolish the Federal Reserve system?
Our founding fathers never intended for
our nancial system to work this way.
According to Article I, Section 8 of the
U.S. Constitution, the U.S. Congress is
supposed to have the authority to coin
Money, regulate the Value thereof, and
of foreign Coin, and x the Standard of
Weights and Measures.
So why has this authority been given
to a private institution that is dominated
by the big Wall Street banks and that has
actually argued in court that it is not an
agency of the federal government?
Thomas Jefferson once said that if he
could add just one more amendment to
the U.S. Constitution it would be a ban on
all government borrowing:
I wish it were possible to obtain a
single amendment to our Constitution. I
would be willing to depend on that alone
for the reduction of the administration
of our government to the genuine
principles of its Constitution; I mean an
additional article, taking from the federal
government the power of borrowing.
But instead, we have become enslaved
to a system where government borrowing
actually creates our money.
The borrower is the servant of the
lender, and we have allowed our
government to enslave us to the tune of
nearly $16 trillion.
There are alternatives to this system.
Things do not have to work this way.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of
our politicians consider the Federal
Reserve to be good for America and
steadfastly refuse to do anything to
change the status quo.
So if you are waiting for solutions
to these problems on the national level
you are going to be waiting for a very
long time.
The debt problems that the United
States and Europe are experiencing did
not come into existence by accident. They
are the result of fundamental structural
problems with the nancial system.
A debt-based nancial system is
always going to fail in the long run.
Unfortunately, most Americans still do
not understand this and so we will all
get to suffer the consequences.

mericans know, deep in their bones, that
something terrible is happening.
Maybe you can't articulate it. Maybe you
don't have the statistics to understand exactly
what's going on. But my bet is, you think about it a lot.
If you are at all like me, you know something has
gone wrong with America that's critical to our national
prosperity, something that jeopardizes the future for
our children and ourselves.
Something that threatens both the nancial order,
like the stock market, and the political order.
Well today, Id like to help identify the real problem
with America, by telling two quick stories.
Both of these stories will give you a very good idea
about the current state of our nation and about where
we are heading next.
The rst story involves some of the most powerful,
richest and most-connected people in the country.
Why Are These
Guys Not In Jail?
Last fall, Bloomberg published an article based on
condential sources about how Henry Paulson, the
former CEO of Goldman Sachs and the Republican U.S.
Treasury secretary during the nancial crisis, held a
secret meeting with the top 20 hedge-fund managers
in New York City in late July 2008.
This was about two weeks after he testied to
Congress that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were
"well capitalized."
I knew for a fact that what Paulson told Congress
wasn't true. I wrote my entire June 2008 newsletter
detailing exactly why Fannie and Freddie certainly
had billions of dollars in losses that they had not yet
revealed to investors$500 billion in losses, at least.
There was no question in my mindboth companies
were insolvent"zeros," as I explained.
And yet, in front of Congress, the U.S. Treasury
Secretary was saying exactly the opposite. Either I was
a liar...or he was.
Then...only a few days later...what did Paulson tell
those hedge-fund managers?
He told them the same thing I had written in my
newsletter. He told them the opposite of what he'd said
publicly to Congress. He told these billionaire investors
that Fannie and Freddie were a disaster. They would
require an enormous, multi-billion-dollar bailout. The
U.S. government would have to take them over, and
their shareholders would be completely wiped out.
Here you had a high-government ofcial explicitly
lying to Congress (and by extension, the general pub-
lic), while giving the real facts to a group of people
who represented the nancial interests of the world's
wealthiest folks. The story didn't come to the public's
attention for two years.
This was the most outrageous example of graft and
corruption I had ever seen. Certainly it involves more
billions of dollars in misappropriated value than any
other similar story that I can recall. These managers
had the risk-free ability to make tensif not hun-
dredsof billions of dollars by using derivatives to cap-
italize on what they knew was the imminent collapse of
the world's largest mortgage bank.
Who picked up the tab? You know perfectly well: It
was you and me, the taxpayers.
In an interesting side note: One of the investment
managers present at this meeting was Steve Rattner,
who at that point was already deeply involved in
another bit of graft: his efforts to bribe New York state
pension-fund managers for large investments into his
hedge fund, from which he earned perhaps as much as
$100 million. He later settled the charges for a mere
$10 million shortly after Andrew Cuomo was elected
governor of New York.
The Bloomberg story about a crooked Treasury sec-
retary handing a room full of crooked billionaires'
inside information worth billions of dollars hardly
caused a ripple.
As far as I know, no actions are being planned against
Henry Paulson or any of the hedge-fund managers
involved. No other major media outlet picked up the
story. I saw nothing about it from the Department of
Justice or the Securities and Exchange Commission.
What does that say about our country when even the
most egregious kind of corruptioninvolving hun-
dreds of billions of dollarsis simply ignored?
It seems like everyone in our country has lost moral
bearing, from the highest government ofcials and
senior corporate leaders all the way down to school-
teachers and local community leaders.
And heres the point: the ethos of my fellow Americans
seems to have changed from one of personal integ-
rity and responsibility to "getting yours"an all-out
attempt, by any means possible, to get the most amount
of benets with the least amount of work.
Think Im exaggerating?
Well, that brings me to my second story, about
a group of people who are probably the most
egregious, money-grubbing and immoral class in
America today: retirees.
Now hold on...before you start sending hate mail my
way, keep in mind, I'm not talking about all retirees.
No, there's a very special group who exhibit some of
the most disgusting behavior I have ever seen, even
though they are technically not breaking the law.
Let me show you an example of what I mean...
The Man With 10
Jobs
Bellwood, Illinois is a small, mostly black residential
suburb of about 20,000 people, located just south of
O'Hare Airport.
It's about a 15-mile commute straight east to
downtown Chicago.
The median salary in Bellwood is $57,000 a year,
according to recent census reports.
When I did a recent search on the Zillow real estate
website, I found just over 300 houses listed for sale in
Bellwood right now.
Just one of these homes is listed at a price higher than
$200,000, and only 12 are listed above $100,000.
In other words, this is not a particularly wealthy place.
But the little town of Bellwood made news recently
when a story came out in the Chicago Tribune about a
local, white ofcial named Roy McCampbell.
You see, for running this little suburb West of
Chicago, Mr. McCampbell made an astonishing
amount of money.
In his nal year before retirement, McCampbell
pulled in a whopping $472,255.
How did he make so muchmore than any other
municipal executive in the entire state of Illinois?
Well, according to McCampbell, he did the work of
10 people for Bellwood. This is great, comical really.
Let me show you the list of jobs McCampbell claims
to have done:
Comptroller, administrator, public safety CEO,
nance director, budget director, human resources
director, mayoral assistant, corporation counsel,
property commission director and development cor-
poration ofcer.
But hold on... it gets better...
As part of his contract, McCampbell was allowed
FIVE MONTHS worth of sick days each year, starting
in May of 2008.
Yes, you read that correctly... he got FIVE MONTHS
worth of sick days every single year.
And because it's completely impossible for anyone to
take ve months of sick days in a year, especially when
you are doing the jobs of 10 people!, McCampbell was
able to get paid for many of the sick days he never took.
This brought his salary up to close to half a million
dollars a year.
When asked about his pay, McCampbell told the
Tribune, "I didn't hold a gun to any body's head to get
this. I'm not trying to do anything bad."
What kind of world do we live in where neither this
guy, nor any of the other local ofcials who approved
this contract, see a problem with this situation?

McCampbell also was given a free car and free gas
all paid by the taxpayers, who also covered his pre-
miums for health and life insurance, as well as his
pension contributions.
Asked by the Tribune if he ever felt like he was being
overpaid, McCampbell told the paper, "I truly didn't."
And to top it all off, taxpayers are still not done pay-
ing Mr. McCampbell.
Because of salary bumps, bonuses and cashing out his
unpaid sick leave, McCampbell was able to dramatically
increase his nal year's pay, which in turn gives him a
pension estimated to be as high as $264,000 a year.
McCampbell, who was 55 years old when he
retired, could conceivably live another 30 years or
more, which could make his inated pension worth
nearly $8 million.
And don' t forget, he didn' t contribute a single
penny towards his pensionthat was also covered
by the taxpayers.
Unfortunately, in America today, there are Roy
McCampbells in every state, town, municipality and in
every level of government.
The $5 Million
Tollbooth Worker
Maybe you heard about the tollbooth worker from
New York whose average salary was $70,000 a year.
Believe it or not, that's not the absurd part of this story,
although that in and of itself is pretty amazing.
Whats remarkable about this tollbooth worker is how
he was able to legally steal millions from taxpayers in
the coming years.
What this fellow did was work tons of overtime and
cash in dozens of sick days, which more than doubled
his nal year's salary to $150,000.
Because his pension is based on his last year of work,
this guy will get a pension of $120,000 a year for the
rest of his life! That's 71 percent more than his highest
year of regular pay.
He's only 50 years old, which means taxpayers could
easily be on the hook for $5 million or more in total.
And like I said, these stories are the new normal
in what I call Corruption USA, where its all about
taking as much as possible, even if you didnt earn it
and dont deserve it.
The exact same thing is going on in every state, in every
county and in every municipality of America today.
We have state-funded janitors, reghters, cops, may-
ors, council members, administrators, etc. who are retir-
ing as early as possible (some in their mid-40s), setting
themselves up for payouts of millions of dollars for the
rest of their lives, because of outrageous public pensions.
In my mind, this "pension padding" is the exact same
thing as stealing. You are taking money you didn't earn
and don't deserve.
And it happens at every level of government,
starting at the top.
USA Today recently did a study on how various legis-
lators around the country pad their nal year's salary,
and thus their pension:
"Kentucky legislators add their annual allowance for
stationeryup to $1,500 for senators and $750 for
House membersplus another $15,000 to $17,000 a
year in expense payments to the salary on which pen-
sions are based. Connecticut lawmakers can increase
their pensions up to 50 percent by including mileage
reimbursements that add as much as $15,500 a year to
the salaries used to calculate their pensions."
So the new normal is for government employees to
pad their nal year salaries, then retire early, often on
pensions fattened by gaming the corrupt system.
It's a complete disgrace and another prime example of
what I call The Corruption of America.
Theres no doubt that something has gone terribly
wrong in our country.
Something has corrupted our society in a profound
way, to the point where most people in our coun-
try think it's normal to defraud the government, or
refuse to pay their debts, or even steal from their
employers or shareholders.
In fact, Id go so far as to say that almost every prob-
lem we face today is really only a reection of the more
important things our country has lostlike our sense of
honor, humility and the dedication to personal respon-
sibility, which made America the greatest hope for man-
kind for more than 200 years.

s Americas engineered economic implo-
sion accelerates, the parallels with how the
Roman empire fell are staggering. It is now
abundantly clear that the ruling class is pre-
paring for a planned economic implosion after which
they will declare themselves the saviors.
A recent Reuters report highlighting how the Federal
Reserve has been telling major banks in the U.S. to
prepare for a worst case scenario nancial collapse
and that these banks would not be able to rely on gov-
ernment support underscores once again how the elite
are positioning themselves to exploit the next leg of the
orchestrated nancial meltdown.
Just as happened in the aftermath of 2008, the rul-
ing class is getting ready to offer the solution of more
centralized control and more nancial serfdom as the
solution to the problem they created in the rst place.
By making the public and industry beg for QE3, the
Federal Reserve will once again try to manipulate the
crisis to portray itself as the guardian of a fragile sys-
tem and accumulate yet more power.
America is now ruled by a gaggle of completely corrupt
nancial terrorists who will stop at nothing to hollow out
the country in pursuit of their own maniacal and selsh
gain.
This precisely parallels Romes rapacious ruling
Emperors and Senators of the fth century who were
so obsessed with seizing wealth and control that they
ended up destroying their own culture, their own coun-
try and its empire in the process.
Just as in Rome, while the ruling elite got lthy rich,
the people struggled and starved.
More than 100 million Americans are now on gov-
ernment welfare, a third of the entire country, and that
gure doesnt even include Social Security or Medicare.
22.3 million households and 46.5 million Americans
have now entered technical poverty and live off food
stamps.
Just as in Rome, where the need to constantly gener-
ate revenue to satisfy the cost of defense and a sprawl-
ing bureaucracy ultimately led to the country becoming
bankrupt as Nero and subsequently emperors hiked up
taxes and debased the currency, America is hurtling
towards a similar fate.
Entitlement spending, military defense and a
bloated federal bureaucracy has left the United
States almost $16 trillion dollars in debt, and the
prospect of QE3 threatens to sink the dollar as the
world reserve currency for good.
Just as Romans found their currency becoming
increasingly worthless, the U.S. dollar has lost almost
100 per cent of its value since 1900.
Just like Rome, America was once a Republic that has
been hijacked and turned into an empire. Just as the
Roman Empire crumbled under its rulers inability to
afford its maintenance, Americas overseas presence
(the U.S. has troops in a staggering 130 countries), is
bankrupting the country.
Like America, Rome once had an inuential middle
class whose wealth allowed them to have a political
stake in their country. Merchants and traders were able
to prosper because taxes were modest and economic
regulation was relaxed. However, beginning in the
third century B.C., the Roman economy became more
regimented and taxes were raised. This eviscerated and
disenfranchised the middle class, just as has unfolded
in America, where middle class neighborhoods are
disappearing and income is polarized between a strug-
gling downtrodden mass of people and a tiny rich elite.
When the economic collapse arrives, it could be
more brutal than anything America has experienced
in its history as a nation.
Consider the fact that during the ten years of the
1929 Great Depression, some 8 million Americans
starved to death. And this at a time when 90 per cent
of the population lived in rural areas and were at least
somewhat self-sufcient. That number is now 50 per
cent and many people who live outside major cities are
not self-sufcient in any way.
Aside from economic factors, cultural and societal
parallels can also be drawn between Rome and 21st
century America.
Romes increasing use of illegal immigrants to do
agricultural work its host population refused to under-
take mirrors America in 2012. As Peter Heather writes
in The Fall of the Roman Empire: A New History of Rome
and Barbarians, The Roman government allowed
uncontrolled hostile immigration to dissolve the fabric
of their civilization. Illegal and legal Immigrants grew
more powerful while exercising their own character of
their cultures. They did not adopt Roman ways. Second,
vast blocks of once Roman lands became foreign held
and even the Roman population, once outnumbered,
was no match for hostile immigrants.
Factors that destroyed Rome now manifest in
accelerating numbers in America. Los Angeles,
Miami, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, New York City, San
Francisco, Raleigh and all large cities suffer millions of
illegal immigrants. Uncounted millions of them cannot
and do not speak English. Millions work under the table
without paying taxes. Millions use our hospitals with-
out paying. They immigrate but do not assimilate. They
colonize in ethnic enclaves separated from Americans.
They fracture our country, writes Frosty Wooldridge.
Just as Roman rulers created bread and circuses to
distract their population from the fact that the coun-
try was collapsing, Americans are also enraptured by
entertainment and sports, which in turn encourages
them to lead supercial, meaningless lives.
As Roman poet Juvenal (circa 100 A.D.) wrote,

sexual promiscuity and indelity is lauded. As Dr. Carle
Zimmermans 1947 book Family and Civilization docu-
mented, America shares the pattern of its moral decline
with Rome. Zimmerman identied a number of behav-
ior traits that signaled the decline of a civilization.
These included the breakdown of marriage and rise of
divorce, acceleration of juvenile delinquency, promis-
cuity and rebellion, refusal of people with traditional
marriages to accept their family responsibilities, a
growing desire for and acceptance of adultery and
increasing interest in and spread of sexual perversions
and sex-related crimes.
All of these traits have come to shape American soci-
ety in the 21st century.
It does not take a crystal ball to see where all this is
heading, and the planned economic implosion is going
to be the trigger. Europe has already been rocked by
riots over the past two years and federal authorities are
already preparing for similar scenes in America only on
a far bigger scale.
As Ron Paul has warned, the coming engineered nan-
cial breakdown is leading directly to domestic unrest
which will inevitably lead to a state of martial law.
Riots prompted by food shortages, ination, inequal-
ity and political corruption are inevitable should the
ruling class continue to deliberately implode the econ-
omy as is the brutal police state response that will
come as a result.
Just as Rome burned when it was sacked in 455AD,
the historical point which marked the formal end of the
Roman Empire, America faces the same fate.
The only way to prevent or try to lessen the kind of
collapse that could make the dissolution of Rome look
like a cakewalk is to use the tools that ordinary Romans
never had the power of the modern alternative media.
Only by relentlessly emphasizing that the collapse
is being deliberately engineered by those who seek to
exploit it for their own gain can we hope to deate the
myth that the ruling class are our only saviors in the
coming time of peril.

written about Ancient Rome and her people, the
ancient Romans are often portrayed as people who
enjoyed violence and thought it amusing to see peo-
ple being injured and killed to the point of obsession.
It is now common knowledge that, in Ancient Rome,
people often attended (and enjoyed) gladiatorial
ghts to the death, wild beast hunts, naval battles and
chariot racing. Some public thinkers today have sug-
gested that entertainment today, as it was in ancient
times of Rome, reects the decline of culture, into a
plethora of lust, greed, violence, selsh individualism
and bad behavior. Some Scholars suggest that history
is repeating itself and we are now in a reoccurring
cycle of moral decay and social breakdown. From the
excessive amount of gloried violence in Hollywood
movies, video games, music and on the Internet, one
can easily see the downward spiral of decency.
The moral decay of the Roman culture is also being
aped almost precisely in America. While fertility and

2008, divers discovered the Lusitania
carried more than four million rounds

stuff stored in unrefrigerated cargo holds
that were dubiously marked cheese,
butter and oysters, Gregg Bemis, an
American businessman who owns the
rights to the wreck and is funding its
exploration, told The Daily Mail.

The Reichstag Fire
In February of 1933, a month after con-
vincing Germany's president that parlia-
ment must be eliminated, Hitler and the
Nazis instigated the Reichstag re.
Hitler then urged president Hindenburg
to issue an emergency decree restricting
personal liberty, including the right to
free expression and a free press, lim-
itations on the rights of association and
assembly, warrantless searches of homes,

down on their political opponents .
They worked behind the scenes to force
through the Enabling Act, which legally

ations undertaken by the SS as Hitler
set the stage for the invasion of Poland
and the start of the Second World War.
SS operatives dressed in Polish uni-
forms attacked the radio station, broad-
cast an anti-German message in Polish,
and left behind the body of a German
Silesian known for sympathizing with
the Poles. The corpse was then offered to
the press as evidence that the Poles had
attacked the radio station.

Sponsored Terror Blamed on the

Following the Second World War,
the CIA and Britain's MI6 collaborated
through NATO on Operation Gladio, an
effort to create a stay behind army to
ght communism in the event of a Soviet
invasion of Western Europe.
Gladio quickly transcended its orig-
inal mission and became a covert ter-
ror network consisting of right-wing
militias, organized crime elements,
agents provocateurs and secret mili-
tary units. The so-called stay behind
armies were active in France, Belgium,
Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway,
Germany, and Switzerland.
Gladio's Strategy of Tension was
designed to portray leftist political groups
in Europe as terrorists and frighten the
populace into voting for authoritarian
governments. In order to carry out this
goal, Gladio operatives conducted a num-
ber of deadly terrorists attacks that were
blamed on leftists and Marxists.
In August of 1980, Gladio operatives
bombed a train station in Bologna,
killing 85 people. Initially blamed on
the Red Brigades, it was later discov-
ered that fascist elements within the
Italian secret police and Licio Gelli, the
head of the P2 Masonic Lodge, were
responsible for the terror attack. Other
fascist groups, including Avanguardia
Nazionale and Ordine Nuovo, were
mobilized and engaged in terror.
Operation Gladio ultimately claimed the
lives of hundreds of people across Europe.
According to Vincenzo Vinciguerra,
a Gladio terrorist serving a life-sen-
tence for murdering policemen, the
reason for Gladio was simple. It was
designed to force these people, the
Italian public, to turn to the state to
ask for greater security. This is the
political logic that lies behind all the
massacres and the bombings which
remain unpunished, because the state
cannot convict itself or declare itself
responsible for what happened.

Lyman Lemnitzer, a second term as the

assassinated in Dallas, Texas.

In a recent CNBC clip, nancial analysts admitted to viewers that America is
under the control of a group of central bankers who are building a world govern-
ment. The clip is a damning insight into how the establishment has dispensed
without any pretense of trying to hide their agenda as it is nalized.
During the video, the host asks guests, Do we all work for central
bankers is this global governance at last is it one world the
central bankers in charge.arent we all just living and dying for
what the central banks do?
To answer your question, we are absolutely slaves to central
banks, responds the guest.
We beholden to what central bankers and policy makers do rather
than the fundamentals in the economy, adds another.
This is just one of a deluge of examples where it is now being thrown
in our faces that a banking elite is building a world government at the
expense of the American people.
From treating the issue as a conspiracy theory for decades, the estab-

birth of global government is now well on its way to com-
pletion, with the economies of France, Ireland, Germany,
Belgium, Italy, Greece, along with the IMF and the

These technocrats have not been bashful in openly announcing what they are doing.
Upon his selection to become EU president in 2009, Herman Van Rompuy
announced that the nancial crisis and efforts to combat global warming were

political authority to manage the global economy.
World Bank President and Bilderberg elitist Robert Zoellick also openly
admitted the plan to elim- inate national sovereignty and

rency to be a key compo-
nent of global governance
have been consistent.
In a 2000 speech, a member
of the executive board of the
European Central Bank, Sirkka Hmlinen
stated, In conclusion, I should like to come back

we might one day have a single world currency.

step towards the ideal situation of a fully integrated

mer president of the ECB Jean-Claude Trichet made it clear
that the Global Economy Meeting (GEM), which meets at the
BIS (Bank of International Settlements) headquarters in Basel
would become the prime group for global governance among

Trichet added that the BIS meetings were ensuring that the system
is moving decisively towards genuine global governance.

Americans Who Are 'Suspicious of Centralized Federal Authority,
Reverent of Individual Liberty' Deemed Domestic Threat

A
new study funded by the Department
of Homeland Security characterizes
Americans who are suspicious of central-
ized federal authority and reverent of
individual liberty as extreme right-wing terrorists.
Entitled "Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other
Crimes in the United States, 1970-2008", the study
was produced by the National Consortium for the
Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at
the University of Maryland. The organization was
launched with the aid of Department of Homeland
Security funding to the tune of $12 million.
While largely omitting Islamic terrorism the
report fails completely to mention the 1993 World
Trade Center bombing the study instead focuses on
Americans who hold beliefs shared by the vast major-
ity of conservatives and libertarians and puts them in
the context of radical extremism.
The report takes its definitions from a 2011 study
entitled Profiles of Perpetrators of Terrorism,
produced by the National Consortium for the
Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism,
in which the following characteristics are used to
identify terrorists.
- Americans who believe their way of life is
under attack;
- Americans who are ercely nationalistic
(as opposed to universal and international in
orientation);
- People who consider themselves anti-global (pre-
sumably those who are wary of the loss of American
sovereignty);
- Americans who are suspicious of centralized fed-
eral authority;
- Americans who are reverent of individual
liberty;
- People who believe in conspiracy theories that
involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or
personal liberty.
The report also lists people opposed to abortion and
groups that seek to smite the purported enemies of
God and other evildoers as terrorists.
As we have exhaustively documented on numer-
ous occasions, federal authorities and particularly
the Department of Homeland Security have been
involved in producing a deluge of literature which
portrays liberty lovers and small government advo-
cates as terrorists.
The most agrant example was the infamous
2009 report published by the Missouri Information
Analysis Center and rst revealed by Infowars, which
framed Ron Paul supporters, libertarians, people who
display bumper stickers, people who own gold, or
even people who y a U.S. ag, as potential terrorists.
The rush to denounce legitimate political beliefs as
thought crimes, or even mundane behaviors by insin-
uating they are shared by terrorists, has accelerated
in recent months.
Under the FBIs Communities Against Terrorism
program, the bulk purchase of food is labeled as a
potential indication of terrorist activity, as is using
cash to pay for a cup of coffee and showing an
interest in web privacy when using the Internet in
a public place.
As we have documented on numerous occasions, the
federal government routinely characterizes mundane
behavior as extremist activity or a potential indicator
of terrorist intent. As part of its See Something, Say
Something campaign, the Department of Homeland
Security educates the public that generic activities
performed by millions of people every day, including
using a video camera, talking to police ofcers, wear-
ing hoodies, driving vans, writing on a piece of paper,
and using a cell phone recording application, are all
potential signs of terrorist activity.
The Department of Homeland Security stoked con-
troversy last year when it released a series of videos
to promote the See Something, Say Something cam-
paign in which almost all of the terrorists portrayed
in the PSAs were white Americans.

he State Department has an ofce that hunts
German war criminals. Bureaucracies being
what they are, the ofce will exist into next cen-
tury when any surviving German prison guards
will be 200 years old.
From time to time the State Department claims to have
found a lowly German soldier who was assigned as a
prison camp guard. The ancient personage, who had lived
in the U.S. for the past 50 or 60 years without doing harm
to anyone, is then merciless persecuted, usually on the
basis of hearsay. I have never understood what the State
Department thinks the alleged prison guard was supposed
to have donefreed the prisoners, resign his position?
when Prussian aristocrats, high-ranking German Army
generals and Field Marshall and national hero Erwin
Rommel were murdered for trying to overthrow Hitler.
What the State Department needs is an ofce that
rounds up American war criminals.
They are in abundance and not hard to nd. Indeed,
recently 56 of them made themselves public by signing
a letter to President Obama demanding that he send in
the U.S. Army to complete the destruction of Syria and
its people that Washington has begun.
At the Nuremberg Trials of the defeated Germans
after World War II, the U.S. .government established
the principle that naked aggressionthe American way
in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Pakistan and
Yemenis a war crime. Therefore, there is a very strong
precedent for the State Department to round up those
neoconservatives who are fomenting more war crimes.
But dont expect it to happen. Today, war criminals run
the State Department and the entire U.S. government.
They are elected to the presidency, the House, and the
Senate and appointed to the federal courts as judges.
American soldiers, such as Bradley Manning, who
behave as the State Department expects German soldiers
to have behaved, are not honored, but are thrown into
dungeons and tortured while a court-martial case is con-
cocted against them.
Hypocrisy is Washingtons hallmark, and all but the
most delusional are now accustomed to their rulers speak-
ing one way and behaving in the opposite. It is now part
of the American character to regard ourselves as members
of the virtuous nation, the indispensable people, while
our rulers commit war crimes around the globe.

crimes by our government, it still behooves us to know

You can learn the identity of many of those who are driv-
ing the world into World War Three, while their policies
result in the murder of large numbers of Arabs and Muslims
in Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, Pakistan, Yemen,
Iraq and Lebanon, by perusing the signatures to the con-
trived letter to Obama from the neoconservatives, calling
on Obama to invade Syria in order to rescue the Syrian
people from their government.
According the letter signed by 56 neoconservatives, only
the Syrian government is responsible for deaths in Syria.
The Washington sponsored and armed rebels are merely
protecting the Syrian people from the Assad government.
According to the letter signers, the only way the Syrian peo-
ple can be saved is if Washington overthrows the Syrian gov-
ernment and installs a puppet state, attentive to the needs of
Israel and Washington.
Among the 56 signatures are a few names from the Syrian
National Congress, believed to be a CIA front, and a few
names from dupes among the goyim. The rest of the sig-
natures are those of Jewish neoconservatives tightly allied
with Israel, some of whom are apparently dual-Israeli citi-
zens who participate in the formation of U.S. foreign policy.
The names on this list comprise a concentration of evil, the
goal of which is not only to bring armageddon to the Syrian
people but also to the world.
The letter to Obama is part of the propaganda operation
to demonize the Syrian government with lies in order to get
rid of a government that supports Hezbollah, the Muslims
in southern Lebanon who have twice driven the vaunted,
but cowardly, Israeli army out of Lebanon, thus preventing
the Israeli government from achieving its aim of stealing the
water resources of southern Lebanon.
Not a single sentence in the letter is correct. Listen to this
one for example, The Assad regime poses a grave threat to
national security interests of the United States. What utter
total absurdity, and the morons who signed the letter pre-
tend to be security experts.
How do we evaluate the fact that 56 people have no shame
whatsoever and will lie to the president of the United States,
telling him to his face the most absurd and obvious false
things in order to advance their personal agenda at the
expense of not merely the lives of Syrians but, by leading to
wider war, of life on earth?
This same neocon architects of armageddon are also work-
ing against Iran, Russia, the former Soviet central Asian
countries, Ukraine, Belarus and China. It seems that they
cant wait to start a nuclear war.

etween April and June, according
to statistics released by the
Senate Budget Committee,
more Americans went on Social
Security disability than found jobs.
According to gures released by the
committee, a total of 246,000 people
enrolled in the Social Security Disability
Insurance program while during the same
period 225,000 found jobs.
In May, the Social Security
Administration reported that more than
10 million people, who are not counted
among the unemployed, received
disability benets at an annual rate of
about $130 billion.
Social Security Disability Insurance is
a federal payroll tax-funded insurance
program designed to provide supplemental
income to physically disabled Americans.
More than 150 million workers are
currently insured by the federal program
through FICA taxes.
Senator Jeff Sessions, the ranking
Republican on the budget panel, said
that since 2008 and the onset of the
latest economic recession, 3.6 million
Americans have gone on disability
and 1.3 million have lost jobs.
Amazingly, while fewer Americans are
working than at the end of 2008, 3.6
million Americans have been awarded
SSDI benets over the same period. The
growing number of people on disability
and other federal benets, combined
with weak economic growth, raises
serious concerns about the sustainability
of the American economy, said the
Alabama senator.
It is clear there is a great need
to distinguish between proper and
improper disability claims, and to better
incentivize and nd acceptable work for
those who are able. Today only 1 percent
of Social Security disability recipients
ever return to work. The administration
of this program must be improved to
avoid sinking our country deeper into
debt, to ensure the program remains
viable for those with disabilities, and to
protect Social Security itself.
On July 11, the U.S. Bureau of Labor
Statistics reported a seasonally adjusted
unemployment rate of 8.2 percent.
However, according to John Williams
"Shadow Government Statistics"
website, the real unemployment rate
is closer to 22 percent. Williams'
methodology for determining the real
unemployment rate includes long-term
discouraged workers who are removed
from the category of those considered
unemployed, a bookkeeping trick
instituted by the Clinton administration
in 1994 to make unemployment appear
lower than it actually is.
Others argue the unemployment rate is
closer to 15 percent, or double the ofcial
gure. They cite the U6 rate, which tracks
Americans out of work and also those who
have given up looking for work. According
to Aparna Mathur, a resident scholar and
economist at the American Enterprise
Institute, the ofcial Labor Department
gure leaves out a lot of people who
have just given up. The U6 rate, Mathur
explains, includes all of those people who
are too discouraged to look for work... If
you are unemployed and you have not
been looking for work in the previous four
weeks than you are not considered part of
the ofcial unemployed.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates
that when Obama was sworn into ofce
in January 2009, there were 2.6 million
people unemployed for more than six
months. As the recession turned into a
full-blown depression, the ranks of the
long term unemployed increased more
than a 100 percent to 5.3 million by
June 2012. There are fewer Americans
working today than in 2000 despite the
fact the population has increased by 31
million and the labor force has increased
by 11.4 million.

During a July campaign stop, Obama
criticized small businesses despite the fact
they are the engine of job creation in the
United States. According to data released
by Automatic Data Processing, Inc., of the
216,000 new jobs created in February of
this year, more than half or 108,000 were
created by businesses with 49 or fewer
employees. The 88,000 new jobs created
by companies with 50 to 499 employees
brings the total of new jobs from small
businesses for February to 90 percent, The
Daily Times notes.
The following month, as the economy
continued to worsen, a mere 120,000
jobs were added to the economy, the
smallest increase since last October,
according to ofcial gures. At the
time, economists forecasted nonfarm
employment to rise by 203,000.
Analysts struggled to put the best
face on the dismal numbers by citing
a decrease in unemployment numbers
from 8.3 percent to 8.2 percent, a
minuscule, at best, drop.
The decrease, however, was not
attributed to new jobs, but discouraged
Americans who had given up looking for
employment and no longer gured into
ofcial unemployment gures.
Critics argue that Obama is playing
around 2 million unemployed Ameri-
cans will nd themselves cut adrift with-
out government benets.

some employers are shortening the work

leave, which doesn't show up in ofcial

by former Federal Reserve chairman Paul
Volcker. Members of the panel are involved
in outsourcing jobs. The board has not met
in over six months due to bipartisan issues
and a reluctance by members to meet
during Obama's re-election campaign.

had never been to Berlin. The only thing I knew
about it was what I read in history books, and saw
on TV and in the movies.
We landed at around 8 in the morning, so the
whole day was ahead of me. I ew First Class, and had a
decent nights rest. First Class? Try, No Class on United!
Just another example of Americas decay and decline.
But thats for another time. I was in Berlin to launch the
German edition of The Trends Journal and to open the
European division of The Trends Research Institute.
Something struck me on the trip from the airport to
my hotel. It didnt register right away. But it did within
hours. And Ive been haunted by it ever since. Not a
day goes by when I dont think about it or talk about
it. Thats not an exaggeration.
After checking into my hotel, I was given a whirlwind
tour of the city by my German colleagues, and I got
a pretty quick understanding of the general feel and
layout of the place.
There was a lot of beauty to see. Lovely, independently
owned shops. Sidewalks wide enough for clusters
of caf tables and plenty of space for walking and
bicycling. How civilized, I thought.
Something else struck me. For a city of 3.5 million,
it was very quiet. I thought the wide boulevards with
tree-lled medians helped dissipate the noise. And
most of the buildings seemed under 15 stories (I wasnt
counting) so the noise wasnt trapped in a concrete
canyon like other metropolises. And adding to the
feeling of open space, parks are sprinkled throughout
the city. Yes, it was strangely quiet.
I fell in love. Of all the cities I have been to in the
world, I found Berlin to be the hippest. But I was also
troubled by it. Some of the buildings from the late
19th and early 20th century were magnicent, strong
and bold, radiating German quality. Yet the more I
saw, the sadder I felt.
By late afternoon, it began to sink in ... and very
deeply. Hardly a single street, it seemed, was made
up entirely of these once-upon-a-time architectural
masterpieces. Instead they were like bookends, lled
in between with hastily erected post-World War II
construction. The scene was the same everywhere: A
few old buildings, lots of new ones, some more old
ones.
I started to picture what Berlin must have looked
like before it was bombed. I imagined that it must
have been even grander than Paris before the War.
Germany, I thought, must have been the most
civilized of all the Western societies in the 1930s. The
art, culture, philosophy, architecture - what a society!
Run down the list of names over the centuries: Bach,
Beethoven, Goethe, Wagner to Einstein, Fritz Lang
and Marlene Dietrich.
These are the Germans, I said to myself. Strong,
educated, proud and noble. How could this great
society let a two-bit freak like Hitler destroy their
lives? Why didnt the people rise up and revolt rather
than let the freak lead them to slaughter? It wasnt as
though the whole place was bombed out in a week. It
was going on from 1940 to 1945. When was enough,
enough?
This wasnt a philosophical debate going on in my
mind. This was a question about life, death and the
human spirit.
I know, I know, I told myself. Hitler came to power
because of the humiliating Treaty of Versailles that
the Germans were forced to sign after losing World
War I that set in motion the conditions for someone
like him to take power, blah, blah, blah.
No! It was much more complex than that. There was
something else that allowed the great German people
to put their lives in the hands of a two-bit freak. A
freak that Charlie Chaplin played more convincingly
than the man himself.
Im of Italian descent. A long list of whos who:
Michelangelo, DaVinci, Rossini, Caruso, Puccini,
Galileo - what a history, what a culture! I then asked
myself How could the Italians allow themselves to be
led to destruction by a two-bit freak like Mussolini?
A cartoon character if there ever was one. What is it
that allows people that have the intellectual capacity
to know better to be so obediently led to slaughter?
Then there is America. No shortage of great people
past and present. How could they let two-bit freaks
lead and destroy them? Clinton, Bush, Cheney, Obama,
Romney? To me its all a two-bit freak show. Look
around the world: Blair, Cameron, Rajoy, Netanyahu,
Merkel, Monti, Berlusconi, Sarkozy, Hollande. Name
your country, pick your poison - president, prime
minister, chancellor - all, in my eyes, two-bit freaks.
And theyre dangerous. They start wars, kill
millions, destroy nations. They steal your money and
give it to their friends. And with little resistance, and
sometimes none at all, the people let them do it. In
fact, not only do the people let them do it, they argue
among themselves why their freak is better than the
other freak. They will get angry with you if you call
their freak a freak. They will actually ght and die to
defend their freaks.

What is it in the human spirit that allows this to
happen? And now it is happening again. Our leaders
are leading us to destruction. And, as in the past, the
people are letting them do it.

strife or territorial disputes it all came down to

It's About Tyranny, Not Hunting
Obama supporters and other lovers of
the state recoil at the prospect of armed
resistance to a tyrannical centralized
federal government and refuse to accept
that this is what the Second Amendment
is all about. The rights of conscience, of
bearing arms, of changing the government,
are declared to be inherent in the people,
wrote Fisher Ames, a member of the
Massachusetts convention that ratied
the Constitution in 1788. This concept
is antithetical to the modern liberal who
believes government to be a force of good.
The Second Amendment was to
protect the ability of the people to
violently overthrow the government,
writes Richard Schrade, an attorney from
Georgia and member of the Libertarian
National Committee. Lets remember
that this country was formed in a
violent revolution. Lets remember that
at Lexington and Concord citizen red
on and killed government soldiers sent
by the central government to conscate
their weapons and arms. When
viewed in this light, it is apparent that a
limitation on automatic weapons would
be an infringement on the purposes of the
Second Amendment.
If Obama supporters, Democrats,
progressives and others demanding
the government take our rearms in a
misplaced effort to stop maniacs from
killing people were honest, they would
work to repeal the Second Amendment
instead of chipping away at it piecemeal.

the president patronized hunters and
shooters with an oily sleight of hand.
I also believe that a lot of gun owners
would agree that AK-47s belong in the
hands of soldiers, not in the hands of
criminals, Obama said. That they belong
on the battleeld of war, not on the streets
of our cities.
In fact, according to the founders, guns
including AK47s in the modern context
belong in the hands of the citizens and their
state militias, as plainly and eloquently
spelled out in the Second Amendment.
Thomas Jefferson and the founders did
not craft the Second Amendment to
protect the right of hunters and target
shooters. It was included right after the
First Amendment guaranteeing political
speech to ensure the right of citizens
to violently oppose a tyrannical federal
government if need be.
AK47s and other assault weapons
are the sort of tools that will be used if
push comes to shove and the people must
violently oppose the government.
If we are going to have gun control then
lets not dicker around the fringes. Let
those who would limit the law-abiding
citizens access to arms rst repeal the
Second Amendment. That would be the
intellectually honest way to address the
issue, writes Schrade.
Such a debate is only possible today
because formerly free men no longer
have a grasp of history and have been
brainwashed by decades of government
mandated public education and
propaganda. Early on in America, both the
Federalists and the anti-Federalists agreed
that arms and liberty are inextricably
linked. George Mason and others knew
reexively that the most effective way
to enslave a people is to disarm them.
Mason, in particular, argued that divine
providence had given every individual the
right of self-defense including the right to
defend against a tyrannical government.
Today, we have forgotten all of this.

making an outrageous speech about

that speaker bureau program. We paid out those
honorariums to speakers to go around and tell
other doctors to prescribe We would pay them up to
$3,200 for an hours worth of work. These doctors got
to think they were rock stars. They would go around
thinking they were so cool. They were making a
living talking to other doctors. The only thing bigger
than their heads was their wallets. They were so
egotistical and so rich from it.
What Blair was saying earlier about the slide
presentations that the doctors would use, absolutely
those were written by the marketing people. My direct
clients were the marketing people at Sano Aventis,
AstraZeneca, Wyeth, and absolutely the doctors were
paid to prescribe.
Mike Adams: Wow, so what was the behavior of the
doctors? Were they willing to sell out?
Ally: Are you kidding me? They LOVED it! They
would tack on these speeches onto a vacation. They
would go off and have dinner, lunch or breakfast with
other doctors, and then get the hotel paid for, and get
their airfare paid, and they would pick a couple of
days extra and just go on vacation!
Mike Adams: Remember that folks, when you go see
your doctor, youre probably dealing with a criminal
who accepted bribes. Thats what these are; these
are bribes, these are kickbacks. [For the record,

this admission with the U.S. Department of Justice.]
Ally: Absolutely Im sure all the listeners right now
are shocked by all this. This was everyday obvious for
us. I knew it was wrong in my heart and my soul, I
knew this was wrong which is why I had to get out
of it. It was so blatantly obvious what was going on
but everybody just like sheep kept walking toward
the edge of the cliff, just kept doing it, just didnt
care, the doctors wanted the money, the reps were
getting money, the more prescriptions that they got
the better their sales were, the more kickbacks they
got. Everybody was complicit, it was not a big secret.
Everybody knew what they were doing.
Mike Adams: So how many doctors did your
company deal with in your estimation?
Ally: It was doctors for each and every single drug.
For instance, Sano Aventis had their overall list of
speakers, and then each individual drug had their
speakers. It had to be thousands
Mike Adams: What was the highest amount you saw
paid to doctors for these speaking gigs?
Ally: they could very easily, sometimes they would
make $1500 $1800 for an hour, a visit, a lunch,
breakfast or dinner, but they could go do a breakfast,
and then a lunch and then a dinner, stack it up and then
they were racking up ve or six grand a day. There
were so many little things they could get reimbursed
for. Dry cleaning, meals at the airport. Anything that
was incidental to the trip they got picked up, too.
Yes, I would recruit the doctors based on the
pharmaceutical reps suggestions. So they might nd
a doctor who they thought was in on the deal so
they would submit their paperwork to get this doctor
signed up to be on the speakers bureau, and then
I would just physically coordinate the meetings and
cut the checks. I would set up to get the speakers
airfare, hotel, and get him the slide presentations,
everything he needed to go to this meeting. I would
set up the on-site meeting, it might be a meeting that
had 50 to 60 people, or it might be just one doctor.
There are times the doctor would get paid two grand
to talk to one guy!
Mike Adams: It is a giant orgy of corruption thats
called medicine. If you take these drugs, if you take
these vaccines, you are a sucker of these industries
who are using your body to make prots for their
own lthy rich executives. If you trust your doctor,
youre a fool.
Ally: I think as you said, dont let them use your
body, and dont let them use your mind either. I was
just a young kid doing this job, and I just needed

Greenhalgh points out that the infamous
policy had roots in missile scientists
exposure to and import of Club of Rome
population concepts through international
conferences in the 1970s.
In 1978, a group of Chinese scientists
visited several scientic conferences in
Europe, and readily picked up on the ideas
distributed by the Club of Rome. At the
head of this Chinese delegation was a man
credited for introducing Chinas notorious
one-child policies, source of so much

in the last decades. Robert Zubrin, senior
fellow with the center for security policy,
published an op-ed in the Washington
Times, reafrming that Greenhalghs study
is correct. Zubrin wrote:
In June 1978, Song Jian, a top-level
manager in charge of developing control
systems for the Chinese guided-missile
program, traveled to Helsinki for an
international conference on control-system
theory and design. While in Finland, he
picked up copies of The Limits to Growth"
and "Blueprint for Survival- publications
of the Club of Rome, a major source of
Malthusian propaganda and made the
acquaintance of several Europeans who
were promoting the reports method of
using computerized systems analysis to
predict and design the human future.
In fact, the missile scientists Dr. Song Jian
and company, visited several conferences in
Europe in the 1970s designed to further the
glory and prestige of the Peoples Republic
of China around the world. They picked
up and further developed several methods
to calculate population rates on blueprint
models used by the Club of Rome to calculate
their scams into creation.
The Club of Rome, a think-tank
emerging in the late 1960s out of the
back alleys of the post-World War II
eugenics movement, was meant from its
very conception to be a beacon of light
to which all environmentalist ships were
supposed to navigate. Its creators knew
that the green movement they had set
out to create, was specically designed to
blame man for the supposed predicament
the earth was in. As a consequence the
number of people should be reduced lest
the earth crumble under his crushing

club argued, was for a global body of
power to enforce depopulation goals as
decided upon by the global elite.
In 1972, the self described group of
world citizens, sharing a common concern
for the future of humanity published their
(in)famous The Limits to Growth. In this
document the authors point-blank argue for
the population to shrink if mother earth is
to survive much longer: The overwhelming
growth in world population, claim the
authors, caused by the positive birth-rate
loop is a recent phenomenon, a result of
mankinds very successful reduction of
worldwide mortality.
This development is highly worrisome, says
the Club of Rome. As possible solutions for this
problem it proposes either the birthrate to be
brought down to equal the new, lower death
rate, or the death rate must rise again.
The fact that the Club of Rome and other
UN entities stand at the cradle of one-
child policies may not come as a complete
surprise to those who have read all the
policy-papers issued from the seventies
onward. The same Malthusian idea that
triggered our current green movement
and its obsession with man-made
global warming, once inspired hardcore
involuntary sterilization policies in the
decades preceding World War II.
In the 1991 publication The First
Global Revolution: A Report to the Club
of Rome by Alexander King and Bertrand
Schneider, the common denominator that
the world would need to rally around was
identied in all clarity.

It would henceforth limit every human
female on Earth capable of bearing children

world population in 1900. Had we kept
Earths population at that level we would
not be having this conversation.

would be assigned to keep the earths
population at any level? As John P.

his monstrosity Ecoscience: Population,
Resources, Environment:
() a Planetary Regime- sort of an
international superagency for population,
resources, and environment. ().
The Planetary Regime might be given
responsibility for determining the optimum
population for the world and for each
region for arbitrating various countries
shares within their regional limits. Control
of population size might remain the
responsibility of each government, but
the Regime would have some power to
enforce the agreed limits.
Such an agency exists. It is called the United
Nations. After all, only a global government
pollution,the threat of global warming,
water shortages, famine and the like would
t the bill. All these dangers are caused by
human intervention, and it is only through
changed attitudes and behavior that they
can be overcome. The real enemy then, is
humanity itself wrote King and Schneider.
This contrived and purposeful enemy
arrived in the shape of man-made global
warming. And to think that all of us gullible
gadgets were fooled into believing that
any climate change was caused by that
big lamp in the sky, determining not just
earths overall temperatures but those of all
planets in the solar system.
It just goes to show that the scam is
perpetrated on such an unprecedented
scale, that up until a few years ago few
dared question its validity. The entire
thing of course boils down to the old Nazi
proverb: the bigger the lie, the easier the

regions and all nation-states falling

UN deemed most qualied to do the job

of Rome gave a speech to UNESCO- social
engineers in which he admits that:

To understand what this collaboration
between the Club of Rome and UNESCO
specically entails, Mr. Lees provides us
with the agenda leading up to and following
the Copenhagen conference in 2009:

Annual General Assembly in Amsterdam
on Environment, Energy and Economic
Recovery focused on the key issues for
the Copenhagen Climate Conference. In
February 2010 we will tackle Cluster Three,
on International Development. In April
2010 we will focus on Cluster Four, Social
Transformation and in July 2010, on Peace
and Security. The Programme will conclude
with a major event in November 2010.
The agenda shows that the Copenhagen
conference was far from an isolated
happening. It is just one piece out of
many in the overall global architecture
the elite is constructing incrementally and
with which it means to consolidate power

attempts to disarm critics

The professor may argue that the biggest
problem is people, I would argue its people
like Peters that are the problem, advocating
for dehumanizing policies, global in
scope, imposing restrictions upon people
regarding how many children to put on the
world. But it is not just the professor that
advocates for a global one child policy.
CNN founder Ted Turner, who has openly
stated the earth would be better off when
95% of the human population would
vanish, has also professed his admiration for
the Chinese (read: UN) policies. In 2010 the
Globe and Mail quoted Turner as saying:
the environmental stress on the Earth
requires radical solutions, suggesting
countries should follow Chinas lead in
instituting a one-child policy to reduce
global population over time. He added
that fertility rights could be sold so
that poor people could prot from their
decision not to reproduce.
This echoes the views of Jeffrey Sachs,
Ban Ki-moons sustainability advisor.
In June of 2011, US congressman Chris
Smith rightly announced that the UN and
China are working hand-in-hand to export
Chinas one-child policy to Africa. Sachs
told AFP newswire in May of that year
he worries about Africas ballooning
population. Sachs:
I am really scared about population
explosion in Nigeria. It is not
healthy. Nigeria should work
towards attaining a maximum
of three children per family.
Again: these are not
genuine worries by
genuine scientists. They are
calculated statements by

environmentalists at a side-event
to the 2012 Earth Summit in Rio de
Janeiro that China is the model-state
for the rest of the world to emulate in
regards to environmental matters.
What China does matters to the
world, Strong said, and what China is
doing is actually a tremendous source
of encouragement.
Strong went on to say that
sustainable development has become
a peoples movement guided by the
peoples government.
Strong is a long-time advocate of the
sort of draconian population policies
that China has forced upon its people.
As far back as the early 1970s, Strong
hesitatingly admitted to the BBC that
such a thing as a license to have a child
is the kind of system he would see
implemented globally:

resumed funding for the United Nations

A
fter setting sights on creating
a heavily modied apple that
never browns and doing their
very best to hide the fact that
they are indeed genetically altered, a
biotech corporation known as Okanagan
Specialty Fruits is now pushing for their
new genetically modied apples to hit
the market. The company recently sub-
mitted an application to the Canadian
Food Inspection Agency to launch their
initiative to get the apples into your
local grocery market and reap improved
industry sales, but they made sure that
the data was not available to the public.
Now, after providing virtually no
information to the citizens of Canada
and submitting only two pages of infor-
mation on the product actually written
by the company, Okanagan Specialty
Fruits is now set on a United States
release. On July 9th, the USDA posted
the corporations request for approval on
their website for the genetically modied
non-browning apples, giving the public
60 days to comment before ultimately
making a decision.
The move has outraged many watch-
dog organizations, who have continued
to highlight the fact that the initial sub-
mission to the Canadian government
was embarrassing in its utter lack of
real information. Speaking on behalf
of the Canadian Biotechnology Action
Network, activist and biotech researcher
Lucy Sharratt stated:
The CFIA should be deeply
embarrassed for wasting Canadians'
time on a false invitation to comment
on the GM apple the CFIA public com-
ment period was always a sham because
it was based on no data but this farce is
now completely exposed.
Genetically Modied Apples Opposed
by 69 percent of Canadians.
Unsurprisingly, Sharatts sentiments
have been echoed by many Canadian
citizens and activists. The crusade to
bring genetically modied apples has
been met with extreme activism from
concerned citizens as documented by a
number of new polls and surveys. Giving
a powerful statistical concept of how cit-
izens see the proposition of the modied
apples, a consumer poll commissioned
by apple grower associations based in
British Columbia and Quebec revealed
that 69% of Canadians simply do not
want the genetically modied apple.
One reason that some citizens are
concerned is the fact that biotechnol-
ogy researchers have openly admitted
that while only one gene is necessary to
be altered to prevent browning in the
apples, the change could likely affect a
multitude of other genes in the process.
And with unknown gene changes comes
unknown consequences. In case youre
skeptical, even Monsantos top PhD
researchers have openly stated to former
Monsanto employee and whistle-blower
Kirk Azevedo that during the genetic
modication process other proteins that
are being produced, not just the one we
want, a byproduct of the genetic engi-
neering process.
Eventually leaving the company and
coming out to expose their health-wreck-
ing practices, Azevedo reports:
I saw what was really the fraud associ-
ated with genetic engineering. My impres-
sion, and I think most peoples impression
with genetically engineered foods and
crops and other things, is that its just like
putting one gene in there and that one
gene is expressed.But in reality, the pro-
cess of genetic engineering changes the
cell in such a way that its unknown what
the effects are going to be.
There is still time to submit your com-
ments to the USDA regarding the poten-
tial approval of genetically modied
apples. The Alliance for Natural Health
has established a simple form to do so.

What is the end of 2012 going to bring? Are things
going to get even worse than they are right now?
Unfortunately, that appears more likely with each
passing day.
I will admit that I am extremely concerned about the
end of 2012. Historically, a nancial crisis is much
more likely to begin in the fall than during any other
season of the year. Just think about it. The stock
market crash of 1929 happened in the fall. Black
Monday happened on Oct. 19, 1987. The nancial
crisis of 2008 started in the fall. There just seems to

Settlements says that worldwide
lending is contracting at the
fastest pace since the nancial
crisis of 2008.
The U.S. economy is already a
complete and total mess, and now the
Obamacare decision is going to
throw a huge wet blanket on it. All over
America, small business owners are
saying that they are going to have to
let some workers go because they
cannot afford to keep them all under
Obamacare. It would be hard to
imagine a more job killing law than
Obamacare, and now that the Supreme
Court decision has nally been
announced we are going to see many
businesses making some really hard
decisions.
All over the United States there are
cities and towns on the verge of
nancial disaster. The last week in
June Stockton, California became the
largest U.S. city to ever declare
bankruptcy, but the reality is
that this is only just the
beginning of the
municipal debt crisis.
The tiny island nation of Cyprus has become the fth member of the eurozone to formally
request a bailout. This is yet another sign that the eurozone is rapidly falling apart.
All over the globe the ow of credit is beginning
to freeze up. In fact, the Bank for International

contracting at the fastest pace since the nancial
crisis of 2008.
A recent IMF research
paper by Luc Laeven and
Fabin Valencia showed that a
banking crisis is far more likely
to start in September than in

stock market crash every year. So are there specic
reasons why we should be extremely concerned
about what is coming this year? Yes, there are. The
ingredients for a perfect storm are slowly coming
together, and in the months ahead we could very well
see the next wave of the economic collapse strike.
Sadly, we have never even come close to recovering
from the last recession, and this next crisis might
end up being even more painful than the last one.

bill was 2.362 percent, up from just
0.846 percent a month ago. For
six-month paper, it leapt to 3.237
percent from 1.737 percent in May.
