II. JUSTIFICACION:

English is one of the most international spread languages so that it has become a useful tool to
an integral formation of the students. It allows them in the future to have access to the
information to satisfy the current academic demands and to manage in an efficient way in
diverse situations of the life.
This area adopts the communicative approach, that implies learning English in full
functioning, in simulations of communicative situations and assisting students needs and
interests, using authentic texts and with complete sense, which we can communicate through
various means, in direct, or indirect route, that is using the technological tools, virtual route.
Equally, it allows the students should have access to the advances of the science and the
technology which publications are done in general in English.
The area of English responds social need to instruct citizen student of the world who can
communicate through diverse means. In the same way it permits students have access of the
advances
III. AREA CAPACITIES:

The English area develops capacities of oral expression and comprehension; text
comprehension and text production.
Oral expression and Comprehension. - This involves analysis, understanding and
production in an oral way their ideas, emotions, feelings and opinions, respecting their
classmates opinions and ideas. Students intend to analyze and understand a message from
their interlocutor in different contexts and request a clarification when pertinent taking into
account their level in the language.
Text Comprehension. - Text Comprehension implies reconstructing the sense of the
sentences or simple texts. It is the process which allows to the student understand, identifies
and discriminate ideas as well as develop sub skill from a text taking into account linguistics
structures which are according to the texts and their level..

Text production. Text production is developed as a process whose result is the expression
in written or spoken way of their ideas, emotion and feeling. This motivates an active and
creative spirit apart from facilitating an adequate management of linguistics and non-
linguistic codes.
The area develops a set of attitudes linked with the respect of other opinions, the effort to
communicate and solve communicative problems according their communicative level.
